- Excellent location with a subway stop for Jongno-3 station right outside the door and near many restaurants and cute little shops. There are also a couple of convenience stores that open 24/7 in case you're awaking at 2am fighting jet lag. When my Korean friends visited, they also mentioned that it was a really good location where lots of young folks hang out after work. - AC worked amazingly well during the summer heat - Good amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, vanity kit, complimentary water) - Beautiful rooftop (though it looked smaller than in the pictures) - Super helpful staff Helpful notes: - You can get to the hotel with the airport limousine (like the 6002). It stops <10 minutes away. Or you can take a combination of airport limousine and subway so you can exit right by the hotel (take exit 4) - Make sure you have ample cash to purchase a transit pass and buy stuff from street vendors outside (though if you prefer paying with card, ask them if they accept card before indicating that you have cash). There's a currency exchange machine in hotel just in case.

- The lobby is actually on the roof. So many people were confused during check in... It would be nice if this was mentioned in the welcome/reminder email. - If your neighbor decides to have a concert in their shower, you will definitely hear it

Amazing location: right outside the metro, well-connected, beautiful Ikseondong right accross the street, close to a lot of restaurants and bars. The street comes alive at night, which is a very nice atmosphere but can be loud if you face it. Our room was high enough to have a really nice city view, a bit small but had really comfortable beds and a great bathroom. The staff was accomodating and friendly. I really liked the rooftop as well!

The elevator had one song on repeat, I would suggest a mix instead. Breakfast was not worth the money since there are so many cute cafes around with better options. The lounge music had really lound music which made it difficult to work there (but I was able to do so on the rooftop).

The „Moxy“ has an excellent location: 3 underground lines in front of the hotel, closest to the trendy restaurant/cafe/bar spots Ikseon-ding and Euljiro 3, walking distance to the palaces; the staff is exceptionally nice and helped me with various requests (theatre tickets etc.) — a big thank you!

The location is also loud, since there are stalls and masses of people in the street in the evening (sometimes till 3 am); how much one is affected depends on the room category (the higher the more expensive); the cheapest category also has some problems with loose plug-ins. I have stayed in all categories and would strongly recommend to take a suite or family room, if you are a couple and want smth that feels luxurious (it is on the expensive side but has breathtaking views, is quiet and really spacious).

The rooms are nice , the bed is comfortable, bathroom is clean, the location is perfect in the middle of all attractions and in insadong where everything is around you food, shops, mini markets, subways

My only comment is : Under the bed is not clean it looks like it was never cleaned, we stayed for 8 days and the sheets were never changed !

Great location with direct access to the train right outside the door. You can also walk down the block for a different train line and a few blocks for the airport limousine (bus #6002). Many restaurants and trendy cafes nearby. The room was clean and well maintained. Bed was comfortable and the shower had amazing water pressure. The welcome drink was a nice touch (you can choose between grape redbull, orange juice, or americano. You can also choose to add vodka to the redbull or orange juice). I also like that they have a laundry room (two washers two dryers, and an ironing board) and a place to store your luggage (luggage locker). Staff was welcoming and friendly. Also love that you can check in starting from 2pm and can check out at noon (other places have late check in times and early check out times).

This hotel is perfectly located for those looking for eating at local eateries and visiting traditional sites. The Insadong area is pumping with young and old locals drinking and eating both traditional and modern snacks and desserts. The street in front of the hotel turns into a roadside dining precinct that is lively until 3/4am and is adjacent to the delightful cafe district in the Hanok traditional buildings. Don't be afraid to wander the alleys and enjoy eating in these areas - feels incredibly safe. Also close to the main tourist sites of Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Jogyesa Temple. Metro station just outside the front doors also means adventuring to the other districts is also easy. Hotel room itself is quite roomy for a Korean hotel room and practical but the fitout is very minimalistic modern artistic vibe suitable for young people.

I had such a great stay at Moxy Hotel Seoul Insadong. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Insadong, one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in Seoul, full of traditional shops, street food, and culture. At the same time, the hotel is close to subway stations, making it easy to explore other areas like Myeongdong, Hongdae, and Gangnam. The hotel itself is stylish, modern, and fun — exactly the Moxy vibe! Rooms are compact but very comfortable, clean, and quiet, which is perfect after a day walking around Seoul. The lobby and common areas are super cool, with a trendy bar and social spaces where you can relax or meet other travelers. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming — they made my stay even better. If you are looking for a modern boutique hotel in Seoul near Insadong, with great design, good service, and an excellent location close to shopping streets and traditional markets, this is the place to stay. I highly recommend Moxy Hotel Insadong for both first-time visitors and regular travelers to Seoul.

Excellent location that truly allows you to experience the local community. In the evenings, street food stalls appear right in front of the hotel, creating a lively, cheerful, and delicious atmosphere. It feels much more authentic than the trendier, tourist-oriented dining areas in Seoul. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful, the beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are quiet. There are also plenty of options nearby for enjoying breakfast. The hotel is also very close to the subway, making it easy to reach both the airport and the city’s main attractions. There was nothing I disliked.

The location is spot on, right next to Ikseon-dong and Insa-dong with nice cafés, restaurants and shopping. Within walking distance to the major Palaces, Cheonggyecheon stream, shopping in Myeongdong and also access to 3 different Metro lines right outside the hotell that makes it easy to get around Seoul. The rooms are really good, spaceous with everyting you need. I can recommend watching the sunset from the rooftop bar whilst sipping on something nice to drink.

The location is absolutely banging! There is a metro station right outside, every evening the road becomes a pedestrian street and packed with locals & street food stalls, opposite the hotel there are small lanes into the the infamous ikseondong bukchon village which is also full of fantastic cafes, restaurants & boutiques - super easy to navigate around. The hotel rooms are small but functional - shower & bathroom is decent size. 24hr coffee available and luggage locker / laundry room available. And a roof top bar with killer views. I would say the room is good to share for couples but a little cramp for friends to share. I would stay here again for the location. Staff were also super friendly.
