We were traveling with a toddler, so we wanted a separate room so he could take naps and go to bed while we could still enjoy the fireplace, balcony etc and the 1 bedroom selection was great. The spa is felt overpriced - even for the Bay Area, but the minerals pools are so good. 24h gym also great and the lobby wine taste was a nice treat! I also want to thank Jesus at front desk, so nice and helpful!

The fee of the spa day use even for guests was quite expensive. In my understanding prior to arrival, the fee for guests was discounted, but not what I have been told at the place. At the time of our visit, the pool bar was not open for the season yet - I did not know they were closed.

The fact that it’s in Sonoma and it’s close to the heart of town. Also, the river stream that ran through the property was nice and all the chairs and tables set up by the gas fireplaces throughout the property offered a hang out spot outdoors

No hot tub, the fact that you had to pay extra to use the hot tub seemed a little ridiculous to me. Also, our room did not come with robes. We had to call for the robes, and then they only brought one instead of two. Online I believe the picture of our suite that we had a clawfoot tub and the tub we got was small and part of the bathroom. It was different than advertised in picture.

The grounds and spa are gorgeous. That’s all I care about and the grounds are so beautiful, that in itself is relaxing

I’ve stayed with you a number of times now, and the food quality and offering has declined. The in room dinner menu is now limited, and though I loved the steak (great job), there were few options to choose from, and one of the salads was overdressed. Same in the spa, one salad came so overdressed we left it in the bowl. The menu at the pool used to be more interesting. For a hotel of your standing, all food should be on point.

The room (although the jacuzzi was broken) was nice. And the food at the hotel was really good, both the snacks we had at the pool and the breakfast.

As I mentioned earlier, we had a room with a jacuzzi that wasn't working. Although they tried to fix it, it appears that the pump was broken so needed more fixing. We opted not to change rooms and ended up not paying the additional fee for the upgraded room.

coming to Fairmont Mission Sonoma often as this place feels warm and welcoming. love comfortable chairs in the lobby, free wine testing, comfortable clean rooms! staff are very friendly, met us with the glass of champagne. restaurant is good for breakfast and dinner, will definitely come again

Beautiful location. Historic hotel. Pastoral grounds. Friendly staff.

There was a steep decline in staffing since the last time I visited. Spa staff were seriously overwhelmed and could not accommodate guest requests. The manager was helpful when I shared concerns but I hope this is remedied because it impacted our spa experience which has been one of the highlights of previous stays.

The location and grounds are lovely. Staff was outstanding. The spa area was fun. Like the spa cafe.d

The rooms are dark. Windows are low and not very big. The restaurant was ok but not outstanding. The staff was very nice, but there were 2 dinner guest that were drinking heavily and very inappropriate at their table.

Lobby, pool, bar, fire pit seating were all great amenities. Cleanliness and responsiveness of the housekeeping staff

The room was really smaller. Much smaller than represented in the photos. This was the one thing that made it feel like the value did not match the expense

Enjoyed the spy but felt we should not have to pay another $49 for a day pass after we were already hit with the resort fee. Surrounding area seems to be lower income and did not feel safe traveling by foot outside of the property.

Extra spa fee on top of the resort fee is a joke.

room was fabulous, sink was clogged, they fixed right away all the bath house services were working, last year the steam room wasn't food was wonderful

wish there was more sun when you sit out. I know it is the time of year, but not enough lounges in the sun. WE got there early 8 am and most were already reserved.
