Great location, friendly staff, well equipped kitchen, free laundry

It's not soundproof at all, so you hear a lot of noise from other guests during the evening and night. In general the bedrooms are extremely warm at night and you cannot change the temperature

Had my own room - space is a bit tight if you have a big luggage, but for 1 person it is manageable. Bed is rather big as well. Living room and toilets are shared, but there are multiple toilets (1 on each floor) so there are no complaints. Many amenities provided to ensure you have as pleasant a stay as possible. Laundry room is also provided and free of charge. Overall a very value-for-money accomodation to stay in for solo travellers, and very nicely situated in Insadong which is also very near 1 or 2 convenience stores and Anguk station.

Flies and mosquitoes were in my room every night even if I got rid of 1 or 2 each day.

Location was excellent, close to Anguk Station and surrounded by food/galleries/pottery/calligraphy/stores with general knickknacks tourists might like to buy (Yehadoye in fact includes a shop, the pottery was very nice.) Staff were friendly and helpful in the lead-up and during our stay. Kitchen/living room contained anything I could even think of to be helpful (iron, printer, vacuum etc) and we were able to use the laundry. Rooms were a pleasant temperature despite snow outside and the heated floor in the bathrooms was very nice. There was always plenty of room in the fridge.

Personally I didn't mind, but be aware there are only stairs. Also - you'll find this across Korea, it's not an issue with Yehadoye specifically - used toilet paper goes in a bin.

The location was excellent. Very close to the main attraction in the area. Hosts are very accommodating. They provided everything that we needed. Various types of amenities even a toothbrush that my daughter forgot to buy/bring. Although it’s a shared bathroom, but there are enough barhrooms for everyone to use, so it’s great!

Although it was not an issue for our family, The suite is on the top 5th floor, so it might be difficult for elderly people. The AC in the bedroom was leaking a bit. It was also not strong. It could be an issue during a hot Summer months.

The location was great and check-in was easy with the shop downstairs. The room was perfectly sufficient, with a shelf to put my bag on, a couple of hangers, and a little desk. The kitchen seemed usable and the bathrooms, while not super close to the rooms, were never occupied when I needed them.

The room was hot at night with just the one blanket option but there were no screens on the windows to keep the bugs out when I tried to cool it off. I killed 8 mosquitoes and there was at least one more that got away - at least one bug bite per bug.

The location was excellent, the building was right at Ssamji-gil in Insadong near palaces and delicious restaurants. 6 minutes walking distance to subway #3. Subway #5 was little further about 12 minutes away by walk. Staffs were very nice and friendly. You'll find some nice traditional Korean souvenirs on the ground level of the building

No elevator, be ready to walk up the stars with suitcase. No private bathroom, the shower (shared) was by the foyer on the 3rd floor where I stayed. Other shared shower and bathroom were in-between the 3rd & 4th floors

This stay was great! The location is excellent, close to many restaurants, tourist attractions, and the metro/bus station. The owners were very kind and took the time to explain how everything works. The room itself was spacious enough for one person, and there was a fully equipped kitchen with a water dispenser. I didn’t have any issues with the bathrooms either—I felt like there were enough for all the guests. Towels, a blow dryer, shampoo, and other amenities were also provided. I would definitely book again.

There was some small construction going on in front of the building. I know it’s not the hotel's fault, but it would have been nice to know in advance. Luckily, my room was on the opposite side, so it wasn’t too disruptive—nothing that earplugs couldn’t fix!

Location was amazing sure to the proximity to good food and bus stops. Multiple convenient stores around. Safe and easy to navigate once you figure out the little alley ways. Clean and washing machine use a huge plus.

The walls are not sound proof so just be aware. Also mosquitos were a huge pest for me. Unfortunately they are all over in Korea and because the property leaves the windows own during the day they find their way in.

It’s located on the city center. The facilities were great. They provide even shampoo and soap. But please keep on the mind that it is a shared bathroom. The owner were so nice and explained everything clearly. when check out times, they offer to put the luggage if you want to go around for a while.

The price is not expensive but not cheap. So, i wish i got discount on the next trip. The pillow is hard, and i wish there is another pillow.

Place was really stacked with many items and hosts were very helpful and kind. They recommended us a very nice BBQ place and helped us with anything we asked. Guesthouse is located next to big gallery and there are many restaurants and shops around on the Insadong street, so localization is very good. It is also close to Anguk Station and other attractions like Bukchon Hanok. Price was also very good for longer stay!

Our rooms were on the 5th floor and since guesthouse is located in old building, there is no elevator there. It may be a bit difficult to carry your lugagge to the higher floors if it’s too heavy.
