For this price, this is absolutely outstanding hotel standard. Rooms were clean, modern and well-kept. Nice lighting combined with NSeoul Tower view from window made it very atmospheric. Beds were very comfortable and sheets were changed every day. The location simply couldn't be better. The neighbourhood was quiet, but it was really close to basically everything - subway, palaces, Insadong street, Myeongdong. We picked it simply because of reasonable price with discount and nice photos, but actually - as mentioned before - we couldn't have chosen better.

After taking the shower, whole bathroom was wet. The check-in and check-out hours could be better - but honestly? Those are things, that didn't anyhow prevail all the good things, that one can experience in this hotel.

If you're looking for a place that puts you right in the middle of everything, this hotel is it. Located in the heart of Insa-Dong, you're within walking distance of countless cafes, shops, cultural spots, and metro lines—perfect for exploring all corners of Seoul. What truly stood out was the hospitality. The staff at the front desk are incredibly kind and helpful. They’re always ready to assist with any questions, and they never forget to greet you with a warm smile. In terms of value for money, it's hard to beat. The rooms are on the compact side, but that only adds to the cozy charm. They're modern, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable—ideal for travelers who are out and about most of the day. One small downside: the air conditioning wasn’t working during our stay. It wasn’t a big issue because the weather was relatively cool, but I can imagine it might be uncomfortable during the hotter months. Hopefully, it’s fixed by summer. All in all, a lovely stay in a great location. Would definitely come back!

The location is fantastic! It’s super central and easy to get to by subway or on foot. The rooms were cleaned every day and super tidy.

The room appeared smaller than depicted in the pictures, but considering the price, it was still tolerable. However, my concern was the bathroom, which was quite small. Essentially, you shower directly by the sink, and the bathroom would get extremely wet after a shower. Fortunately, the daily cleaning and towel-changing services were impeccable, as we had to use all the towels to dry the floor. If you are stay for a couple of nights, should not be an issue. But for a prolonged stay, I would maybe opt for a bigger room/another hotel.

It is near to many places we want to go. On the first day we were a bit confused on where is the bus station or the train station, but after a day, we found that the place is very much convenient with bus station. Train station would be a bit confusing with so many exits they have. Just a few steps walk away from the hotel there is already a town bus that go to tourist places. The blue line bus is near too, cry much convenient to go anywhere in our itinerary. This hotel is also near to one of the hanok place. Just a few walk and we already in hanok village. Unfortunately there is no self service laundry but there is a good laundry shop nearby (just ask the staff and they guide you). Most of the staff i encounter can speak english, so it is convenient. The room is so clean, IT HAVE BIDET! The room is a bit small but it is enough for just 2 of us. The people nearby are also friendly. Downstairs the hotel there is CU mart. Near the hotel also have many cultural shop. Also, while waiting for the check in, we can also request for the hotel to keep our begs. Checking out while waiting for our flight back, they can keep our begs there as well. Very near to the airport bus stop. Lastly, i would like to thank the staff for the warm welcome. Thank you. (We were too occupied with shopping and going here and there that we forgot to take picture of the room >_<)

Honestly i am fully satisfied

I enjoyed my stay at N285Hotel. The rooms look nice with comfortable beds and enough facilities for a comfortable stay. The location next to Insadong-Gil street is great, offering many interesting shops and restaurants, and being at a walkable distance from the metro and several of Seoul's main sites. The view from my hotelroom was also a nice plus, looking out over the city towards Namsan Mountain. There is a convenience store adjacent to the reception hall, which is very convenient if you want to quickly grab something.

The airconditioning did not work very well, making it a bit hot at night. Also as I saw a lot of people commenting, the shower is not in a closed off cabin, so be aware that the bathroom gets quite wet easily. All in all minor issues and considering the price I think the hotel is surely worth a good recommendation.

Amazing hotel, very clean and comfortable. The location was amazing it was very close to the bus stop and the subway station. It was also very very close to the cute hanok cafes and iksangdong by foot and myeongdong was also not that far by foot. The staff were very kind especially the cleaning lady, she was super sweet. They provide luggage storage which is amazing if you plan to visit other cities in korea. Would for sure book this hotel again.

The room was a bit small so keep that in mind if you have large suitcases but most hotels in Asia are small.

This is a good affordable hotel nearby the touristy area of Seoul. If you walked out at night, you’d see street vendors down the down the street. I love that there’s a convenience store connected as well as a Mealtop.

For a 2-week stay, this place wasn’t bad but I’d say my only issues were the size of the space and no full-length mirrors in the room. Honestly, many hotels in Asia will be pretty small but it was a bit hard organizing for 2 people with 2 weeks worth of clothes. Also, I personally love to curate my outfits and didn’t realize our room would have no full-length mirrors so we resorted to using the elevator mirror.

Great location for travelers. Close to areas of interest, public transportation, food and nightlife. The room was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. There's a convenience store on first floor and a bar in the basement.

The room was a bit small, but mainly I had issues with the toilet. I don't want to go into too much details but it seems they had to install the toilet seat too far forward on the bowl (due to the size of the bathroom) which made it very uncomfortable for me (a male) to sit on the toilet seat. Other than these two issues, I had no complaints.

The room was very comfortable and loved having a sofa and a window that opened. It was really comfy in terms of temp as it has heating/AC as well as a ventilation system you could control. The TV only had chargeable movies but you could log on to Netflix if you wanted. Would've been even better if we could cast from our devices. Location was perfect, so close to Insadong and you can walk to Anguk/Gyeongbokgung palace and Myeong-Dong from here. Would stay again!

The bathroom's shower drained very slowly so we had to wait between 2 people showering to avoid major flooding. But otherwise no issues.

Location is really good. Just 5 mins walk away from the blue and green bus stops, 2 mins walk away from airport bus, and there’s a convenient store location on the first floor.

There’s no full body mirror or a vanity mirror in the room. The only mirror is in the bathroom and it is not well lit. Not lighting directly above the bathroom mirror, just behind the person looking at the mirror. It’s really inconvenient whenever you need to prepare for the day. And no kitchen for room service. So you need to really eat outside before going back to your room at the end of the night.
