Excellent size room. We ate at the Cannery restaurant on both nights of our stay. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A 15% discount is applied to food choices for clients staying at the hotel.

This was our first stay at a Doubletree. We travel frequently and use various brands. The Doubletree brand has a few very annoying features. A . free wifi is only available if you sign up for theirs Hilton Honours program. B . Charging $3 for a small bottle of water in the room. With competing brands , both of these aspects are built into the room price.

Nice room, clean and we had breakfast included with our stay so that was great!

Newly rented and nice, however we booked a room with a king bed but due to some system issue we ended up with a room and 2 Queen beds. It was ok since it was one night stay but not what we booked. We stayed on the 3rd floor so to get to the elevator 🛗 you have to pass the main lobby and walk past rooms on 1st floor to access elevator. It's just awkward should be off the main lobby? Perhaps due to previous configuration? . Not well thought out. Also NO SOUND proofing between rooms. We could hear the other people in room next to ours and it was LOUD.

The property was very well located for what I required. It was clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.. the restaurant that was attached ,The Cannery, was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed every meal I had there.

My only tiny issue was that I could hear kids screaming and running up and down the hallway, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. I also had my door knocked on four or five times. The kids were playing in the hall.

Very happy about the location & amenities. It's on me for not checking schedules as we happened to show up during a hockey tournament so there were a lot of kids running the halls until 11pm. We did have a lamp issue, but I let the staff know as we checked out, as it wasn't necessary to use during our stay. Overall a great experience & we will definitely use them in our future.

My husband and I stayed here when we first started coming to Kingston to visit our kids. Originally it was not the nicest place to stay. But we heard about the renovation and decided to try it again. We were very happy this time. Clean, and friendly staff. And enjoyed the new pool! It’s not huge. But we needed a break. So it was just right.

The Chocolate cookies, the newly renovated feel, the welcome on the tv. The pool, water was a good temperature.

The restaurant could use more supervision-staff could be a little more upbeat and customer friendly. Nothing in particular-just haven’t felt taken care of like I do with the rest of the place.

Room is very nice. Modern. Bed comfortable. Nice shower. Restaurant food and staff amazing. Reason alone to stay here.

Forgot to clean our room one day and filll up soap in bathroom another day. Quick calls to front desk fixed issues but should not have happened.

Pricy breakfast ! Weird access to elevators

The staff were very accommodating and nice. When I booked on booking.com I booked with breakfast but something happened after I booked that the breakfast was dropped. But the manager have my parents and brother a free complimentary breakfast

Rooms were spacious and clean. Paid extra $20 for breakfast to be included and my entire family was able to order off the menu at the in house restaurant - food was great. Allowed late check-out. Would stay here again.
