At first, it wasn’t easy to find as it’s kinda tucked away. Had an email instructing what to do. As there’s no staff in person to greet me. But, the taxi I ordered on booking.com, the driver was fabulous!! Took my luggage right to my room door👍🏻 Lots of eateries as you turn right and go pass CU convenience store. At night, the place is a zoo for starving people!! The washing machine also had a dryer setting but needed to set it twice to dry properly. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic and drains rapidly👍🏻 The plug for the bidet , I had to push it in properly otherwise, no washy of the bottee😆 The cafe VVV is very good and guests get a 30% discount for brunch and 10% discount for drinks. Store room comes with a KeyCode, so, you can store luggage at anytime. My Walker was delayed by my airline and they delivered it into the storage room. Very efficient. Walking distance to Onion Bakery near Anguk Station and try Artist Bakery 🥯 get there early or long wait! I needed extra rubbish bags and water and drying rack and all were delivered by a lovely young lady within 10 minutes!! No cleaning during my 7 night stay. Will cost K$20,000 to clean. Since I am a Solo traveller, I am very clean anyway. The washing machine was used daily and English instructions under the dial helped a lot👍🏻 I couldn’t watch any TV as I don’t have a Netflix account and will cost money if I wanted to watch a movie 🍿 Too busy planning what to and where to go! There is a sauna and spa placed called Insedong Spa. My feet were swollen and I had a massage and sauna in a salt room and a bath. Pleasant way to end the trip. Best place I have ever stayed and was Super Happy 😃

Need a clock on the kitchen wall and that’s it!

We loved the cleanliness and simple look of the room. We stayed here in late March/early April. The washing machine amd microwave were great to use. The bathroom and toilet were clean and modern looking with a toilet to properly clean ourselves. The location was also very good. In a great neighborhood, close to public transport and the airport bus. There was also a beautiful palace nearby. It did get very warm inside because the floor heating was on incredibly high in a small space (26 degrees or something?). We noticed many hotels doing this. Luckily there was good AC to balance this out. We would definitely stay in this place again. It was one of our favorite accommodations on our trip.

Urbanstay was our home base for two weeks in Seoul and the location was unmatched. Literally on the doorstep of Ikseon-dong, we were always moments away from an amazing new cafe or restaurant. Close to two subway stations, it was effortless getting around the city. The room was beautiful, the beds super comfortable, and everything you needed was provided - even a steamer for our clothes when they came out the dryer! Luggage storage is great. 7/11 just downstairs. There's no cleaning service for the duration of stay or front desk, so has less of a hotel vibe and feels more like an apartment block. We preferred it that way for a long stay. We did realize upon landing in Seoul after 8pm that we hadn't received the entry codes via email yet, but a quick email to the helpdesk rectified that and we had all necessary details before we even made it through passport control.

The location is incredible. Minutes away from what is definitely the coolest area in the city. it’s so easy to get around from there and it’s so easy to just walk to some of the most beautiful and enjoyable parts of the city. The property is clean and well managed. Amenities provided are great. Shower and shampoo products provided are really good quality. Even though it’s just a floor mattress not a bed, the mattress and bedding provided is exceptionally comfortable. Despite the room being really small, it’s nicely planned out so you don’t feel too squashed.

The complete lack of any kind of human management is a little bit jarring. We ran out of toilet paper and didn’t know how to ask for more. We asked for an extra blanket and we were not given the blanket and told that they had no extra blankets. Difficult to figure out the heating/cooling system. No room cleaning at all and no tools provided for room cleaning. WiFi speed was not great. One very odd thing was that there was no dish sponge to wash dishes, just dish soap, and again had no way to ask for one.

The Urbanstay Boutique Ikseon in Seoul was satisfactory. It is recommended for longer stays. It is walking distance to our office. The studio room size was OK. Kitchenette and laundry machine are available.

Cleaning services are not included but can be arranged for an additional fee. Basic supplies are provided for the first three days, with further supplies available upon request for a fee.

The location is great. CU right down stairs and lots of restaurants nearby which you have no worries for late night snacks. The train station is just 5 mins away and airport bus stop also nearby. No hassles traveling from and to airport. The room is with good space and sufficient amenities. However there would be no cleaning service unless you pay 25000w so if you are looking for hotel service then this is not the property for you but if you are a city wanderer and love to live the life like a local and maybe for a long stay…this is a great place for you. Washington and drying machine available in the room. With full kitchen ware and microwave so you can cook or reheat food anytime. My only concern is there’s no way to chain the door from inside…it’s only one pad lock which i feel might not be enough but in general it’s a great stay and nearby area is quite safe also.

No cleaning service provided even for longer nights. No lock chain from inside. No actual frontline staff so the service feel a bit cold…

Location - walking distance to attractions and the subway. (6-10 minutes for all in the area). We took the airport bus and it was a 6 minute walk from the drop off to the hotel. The room was small but still met our needs. Ok for 2 people and luggage but that's it. Clean. Comfortable beds. Liked having the kitchenette and laundry. They provided the dish and laundry detergent. Great.

I thought the pillows were fine but my nephew said they were not comfortable for him. The room smelled of smoke, likely from surrounding apartments. Having the laundry was great but you must know, it takes 4 hours to wash and dry 1 load. There did not seem to be a way to make this shorter. Once you start the machine, you can't unlock or change the settings. I could not figure out how make changes.

The room was a cozy design that fit my style to a tee. It was like my dream apartment and had very modern appliances such as the induction stove and the washer/dryer combined unit. The bed was very comfortable and it was perfect for watching movies in the evening. I also loved how close it was to Ikseon-dong and Jongro 3-ga station to the south with 3 subway lines available to use as well as to an airport bus stop to the north. It was also super close to palaces and temples. The staff were also very very quick to respond to me and help out with anything I needed, such as more toilet paper or replacing batteries on remotes and the door.

There isn’t really anything bad I can say about this property other than that it initially may be a little hard to find for some, as the entrance is on the side of the cafe on the bottom floor and that the price may go up during more peak seasons.

I loved everything about this accommodation overall. It felt safe and welcoming for a solo traveller like myself, though do note that the streets and alleys around can be a bit dark and quiet at night. Since there are many pubs nearby, I did come across a few drunkards—but nothing too threatening. The room itself was lovely—very clean, with comfy beds. Only minor issue was that the wall where the TV was mounted had some holes or maybe poor paintwork (thankfully not mould!). The reception team, though only contactable via the Booking.com app, was very responsive, helpful, and quick to reply.

One thing to flag: the café on Level 1 was closed during all three days of my stay, which made the area feel dark and a bit lifeless—I’m not sure why it wasn’t open. My only real gripe was with the washing machine. I unknowingly did my laundry with a few pairs of smelly men’s underwear and socks that had been left inside. I didn’t check the machine beforehand as the door was ajar, so I assumed it was empty. Unfortunately, my clothes ended up smelling too and I had to rewash everything multiple times. That was quite upsetting. Despite that, I genuinely enjoyed my stay and would still recommend the place—just be sure to check the washing machine before using it!

Location was perfect- many interesting destinations within walking distance or short bus ride away. The lobby area was nice and I appreciated that I did not have to go out to get a cup of coffee. The place had everything I needed and I did not have to eat out every meal

I stayed for 3 weeks and they do not provide additional supplies like toilet paper. Also the room will be more useful if there were several hooks at the entrance area and the back of the bathroom door. Hanging hats, umbrellas and jackets. Full length mirror on the outside of the bathroom door would have been nice too.
