My wife and I and our 2 kids stayed a week at this hotel in one of the apartments near the garden, and had a 5-star experience; from the friendly and super-helpful staff (especially Pedro and Bou), the gorgeous quadruple apartment with double doors and balcony views down to the bustling alleyways and streets below, to the amazing breakfast buffet. And what about the location. So close to Las Ramblas, beaches, metro, shopping, dining. No problem to leave our luggage either when we had some time to burn after check-out and before our flights, and soak up the last few hours in a truly amazing city.

The hotel is really good, we loved the garden for the morning coffe, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff for breakfast was helpful and really effective with their work. Above all the location is perfect. We would like to say thanks to the receptionist who helped us buy the tickets for the Camp Nou visit. He was so helpful and kind. We will recommend the hotel to all my friends and family.

The only thing that could have been batter is the bunk bad for the kids. When we came, I asked the room to be changed so we could have regular bads for the kids. Instead we got the fance, but still I remained a liitle bit worried knowing the retless sleeping style of my children. Still, from the conversation wihj the receptionist, I understood the change was not an option so it could stay only the way the it is, although the bunk bad is not suitable for all the children equally. This is the only small remark, but it worked out at the only tottaly ok, so the fear is of kids falling down is broken. Maybe it turned out to be good thing at the and :-)

I stayed at this hotel and was surprised. At first glance, I felt that booked incorrect property, but when I stepped into the hotel, I realized that the hotel was big and nice inside. The location is perfect, just right at the metro station. In the 500m distance, you reach seaside. Very comfortable rooms, clean. Breakfasts are very good. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. Great personnel. I liked my stay. Highly recommended for short and long stays. I know what to book during my next visit to Barcelona. 5*****. Location just within La Ramble. Restaurants are just in front of the hotel. Train station is just around the corner. Smooth check-in for they have advance online check-in system. Everything is just stone throw away.

We got an apartment for four, this needs improvement on the kitchen facilities and bathroom. Refurbishing it would be great for future guests. Replacing the chiller to a mini refrigerator would be a bonus. Including free water daily would be helpful since water from the faucet is not potable.

The staff were very professional and friendly. Lily who took our orders for dinner and served the meal , Carmen who assisted with the breakfast buffet and Bao who helped us with luggage and directions were exceptional people who made our stay great. They deserve extra praise from management . Location of hotel was great to see many of the tourist attractions in that area of Barcelona.

The room was hot and the air conditioner was not very effective in cooling the temperature of the room. I did not like the fact that guests had to buy water from the hotel as the tap water was not suitable to use.

The staff are very professional and friendly. They arranged taxi services for us, offered excellent recommendations for what to do in the city and responded promptly to our requests. The hotel is well-situated - super close to a key metro stop on the green line that will connect to most major landmarks. This was also one of the only hotels centrally located that could house my family of five comfortably in an apartment-like unit. We had a small kitchen to prep simple breakfasts and two bathrooms. The housekeeping staff were excellent as well. Finally, they were willing and able to check us in about an hour early.

I loved this option. I would stay here again or look for a place in the slightly less busy area of El Born.

Fantastic location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, directly adjacent to La Ramblas. Easy access to Liceu Metro Station. Ground floor, reception, bar & restaurant were beautiful - arranged around a courtyard garden. Service was excellent and breakfast buffet was first class - quality & quantity & value for money. Staff were amazing, very friendly & helpful. Guest rooms were a good size, however they were let down by the tired & worn finishes and furniture (see below).

The upper floors, guest corridors etc., and the rooms desperately needed refurbishment - the wallpaper was peeling, ceiling tiles stained and furniture old and worn. The TV in room was enormous, but only showed four (Spanish language) channels - no international news (BBC World etc.) which we would expect from a 4* Hotel. Breakfast was great, but restaurant overcrowded and had to wait for hot food to be replenished. Waiters did their best, but overwhelmed by guest numbers. The key cards for room entry did not work and had to be replaced on a daily basis - requires investigation. Only one guest lift was working, so a long wait was required for access to our (4th floor) room. Despite these (hopefully constructive) criticisms, we loved staying at this hotel and would definitely return!

reception staff not so good, reported no phone working on 3-4 occasions, 1 member of staff insisted that it had been fixed in a not very polite manner, when it had not, 1 member told me to try it again and if it didnt work dial 9 and tell them ??? , we had to use our mobile phones to get through to reception so they could put us through to the restaurant in which we incurred costs, or walk to reception from room 2303 . We asked for a double bed but got 2 singles pushed together that continued to slide apart , the tv has a very limited number of stations, the bathroom was a bit grubby .

Great location, just 2 mins away from the Ramblas and the metro station. Very convenient to getting to main locations. The hotel is situated in a beautiful part of the Gothic area with a lot of cute stores around. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was amazing, so helpful and attentive. When we asked for a restaurant recommendation we where surprised that the hotel organized a glass of Cava when we were seated. Really thoughtful.

we had a problem with the key reader to the room which was not fixed but other than that all was great.

Beautiful garden was practically useless- upper level no seating/ benches, etc. and lower ground level had somewhat uncomfortable seating with no umbrellas/ no shade. Our two rooms were facing the back of the building where homeless people would yell to one another all night long keeping us all up with their shouts. Both our back doors were too warn off to close tight to insulate the noises from outside. Inside the hotel random guests were very loud until after 3:00am after Friday night. Inside the hotel even right by our rooms upstairs felt as safe as outside the building (not too safe). Looked like anyone could get in if they wanted to. Most hotels have a way of screening traffic to make sure only current guests can pass the front desk.
