Nice and modern building close to everything a traveller can need - palaces, shopping streets and markets, restaurants, cafes and little shops. The staff were very kind and the check-in and check-out were completely effortless (our room was ready so we even managed to check in early, but if that's not a possibility, there's also a free baggage locker at the hotel). The room was also clean and neat, though keep in mind that there's not a lot of storage space as it is a semi-double.

The rooms were decently sized and the extra pillow request service was great. Bathroom was clean and came with amenities, however there were no toothbrush/paste sets. The bidet toilet was also a nice touch. Location is great, walking distance to a few subways stations on major lines. There were a lot of food options around the area and the convenience store is very nearby. It was also very easy to access the Airport bus, which was only a short walk from the hotel. The staff were very kind and allowed us to keep our bags in the hotel for more than a day since we stayed for a longer time. I ended up re-booking the same hotel for my last night after domestic travel since the service was great!

The noise insulation was not very good, some nights I could hear guests from other floors laughing loudly into the middle of the night once I turned off the air-conditioning. WiFi was also quite slow and I had trouble streaming YouTube videos.

1. A bit tight room space for a 8 days stay. 2. Location for touristic purposes: 10-15 minutes to the nearest metro station. Very few restauration options near the hotel. 3. We didn't try breakfast. Pictures and information about it were not very appealing. 4. Desk staff help for foreigners touristic needs remains to the basics.

The rooms were clean and conveniently equipped. We had a nice view to the nearby park (although there was a construction site behind it), and the room was pretty quiet at all times. The location is amazing and justified this place above all else.

I'm glad we didn't prebook the breakfast - it was a very underwhelming buffet, and you can find much better breakfast places for cheaper. The AC was oddly located right above the bed, making it a bit uncomfortable to use at night - though I guess that's a personal thing :)

The breakfast was very filling even though it wasnt a big buffet. The room cleaning was very nice, the kind cleaning lady gave me extra water when she saw me refilling my bottles :) I know korean so the language wasn't an issue for me but the reception knew very good english! They let me order a package to the hotel too (you just put your room number in addition to the hotel address). The reception was very helpful with the questions I had.

Since the weather was very hot I had to walk to the metro stations and that was kinda tiring. But there are few bus stops which was very convenient.

Great location with comfortabel bed. The entire team of Nine Tree Dongdaemun is very accommodating and are always ready to help. Subway and (airport) busstop are closeby so it's easy to get around with public transport. They even provide a free transfer from airport to hotel, which was perfect after a 12 hour flight. In need of water? There's a water purifier on every floor and in the lobby. Convenience store is next to the hotel or across the street for easy access to food or snacks. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

Loved the 24 hour work area on the front desk floor along with free coffee. The location is very convenient to get anywhere with the subway station nearby. We walked to a lot of destinations from here. Wifi was good, and rooms were a very comfortable size. Staff put our rooms on the same floor which was much appreciated.

We would recommend getting food at restaurants and markets nearby rather than having the buffet everyday (we didn’t have it but it looked average).

The hotel is conveniently located near the Airport Limousine bus stop and the subway station. Taxis are also easy to catch outside. Our room was extremely comfortable. The bed was moderately firm, and there is a pillow menu. Our room was cleaned every day. There is a communal space on the third floor where reception is if you need hot water, the laundromat or luggage storage. We found walking to the Gwangjang market, the Cheonggyecheon Stream and the Myeongdong area easy enough (about 1.5km - 2km away). There is a great coffee spot at 157 Eulji-ro called Champ Coffee, and some restaurants around it. The DDP is close and there's a good Korean BBQ restaurant there too. The area is nice and quiet at night. There are plenty of 7 Elevens, GM25s and CU markets around where you can buy food, drinks and T-Money cards. Overall this hotel is very comfortable and I'd highly recommend it for a stay in Seoul.
