We got there before check-in time and the staff was kind as to keep our luggage in the morning while we were out having breakfast and exploring. The reception is very friendly, speaks good english and is helpful, with good communication and fast replying to messages. Our room was on the second floor and for 4 nights it was our home base in the city. Big enough, comfortable for 2 people, good AC and WiFi, the mattress was not very thick but surprisingly comfortable. The bathroom was efficient and had everything we needed. We made use of the laundry one time as they have an outdoor terrace were you can dry after washing, just 1000 wong for the soap and machine use, super convenient. The location is unbeatable, close to all the hip streets, shops, eateries and convenience marts. Short walk distance to the subway stations and bus stops, about 25 minutes walk to the popular Myeongdong area (must visit). There is also a kitchen were you can prep yourself some breakfast (you must provide your own ofcourse) before leaving to explore the beautiful city, we had Ramen or Samgak and tea/coffee every morning, super convenient. Overall it was an excellent experience and we highly recommend staying here either for shorter or longer stays. Excellent value and service.

There is no small lights or bedside table light, just one very bright white on the ceiling. The bathroom was smelly sometimes, we believe there is an issue with the shower drainage. The curtains are not full blackout so there is some light filtering in the room from about 6 in the morning. The shower sometimes was not as hot as one would expect. The bed could use a pair of extra pillows for reading.

The owner was super helpful and understanding, and he responded to messages very fast. You can self check in, the location is nice, and all necessary things are available in the accommodation and near surrounding. Everything was according to the description, room and bathroom as well as available kitchen was clean and neat. It is a bit on the side so no noises from the street will disturb you. Highly recommend this place. It’s a great option for solo traveler.

It is the matter of preferences, but I found bed pretty hard and squeaky.

Excellent location, close to main temples. A bit dated but comfortable and quiet. Late night self-check-in was handy. Bus 6011 from Incheon airport takes you really close (about 150-200 metres on foot). It has a roof terrace and a washing machine, a microwave in a modest kitchen. About 400 metres south of the guesthouse is a bustling eating-out street (running in east-west direction), loads of younsters sitting indoors and outdoors. Liked a sensible and sleek restaurant Tone & Carat www.tone-carat.com. Would stay again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was spacious enough for the two of us (two females), even with two large suitcases left open. Both the room and the bathroom were clean. The location was fantastic. Jongno Station was within walking distance (less than 7–10 minutes). There were lots of antique and beautiful cafés and interesting places to explore near the accommodation.

Beewon Guesthouse has clean rooms and is located within walking distance of great historical sites in Seoul. The bedrooms have all the basic necessities. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a community kitchen with all the appliances needed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

The people living in the area above the room were a little noisy, but that is their fault and not Beewon's fault. The only thing that could be a problem for taller people is that the bed sheets are a bit short, and your feet may stick out. However, overall, there wasn't really anything I didn't like.

The location is perfect, close to key placed to visit and eat, and with easy access to public transportation to everything including the airport! There are also great restaurants of all price ranges nearby. Service is excellent as well, with very responsive and friendly staff. No problem with language as the family who runs the guesthouse can both speak English and use the latest technology in language translations. Think Pappago! While not the most modern of places, the price, efforts at cleaning and the friendliness and service make up for the lack of luxury.

Others might not appreciate the self service style of the guesthouse with its code key access to the premise when staff are away but we can appreciate the ease of entry and exit. It was also not so easy to find at first but once you're there and used to the quintessential small streets of older Seoul, it is not a problem at all. While not absolutely important to us, others might have to get used to the idea of a very non-American wet room for the bathroom.

Great location being walking distance from the palaces and short bus ride away for the markets. Great place to stay for short visit to Seoul! Self check-in & out both very easy

Bed is creaky and could hear when people come/go because room is right by the entrance.

Comfortable stay, rooms were clean. Hot showers. Easy transportation to wherever needed. Breakfast was eggs, a little fruit and a ton of wheat buns

The breakfast would have been better with more fruit and a salad than all the wheat bread

The managers were very friendly and accommodating, they had a luggage storage, hot and cold water available and a nice kitchen area in the back. The room was simple but had everything we needed and more: A/C, a bathroom with shower, disposable amenities. Location was close to subway, airport bus, Insadong and the Ikseondong Hanok village with tons of cool restaurants and alleys to explore!

It was a small space, and the bed was adequate for sleep, it would have been nice to have a lamp or less harsh light at night. For the price, location, and amenities, though, it was totally worth it!

We have stayed on several occasions. Great staff, very accommodating. Held our luggage between stays, laundry service. Self check in worked fine. Great location, can walk9l to palaces, restaurants, cafes and MRT. 200 m from Airport bus stop.
