Best location near the station and Changduekung palace 3minutes by walking. HANOK VILLAGE IS NEAR BY.

The roof top floor is nice view but no service and very dark at night. No light and close at 9pm. It is very short period if you back from outside,and want to sit and enjoy top view. When I went up to the roof top I have to serch for the light switch to on the light!!. It is so dark up there and look like not welcoming guest. The lobby area and kitchen are mess up and dark. At9pm lobby, kitchen are in the dark. It is not pleasant. The hostel is very quiet area, good for sleeping when you back from outside. The towel provide for guest are very small.

I like that it was in an area where there was a mix of traditional and contemporary buildings. I also love that there is a convenience store below it making it easy to top up and buy food. I love the staff as well!! Super responsive and were friendly each time we crossed paths. The place was really easy to find anf the process of checking in and out was really efficient. They also provide New Years stickers which was super cute. If you are planning to come to Korea, this hostel should definitely be on the list of places to stay!!

I just didn't like that there wasn't much around to see tbh. I wish that there was closer shops such as Shaburyo21 or KFC because I found myself using bus to travel to these places compared to my other accomodation.

Very good locality, just 10 minutes walking to the Gyeongbokgung palace, and about 3 minutes walking to the Changgyeonggung palace, however that was under reconstruction during the time we were visiting. The rooms are very comfy, with enough space for two people. They were very clean with comfortable bed. The staff was excellent - they helped us with recommendations about what to see, they were very helpful on whatsapp when they were no longer in work. They have helped us order food to the room as that requires Korean number/card, and they helped us booking the taxi to the airport. Very helpful and always very happy to help us.

The location is excellent. It’s around the corner from Changdeokgung Palace. It’s on a big boulevard and walking distance from important bus stops to Myeongdong and the airport limousine bus. However after you become familiar with this area, you can easily walk it to Insadong-gil and Myeongdong. The best surprise was the cool hip area opposite the hostel along the wall of Jongno shrine with bars and cafes. I will definitely stay here again. The room is a good size.

There was a section of the wallpaper on our room that needed repairing. So they should invest in maintaining the interiors of their rooms. But overall the rooms are nice and a good size and clean.

Central location close to subway (10 min walk) and buses including airport stops (5 min) Nice neighborhood, convenient store closeby Receptionnist is super nice, available to answer all your questions, speaks very well english and send you infos prior your arrival about directions and check-in hours which is very helpful. I asked for a quiet room on high level and he honored my request Not really a hostel more a hotel which is fine by me but people who would like to meet other travelers could be disappointed Kitchen area with microwave, cutlery and plates available although the fridge was out if order

Laundry is overpriced for me ie 30000 W for up to 3 kgs Cleaning is free once if you stay a week. Otherwise you'll have to pay if you want it but you can change for new towels every day at reception desk. No toilet paper in toilet and trash have to be sorted out for recycling downstairs

Great location next to the palaces and Ikseondong for food. walking distance to get airport bus (from Incheon). Easy access to bus and subway. Friendly staff. Fridge in room. Purified water machine available at reception. Roof terrace was great too!

No shelves/cupboards to put away clothes (just a rail attached to a wall with a few hangers). Be aware that toilet paper goes in bin next to toilet as plumbing cannot cope.

great location, 7/11 and subway station nearby as well as many palaces clean room with fridge, kettle and hairdryers there were slippers provided for the shower! the room was spacious in the lobby there were many journals/books/magazines about seoul and we even found one in our native language

only small towels were in the room we stayed there for 4 nights and saw staff members only once. that is not a problem, as they gave us all instructions and we didn’t particularly need their help

Its not the typical hostels im used to when traveling. Even my previous visit as a solo traveler in 2015, i also used hostel as accommodation. The difference here are pretty obvious- the atmosphere ( hotel like), there are no free coffee or optional breakfast (like in other hostels that im used to anywhere in the world) , there are no common place where fellow traveler can interact ( hotel type lobby vibe only) BUT whatever they lack in the service inside was available outside. The location is smack dub in the middle of everything. Its close to bus transpo and metro transpo. A stone throw away from a landmark castle and it is near a famous street food area that comes alive at 8 every night plus its near artisan bakeries and coffee shops. Highly recommended place to stay due to its location

No one cleaned the room during our stay

I chose this stay because of the location near Insadong and Ikseudong, where all the nice cafe at the day and busy pojangmacha at night situated. The area seems always busy, but safety near to the hotel but also far enough so we wont heard anything. We took Airport bus 6011 to the hotel and return. Very convenient and easy. Changdeokgung palace is nearby, Sevel is just in the same building, nearby station is Anguk and Jongno 3/5 station. The guy in receptionist speaks english fluently, and the cleaning lady also very kind. The room is just standar, but spacious enough for 2 people. Worth the price.

Stayed for 5 nights and our room didn't get cleaned. But maybe it's their rule. They did say to take care our own litter and separated based on items. We're not used to it but still manageable.

Perfect location, being near all the restaurants, bars, and sightseeing places. About 8 min walk to two big subway stations. But you were still faar away enough to avoid all the noise. Staff who worked there were so helpful and nice. There is a 7 eleven on the first floor which is a huge plus.

It got really hot and stuffy. Even though, the staff said he will adjust the temp, it got hot and had to leave the windows open. Wish the rooms had a microwave.
