We had the most wonderful family stay at Hotel Indigo Barcelona from March 29 to April 4, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism that made us feel completely at home. A particular highlight of our stay was the incredible breakfast experience each morning. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and efficient—always greeting us with a smile and going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. With four kids in tow, that kind of genuine hospitality meant a lot. The food was fresh, plentiful, and delicious, with something for everyone in the family. We also want to give a big thank-you to the cleaning personnel, who kept our rooms spotless throughout the stay. Every day we returned to a perfectly tidy and fresh space, which added so much comfort to our trip. Their attention to detail and quiet efficiency did not go unnoticed. The hotel itself is ideally located, stylish, and family-friendly, but it’s the people who truly make the experience special. Hotel Indigo Barcelona exceeded all our expectations—we’ll definitely be back!

Decor, fitness room, mattress and bedding comfort, shower, breakfast, staff

Not enough plug sockets e.g. had to unplug bedside clock to use hairdryer. Couldn’t plug phones in beside bed. 2 spare sockets hidden behind curtains. Light switches hidden behind curtains so had to open curtains to find switches each time. Door lock problematic - took 3 attempts each time to open door. Curtains snagging on the door - design issue. There was maintenance done in the room next door causing very strong chemical smells in my room. When I talked to reception about it, all they could say is ‘it should clear in the night’.

Breakfast was amazing. Rooms have high ceilings, feel very spacious

Bartender had to cook food too! That was crazy. There were 3 people standing at the front desk doing nothing, another bar patron had to go get one of them to help since bar was unattended while our food was being cooked. Also, on check in I asked for one extra towel, I was told no. So for a higher end hotel, that seemed off. Only 2 large towels and 2 smaller towels for 2 people

This was my second time staying here, and I love everything about this hotel. This location remains one of my favorite hotel experiences in Europe. It's very accessible to everything in Barcelona, and it's really well decorated. The rooms are modern and spacious with really high ceilings. I was upgraded when I checked in and got to stay in a king suite on the 1st floor, which meant I had a private patio up against the pool area -- very cool! I appreciated getting that upgrade after they realized I was a returning guests. Speaking of, the staff here are unbeatable. They're genuinely very friendly and will do anything whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. This hotel has many little details too -- water in the lobby, an attached restaurant and bar, a business center, a pool lounge, and even a solarium in the center of the lobby. You can't go wrong with this hotel!

The bathroom was missing tissues. There weren't any USB or USB-c charging ports on the bedside tables.

The rooms were comfortable. They gave us an early check in, but it was a tiny room which they upgraded the next day. Breakfast spread was good. Thank you

The car and drop off cannot access the street in front of the hotel, so we needed to drop luggage at the side street (in the rains) and then walk to the hotel.

+ Location is great, close to almost everything (central, metro, restaurants, stores, etc.) + The hospitality: We were travelling with our kid and got an upgrade to Superior Double Room with terrace towards the Pool side. According the hotel, this is to give our kid more space during our stay. It is extremely appreciated! Thank you very much! + Room was very good, nothing to complain about. We got a surprised upgrade with terrace. Even though we did not use it that much (due to travel time during Feb.) but would imagine it would be of a great fun during summer time. + Breakfast is very good, both in terms of variety and quality.

- Maybe a bit of cleaning detergent smell around some areas.

The location Near the Fiera Was helpful in getting back and forth with heavy congestion The location was near many really good restaurants to take clients to the staff was beyond expectations of any staff of hotels that we have stayed over previously We will stay at this hotel indigo next year

There was not much that we did not like a couple of suggestions is to promote the meeting room more prominently especially during a convention like Fiera also would suggest a small standing heater in the pool area for those of us that come from warm clients

the palm trees , pool , close to restaurants and cafes

for staying one day and night it would have been lovely to use the pool and had it open longer hours.

The location was great. The staffs are very helpful. Kids enjoy the pool though the water was quite cold in summer time.

There was a loud noise and I figure out was from the upper floor when they showered and the motor (probably for heater) turns on. Nothing much the staff can help.

Staff had technical issues with check in but were super cool and calm and professional

Couldn't find access to the solarium above the pool level but I also didn't ask anyone for help, I was just exploring the hotel 😂
