Family boutique hotel. Amy at reception was so warm and caring when things didn’t go according to plan during our arrival that made us feel truly welcomed and looked well after. Would come back and stay at Dada again in a heartbeat. Plus beyond the charming and comfortable hotel it’s by far one of the the best possible location in Gangbuk and on the quiet but super accessible area of Insadong. If they have rooms available (the place fills up quickly!) this is the place to stay with the best cost/value ratio!

The staff at the hotel were incredibly attentive and helped out with everything, even helping sort a clothes wash out. The breakfast was great aswell as the daily cleaning of our rooms. check in was super easy too

the rooms were slightly small but justified with the price. they were still big enough for 2 people to have suitcases fully opened at all times

The property is very well located , in the center of Seoul. A lot of alleys with restaurants and shop. Closed to the subway and the biggest monuments . It’s really family oriented although I was a solo traveler . The room is not really big but it’s very comfortable and very clean . Athena rooftop is really cute ! Highly recommended !!!

The location is amazing. We definitely come back here. it is the best area in Seoul to stay. the hotel is comfortable, the personnel is nice and the services are good. we didnt use the breakfast so much, because it was just toast and coffee (and instant noodles), and there are amazing brunch places around the corner. but the breakfast is fine of course and the coffee was good. the rooms are small, but for this price in Seoul it is efinitely a recommend!!

The very best at Hotel Dada were the very friendly staff. We also liked that two of the breakfast tables were outside surrounded by big pot plants rather than in the air-conditioned foyer. The bed was big and comfortable. And the position of the hotel was superb.

The room was indeed very very small. Luckily we were travelling with backpacks. It would have been impossible to open a suitcase, though, unless you put it on the bed.

Please refer to my very recent review, written before our extension to our stay. I shall only add directions: Take exit number 4 at Jongno 3-ga subway station. Look to the left as you emerge; you will see the Hotel Ibis sign high up on a highrise building. Head towards Hotel Ibis! Yes, walk along the narrow lanes! Once you’re at the Ibis, you will see Hotel DADA tucked away behind it. Trust me, it makes sense.

It was a double room but I was travelling on my own, so I didn't need more space. It would have been tight for two people but perhaps they have bigger rooms. Some storage space would have been appreciated but other than that I loved this place. The staff was very friendly, you can't beat the location, and it was comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

Beat value to travel Seoul. When using Uber, it's right behind IBIS Ambassador Hotel and super easy find. Wonderful shops and restaurants allied right outside. Breakfast is superb as well. We can't believe we found this place at such a price. Tiny room but super queen size comfortable bed, TV, refrigerator, and WiFi. No hassle getting in and out the place. No better deal in Seoul!!!

Hotel Dada was a genuinely, great place to stay. I must admit that on first entering my double room, I thought that it was rather dark, small, and the bathroom was tiny. However, after a couple of busy days, I looked forward to coming back to the sanctuary of my room. I also, very quickly, got used to the hand held shower. The Hotel is central to the Palaces, Temples and there are also so many things to see within walking distance. The Metro is also very close. Getting lost is the best way to orientate yourself around the neighbourhood. The rooms were cleaned daily and clean towels were also provided daily. The beds were changed very regularly too. The breakfast was basic, however, it was more than enough for me. All of the Staff were polite and friendly however Amy was wonderful. She went out of her way to help me with any of my queries ,even my silly questions. I visited Seoul last year, although I stayed in a different area. The Hotel that I stayed in was more “upmarket” however breakfast was not provided and it was considerably more expensive than Hotel Dada. I am only mentioning this because if I were to visit Seoul again, I would definitely book in at the Hotel Dada.

The Hotel is to the rear of Ibis Hotel and it is noisy, early in the morning, with general deliveries and other services at this hotel. I soon got used to this. Initially I didn’t like the shower however, I got used to it very quickly.
