I like that it is in between of two Metro stations that are walking distance. I also walk from the Hotel going to Changdeokgung, Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village. The hotel is surrounded by Restaurants that will make you have a taste of local food. They also provide housekeeping upon request. People are so accomodating. Don’t be surprised if no one is in the reception duting your kaye checkin or checkout all instructions will be provided to you in advance. Free usage of Laundry with free liquid detergent.

Loud banging sounds of door, caused by other customers.

Value for my money, The room was cleaned quite offen an I also could do my laundry. It was in walking distance to nearly all the sites that I wanted to visit and only a short bus ride to the others. I also liked that the train station was only a couple of minutes away, and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks again for making my time here very memorable.

Their was nothing that I didn't like.

Great localization and crew. Few rather spacious drawers and closet which are rare in Korean budget hotels. Clean sheets and towels. Couple of washing machines avaiable as well as dryers and clothes steamers- all of them free of charge. I would rate this stay as a 8.5/10.

Lack of utensils in the kitchen. Dust on lamps and little bit under beds but the rest of the room was rather clean. Beds might be a little too firm for some people.

Kakao or Naver Maps is essential for traveling in South Korea! This hotel is in a very convenient location in South Korea. I traveled alone, and this accommodation had an interesting but safe environment. The area provides easy access to the airport, Starfield COEX Mall, Suwon-si, Inwangsan Mountain, Bukchon Hanok Village, Changdeokgung Palace, Dongdaemun Market, Myeongdong Shopping Street, and Hogdae Street, convenience stores, and more. I took the bus and subway and walked, but using Naver Maps was easy! I matched the bus number on the right side of the road and pressed the "stop" button when I wanted to get off. I only used public transportation because it was unnecessary to use anything else! Lastly, this hotel is for individuals who wish to travel most of the day and need somewhere to rest at night. Interesting perks about the accommodation: - Self-check-in and self-checkout (This is perfect if you want to check out at 2 AM)! - Free Towels and other amenities (located by the elevator if needed) - Baggage Storage - Reasonable Check-In and Check-Out time - Passcode for room - Good privacy - Common lounge - Easy Checkout - Staff provides charging blocks (inform staff before use), a recommendation pamphlet of restaurants and popular locations, shower shoes, and more! - Spacious room for solo traveler Any traveler can get a lot of value from this stay for the amount paid! Other than the reviews, the location was one of the most important factors I considered. However, this hotel exceeded my expectations!

I wouldn't say I like the shower and toilet being in the same area. This is common in Asian countries, but it requires a person to be careful not to spray water anywhere other than close to the drain accidentally. The shower shoes that are given help reduce the issue of stepping on water, but they are only helpful for the floor. The room I stayed in has also seen better days. Overall, I got a lot of value for the price paid. There are issues to note, but they are not necessarily disruptive.

The location is strategic — near tourist spots and train station. Better than Myeondong as I prefer a not too chaotic place.

Great location near several tourist attractions; floor heating; good WiFi; helpful staff; decent room and bathroom size.

Extremely noisy! Party 24/7 in other rooms for all three days & nights! Slamming the doors all around like 20 times in half an hour as much the walls were shaking. And as staff is working remotely it is not convenient to complain about it. / Outside covers of windows totally restricting any view.

Great location, many things to see and eat in walking distance Room was bigger than I expected, bigger than shown in the photos. clean and no smell, heating worked well Decent furniture with closet, drawer, table and stool

The perfume in the elevator is a bit too much Water cooler should be in the lobby, I didnt know it was available in the basement till my 5th day Staff were helpful but they weren't there very often

Honestly, everything was pretty fantastic. The staff at reception were lovely and they were responsive via messages regarding any issues and questions. The room was very comfortable. Everything necessary was supplied, including fresh towels daily, even when not requesting housekeeping. A powerful hairdryer (which you don't always get in hotels) and I saw that there were courtesy umbrellas, plug adapters and other bits that you could use too. Laundry facilities being included a huge plus. Just an all round great stay and great value. Yeah it's not luxury, but in many ways much more pleasant than some "fancy" places I've stayed - it knows what it is and does it well. The hotel also felt safe being tucked away and needing a code to enter at night, and the location was a 10/10, being close to the subway, cafes, restaurants, and a ton of cultural sites.

If anything, I'd ask for better cups to use in rooms - the paper cups supplied were a bit flimsy (fine for bathroom, a little useless for making a hot drink in the room, unless you stacked like 3 at once, which was wasteful). Since the communal dishes from the kitchen weren't to be taken to rooms, regular mugs in the rooms or more sturdy paper mugs would be great. Also some people left the sink in the kitchen dirty, but that's on other people, not on staff.

SSH Icon hotel is situated in the vicinity of a lovely market, where you can find lots of cafes, restaurants and places to shop and experience Korean culture. It's also close to a metro station, which makes it convenient to travel around the city. It offers access to a laundromat, which helps immensely when you travel light. Great room, with all the amenities provided, including slippers and mini fridge, decent size bed, quite comfortable.

The limited space you have for showering makes it a bit uncomfortable, as you have to be careful not to splash water everywhere. Also, a larger size duvet might be better for those aiming to book a double room.

The hotel really exceeded our expectations. The location was great: we could walk to the major attractions and there are lots of restaurants, bars, coffee shoots and convenience stores nearby. The area is lively and has everything you need, but the hotel is located in a place where there is no noise during the night. It is also very easy to reach from the Incheon airport - it takes a while because the airport is far from the city, but the subway is very easy to navigate and it will take you super close to the hotel. The room and the shared spaces were very clean and comfortable, even better than the pictures. They also have washing machines and dryers available free of charge. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. Every single person who works there has gone above and beyond to help us with everything we needed (and they speak perfect English). No doubt that we will be coming back the next time we are in Seoul. Thank you for everything!

Everything was perfect.
