Bed and pillows were super comfy. Towels were fluffy and clean and of great quality. Room was super clean and decor and furnishings were quite nice for this calibre hotel.

Soap/shampoo etc. were of low quality and could be improved, and when I adjusted temperature in room it was blowing out cold air in bedroom and fan was extremely loud so I just turn it off. Temperature was still ok so I only brought this to attention of staff at check out. Also, given conference and large amount of people checking out at the same time, hotel should ensure more front counter staff to accommodate. Might want to consider updating showers.

The Bed was wonderful, the room very well laid out. It has a excellent restaurant Moxies attached. They stored our luggage on the last day which was helpful for us. The called taxis to get us around to and from the RV show.

The table in the room had not been cleaned, and they never came to do the cleaning of the day we were around. This type of facility should provide daily cleaning. Their shuttle service took over an hour to show up at the airport. Their appears to have been some type of miscommunication, we called but the message god lost somewhere in transit.

When I first checked in, I was surprised by the lack of basic courtesy from the front desk staff. The person assisting me did not make eye contact or greet me in a friendly manner, which left a cold first impression. In my experience, hotel check-ins usually begin with a warm welcome—especially since it sets the tone for the entire stay. That said, the room itself was clean and comfortable, and I didn’t encounter any other major issues during my stay. However, first impressions matter, and I hope the hotel can improve staff hospitality moving forward.

Toronto is a vibrant and welcoming city, full of charm and surprises. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring it! However, it's worth noting that many attractions and venues close on Mondays, which can catch visitors off guard. Arriving on a Friday afternoon, we had hoped to enjoy a four-day sightseeing adventure. Unfortunately, with many places closed Monday, we had to shuffle our plans on the fly. Had we known in advance, we would’ve adjusted our itinerary to better fit Toronto's rhythm—perhaps staying longer in the previous destination or shifting our days around. Interestingly, we expected the weekend and Monday to be the city's busiest tourist period, so the Monday closures were unexpected. Closing on Thursday or Tuesday instead might have seemed more intuitive from a visitor’s perspective.That said, the locals were incredibly helpful and kind. Whether we asked for directions or looked a bit lost while studying our tourist map, friendly Torontonians were always ready to assist. raveler Tip: Kick off your visit with the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour. Sustainability & Sip-Worthy Suggestions While our stay overall was enjoyable, there were a few quirks that stood out—especially when it came to the in-room coffee setup. The coffee machine and hot water dispenser felt more like token gestures than functional conveniences. Add to that the disposable cardboard cups, and it felt like a missed opportunity to support eco-friendlier choices. Why not offer reusable porcelain mugs instead? It’s a small change that could make a big difference—for both the environment and the guest experience. As for the coffee itself, it wasn’t quite to my taste. Although Starbucks was conveniently located right at the entrance, it didn’t quite hit the spot for this traveler’s caffeine cravings. To each their own, of course!

We had a wonderful reception by the front desk staff. Every time we came back into the hotel from our outings the staff greeted us with genuine smile and informed us to let them know if there is anything we need. One of the staff members who was particularly nice to us was "Yessy." We really appreciated the speed by which she has concluded our stay and her kind assistance in leaving 1 suite case in temporary care with the hotel security pending our return. Thank you very much. Upon check in we were greeted by Noah who was absolutely fantastic. My husband always enjoys having a room where he can watch the planes and Noah made sure we had a room we were happy with and then even double checked when we came down later to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. This is like night and day from another experience at another chain. Our room was perfect, comfortable and clean. The hotel itself has plenty of FREE parking, Shuttle, all the facilities you need during a stay and even a moxies and starbucks. We highly recommend.

Pick up from the airport went very well. We arrived at 10.15pm, went to the pickup post, and called hotel. Bus came quickly. Check in was quick. Staff member pleasant. The room was huge.... felt a little dated, but sheets were nice, beds comfy. Bathroom well stocked with all towels and soaps/lotions.

The sound proofing wasn't great, we could hear people arrive late in the night and leave at 4.30am, talking to each other. It is an airport hotel so can't really expect people not to be roaming around at that those times though. I think there could be a notice in the elevator and room that in the interest of other guests, to keep noise in halls down to a minimum. Maybe there is but I didn't see it!

Proximity to airport. Staff was great. Airport shuffle was great- I had to take it both ways and they were very accommodating. Beds were comfortable. Sheets were fresh- still warm and freshly laundered when we asked for an extra set. They also provided room service incredibly fast. Customer service 10/10. We had an extra person when we got there and they were able to put us in a room that worked for our family.

Some things were outdated. There was surface mould on the shower tile and the floor hadn’t been swept or vaccuumed in the room. However, I will say- it was by far the cleanest airport hotel We have ever stayed in.

My stay at the Sandman Hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the time i arrived the staff was warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everthing i needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel pool and onsite dinning options made my experience even more enjoyable. The location was convenient. I highly recommend the Sandman Hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay. I will definitely be returning

I was surpised by the $15.00 parking fee, which was not given up front during my booking process.

A very modern hotel udergoing renovation to front entrance that I feel will look fantastic. All the staff I engaged with from front of house to attendants were personable. Three lifts to all floors. Moxies restaurant reasonable price point, offering attractive meals. The spa area although small was well maintained regularly. Jacuzzi offered a lovely temperature with a good pressure. Swimming pool not too cold. I had a King suite, that had a small fully equipped kitchen, a dining g table and soft bed my guest loved it. The bed was comfortable once you got onto it. Lots of power points and two TV. Hotel shuttle was a great option running daily to and from airport at no extra cost. Journey took about 10 minutes and offered lots of transport connections around Toronto and beyond.

The door key had to be reissued every time you went outside. The shuttle drivers were mostly very miserable. Long queues at front desk ment a lot of waiting around.
