I arranged for my parents to stay last month for their 60th wedding anniversary. The management and staff were exceptionally warm and went over and above to ensure that their stay was perfect. Dinner at the steakhouse was superb, they said. I cannot recommend this property enough. Outstanding location, beautifully appointed and, as I said, they went the extra mile. Our family had an absolutely wonderful experience at JW MARRIOTT THE ROSSEAU From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome. Our rooms were spacious, immaculate, and beautifully decorated, providing all the comforts we needed for a relaxing stay. With a take berthing view of the lake . One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast buffet. There was a wide variety of options that catered to all our tastes,especially for my grand children and everything was fresh and flavorful. The dining area was clean and inviting, making for a pleasant start to our day. Overall, our one-night stay at the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again. Upon entering the room, I was immediately impressed by the level of comfort and cleanliness. The room felt brand new, and the complete kitchenette was a pleasant surprise. It was stocked with everything I needed to prepare meals during my stay. The bathroom was spacious and luxurious, with high-quality amenities and a hairdryer. The location of the resort is simply breathtaking. Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The resort provides golf cart rides to facilitate transportation around the property, and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Their kindness and willingness to assist made my stay even more enjoyable. I had the pleasure of dining at the Beca Italian restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The food was delicious, and the team working there was incredibly nice. The service was top-notch, and the smiles on their faces made me feel welcome and appreciated. One of the highlights of the resort is its full-service spa and the swim-through indoor/outdoor pool. It was a unique and refreshing experience to swim between the indoor and outdoor sections of the pool. Additionally, the resort offers a gym and a business center for guests' convenience. The proximity to The Rock Golf Course and the various recreational activities available on the property, such as canoeing and snow-shoeing, provided ample opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts to indulge in their favourite pastimes. The view of the lake from the resort was truly mesmerizing. It added to the overall charm and beauty of the place. The room itself was spacious, and the huge bathroom and well-equipped kitchen were definite highlights. If there was one area for improvement, it would be the comfort of the mattresses. Personally, I found them to be a bit too firm for my liking.

The hotel is situated in stunning scenery. It is tastefully appointed with a view of the lake. The rooms are spacious. The rooms are quiet and the beds comfortable. There is an indoor/outdoor pool but also a beach by the lake to be able to go swimming.

The hotel and restaurants were expensive and the maintenance of the hotel should have been to a higher standard given the price of the rooms. A little more attention to hotel upkeep though and it would have been a 10/10 stay.

Absolutely loved the rooms, spacious clean and comfy beds. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you are taken care of. The property is stunning, just beautiful. So many activities to participate in daily. Loved our stay.

It is expensive as hell to eat out and drink here. Luckily there’s a cook top and mic/ mini fridge in room so you can do a lot In there. But it’s something to prepare for

Room was very comfortable, complete kitchen with everything I needed and bathroom was amazing! Room was very clean and looked brand new! Location was astonishing, lots of green and they facilitate your dislocation with staff providing golf-cart ride around the resort (no extra fee)

Food options was limited for family with young kids, price was way too high although with good quality. Room service was ok, but again very costly with extra fees on top of the tip. I missed printed menus in the room. they provide R codes but some of them were not working.

The mattresses need to be changed. The mattress topper slipped as soon as you moved in bed. Too short. The furniture has lived and required a good renovation. The hotel surfs on its name. The entrance of the hotel looks perfect. As soon as you look around it’s not the same… the team of gardeners should walk around the pool, …

The hotel's location is excellent, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.Hotel is beautiful and well maintained. We will certainly return and recommend it to our family and friends.

I was dissatisfied with the level of attention to detail provided by the housekeeping staff.

The meals were excellent and waitstaff attentive and pleasant. Buffets were amazing, love them and was so glad they were available. Mia, Akshay, Anthony, William, and Sherman went out of their way to make our stay seamless. Amazing staff. The bar/grill poolside down by the waterfront was great as well. Everything convenient to the pool. Very relaxing. In addition staff were prompt in delivering whatever we needed brought to our room ie extra bedding. Repairs to a leaking fridge was serviced quickly despite it being quite late at night when we noticed, and called for assistance.

Our suite had a leaking fridge, the screen on the sliding door leading out to the balcony had a huge rip and the cabinet under the sink in the bathroom was soaked with water; I suspect from a leak somewhere. Some of the toiletries we brought with us were affected.

Almost everything. The staff are super nice and helpful. All facilities were clean and functional. Pools were clean and warm. Our room was ok. They even extended our stay for free.
