The location of the hotel is perfect. It is located right between the two main palaces. Perfect for a first time in Seoul. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. There is free laundry available

An upstairs neighbor who kept walking and making noise until 2 a.m. the second night. but it's not the hotel's fault.

I loved the proximity to Insadong for shopping or food. Ssamzigil is a great spot to check out. They have a small laundry room you can use for free. It was quiet, comfortable and the staff are super helpful. The rooms are a nice size, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is really nice size. There is 1 grocery store and a few convenience stores within a block or 2 as well. All around I loved this location and if I want to be located near the palaces again I'd consider staying here because I liked it so much.

It would be nice if there were a few more food items to choose from at their Cafe in the lobby. It wasn't an issue because there are so many places to eat near by... but it might have been nice to just go downstairs and get something early in the morning. Most cafes and restaurants don't open till 10am or later.

We had a great stay at Rate Hotel Sunbee Insadong. The location is in an area with lots of restaurants and stores all in walking distance, and the metro station is close. All the staff were friendly, very helpful, and spoke English. There is a free laundry room, including laundry soap, which was a pleasant surprise. And for Asia, the room was very spacious and everything was modern and clean. There is free coffee in the morning downstairs, and a kettle and teabags in the room. If it's your first time to Korea, many coffee shops don't open until later in the day, so coffee downstairs makes life much easier. I would stay here again; we were 100% happy.

We loved the location, the room, and the staff at Hotel Sunbee. Mr Han was especially helpful to us on several occasions. He went above and beyond to help us get tickets on the KTX to Busan during a national holiday. The rooms were very comfy, clean, and had everything we needed. Mr Han even loaned us adapters when ours would not work. We enjoyed the deep, clean bath at night after walking thousands of steps each day. We were also just steps away from the main shopping street in Insadong. We were also close to Anguk and Jungo Station. Highly recommend!

We struggled with the air conditioner remote but Mr Han finally came to our room and fixed it for us.

5-10 min walk to buses and subway. In th heart of insadong and lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Onsite free laundry machines with detergent

The hotel was close to everything. Three places were within a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel (opposite directions. There was a street market the next street over and most attractions in Insadong and Myeongdong can be accessed easily by walking or by bus. Love the hotel. I stayed in a Korean style room (more traditional). The rooms big are very quiet so you don’t realize you have neighbors until someone gets on the elevator. The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. They are willing to answer any questions you have, order a taxi for you (if needed) or provide help in finding the right bus. I had questions about times for the airport (best time allowance) and they helped me make sure I got to the airport with plenty of time to spare.

Nothing, the hotel is great.

The hotel was located very close to 3 stations, closest being jonggak. It's also located right next to the heart of insadong so it was perfect for our family's last stay as we enjoyed the unique teas around the area. The hotel offers free washing and drying. There are 2 of each. They clean every day and provide all the entertainment (YouTube, Netflix). Bathroom was large with fresh towels daily. The room itself was large and it has internal heating so it was perfect during the cold days. Beds were very comfortable. Finally, but not least, staff were super helpful.

The tv was a little outdated so the resolution was poor. Bathroom shower had a little bit of mold but nothing too concerning. Also those that might be wanting the bidet might be disappointed - you got the normal toilet seats, fine for us though.

The hotel felt really cozy overall. We liked the simple and practical design of the rooms, and spacious and clean bathrooms, and the bright cafeteria downstairs. The also enjoyed the German instant coffee and tee in our rooms and the free espresso maker downstairs. The location was excellent. Thanks to all of the friendly staff! Everyone made us feel welcome, especially the staff at the front desk.

The only thing I would suggest is to install a shower curtain. This would prevent water from getting on the floor, and guests wouldn't have to use the slippers to enter the bathroom.

Twin deluxe room was large with two comfortable beds and pillows. Liked the larger room with a comfortable sitting chair and table. Very clean and as a smaller hotel, elevator wait was short. Reasonable walk to subway and many food options and some of the main sights. Also liked free laundry in basement. As an every other year traveler all over South Korea - found this was a very nice overall value and would stay here again.

Most Korea hotel toilets have bidets - however this did not. But did find the separate toilet area a real plus. Also the shower area is a large open tub. Worked ok but would prefer a rain shower head. These are small nits. And I small quite location and nice room far outweigh these items.

The hotel was a haven of calm amid the bustle of Seoul. The room was large and comfortable and very quiet. The only time I heard anything was when people in neighbouring rooms talked loudly in the corridors on their return at night, which fortunately didn’t happen often. It was also great to have the bathtub and washing facilities in the laundry. It was close to the main Insadong shopping street, Jonggak Station and various bus stops including the airport bus. Staff were nice.
