I had a great stay overall; the room and property were exceptionally clean, which made the experience all the more comfortable. The amenities provided were thoughtful and well-maintained, adding extra convenience to my visit. I also appreciated how smooth and efficient the check-in and check-out process was, making everything hassle-free from start to finish.

While my stay was generally pleasant, there were a few areas that could be improved. The lighting in the room and hallways was quite dim, which made the space feel a bit uninviting. The building itself looked dated, and the poorly lit corridors added to that impression. Additionally, having an airport shuttle service would have been a great convenience, especially for travelers with early or late flights.

The hotel was a great place to stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

We wanted a room with a kitchen and the pictures on your site of the room we booked had a full size fridge and a cooking range with oven. So we packed food to take on our trip so we could prepare our own meals to save money on eating out. But when we checked in the room we booked was not available because of over booking. Or so we were told. So they gave us what they called an upgrade. But the room they gave us was a more expensive room but it had a very small bar fridge and a microwave. No utensils or dishes in the kitchen. Just empty cabinets. So we had to throw out the food we had because the fridge was big enough to hold it and we had no way to cook it. On top of that we had to spend a lot more money in order to eat while we were there. That we are very unhappy with.

Chelsea , the front desk manager, is great. Keep her and promo her. She answered ALL my questions within 3 minutes. She made me feel welcome, and not foreign/ new to town. The house keeper is helpful, also my room was very clean after her cleaning.

Yeah,,,, the hotel needs an update soon..... It is outdated. 1 ply toilet paper is a very very poor presentation. The TV reminds me teenage days 20years ago. Covid is over, open the restaurant please. You are maximizing profit right now. And I get it, it's business. but in business, you gotta lose some,, to make the guest experience a package a wholesome experience. I am here 2 days only, and I can see you are limiting everything / keeping everything to a minimum / doing the bare minimum , just to get a "pass"

Clean, comfortable. Flooring in our room was a laminate rather than carpet - I love to see laminate in hotels rather than carpet, so I was quite happy with this update. While the front entrance is not accessible, the front desk clerk helped me down the few steps with my large bag - a small gesture was appreciated!

We had a room on the lower level and it was a bit dark and smaller windows because it was below ground. The lighting could be updated.

Room was well appointed. Couch and chairs were in good shape Kitchen was stocked with sufficient supplies. Staff was friendly

The electrical outlets require replacing. The outlets are worn out. With the amount of devices used in today’s world plugs are a necessity. A better system for a mobility challenged person to gain access to the building should be investigated. Trying to enter though an old restaurant entrance with the door locked all the time is not convenient, having to find someone to unlock the door is not conducive to my enjoyment of the hotel chain.

Beds were very comfy and room was spacious and affordable!

Housekeeping knocking on the door and then attempting to get in the room while I was asleep at 8:30am on a Saturday was not fun and then coming back 15 mins later and doing the same thing was annoying considering check out is at 11 and I was checking out that day and was hoping to get some extra sleep before my flight, apart from this every thing was awesome

The location is superb being close to several restaurants, stores and the Avalon Mall. The hotel is easily accessible. Staff are cordial and helpful. There are vending and ice machines provided. There is ample parking space.

The self-service washing machine was faulty for the entirety of my 2-weeks stay. Cleaning services can be improved. Some front desk staff are quite warm and helpful while others appear to be detached.

The hotel is quite old but appears to be well maintained. Close to the airport. The room was spacious and very clean. The night manager we spoke to was friendly and pleasant. He agreed to get us a cab at a good rate for very early the next morning. He gave us a room on the main floor so we wouldn't have to carry our luggage too far.

The cost of a cab from the airport to the hotel was $42.00. A 7 minute drive. Apparently the airport sets flat rates that all cab companies have to follow. Not sure I believe that but highway robbery for sure.

Comfortable; 15 minutes drive to airport; friendly and efficient staff; near shopping mall and several restaurants; easy access to Trans Canada Highway 1.

First floor rooms actually partly below ground level so windows were small, no view, bright light at night from parking lot. Other guests a bit noisy in halls though otherwise quiet. Need a car to go downtown.

No breakfast…. Unfortunately the restaurant was undergoing renovations. I’m sure they will be lovely! Lots of good restaurants in the area. We went to Denny’s & Cora’s the next morning. Unfortunately Hockey tournament took over the hotel & our room & we had to move. Still another nice room though.

The man staff at check in desk got a little frustrated & therefore not as friendly as we would expect.
