A beautifully decorated little cottage hidden in a treasure cove of peaceful tranquility. The pictures online do not do justice to how magical these secret cottages are. Walking into the garden entrance feels like walking into something out of a children’s fairytale book. The cottages themselves are stocked with everything I needed and then some. The attention to detail was amazing. The hostess, Karen, went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed and was there to answer any questions we had about our stay. There were many options for drinks and dining just a few minutes walking distance. We ended up eating at the Jack London pub. The food and drinks were both reasonably priced and delicious. This has been by far my favorite place I have stayed in the Santa Rosa area. We will definitely be back, and we’re very excited to hear they are opening up their own bar onsite.
If I had to pick something that wasn’t 100% up to par with the rest of my stay I’d have to say the bed was a little hard for my liking.

Truely everything about it! Beautiful setting. The room was so romantic, from the decor to the steam shower, which my boyfriend loved! The outdoor seating was just so serene! I loved the fact there were only 9 cottages. Small and perfect! The location had everything one would want. On top of its proximity to Sonoma and Kentwood. No need to drive just hop in a Lyft or Uber. While in Glen Ellen no need to drive as everything is in walking distance. Will definitely return!
Nothing!

The cottage was charming and homey. The bed super comfy, cute porch beautiful plants and flowers growing all over the property. Just beautiful. Karen was amazing and very accommodating. We would stay again. We also loved the fireplace!
Our cottage was glass across the entire front, including the doors. Since we were there off season, we were comfortable opening the curtains but if it were busy, we would have been. We will stay again bit would ask for a different cottage.

The cottage was clean and nice. Owner/staff were very easy to work with and professional.
Bed was not very comfortable for me or my wife. Also, the neighbor's (neiboring property off site) dog by our bedroom constantly ran the fenceline and barked in the morning. You couldn't see through the fence, only hear what was happening due to very xlose proximity. That being said, this last issue isn't something this business has any control over and wasn't a deal breaker for us.

We loved our stay in the secret cottages. Well appointed, fun vibe, and a super good location. We ate nearby at the Glenn Ellen Star, and wine tasted at Talisman across the street. In the morning we went for breakfast down the street to Le Pascals, a great French cafe. The best collection of pillows and towels. We had a shower and a large jetted tub in our room. And plenty of fun snacks There was a coffeemaker in the room where we got enough to get us out of the house and on towards breakfast. A cute patio that looks over the river, which we could hear softly all night.
During the winter we were there (Feb 2024), the inn is rebuilding their restaurant and bar. When it is finished they hopefully will offer breakfast as a part of the daily rate at the inn

We really loved the Glen Ellen Inn and Cottages. We loved that Calabasas Creek runs behind the property, and added the soothing sound of moving water. The view from the deck and yard space in our cottage was amazing. The space was lovely and romantic. We loved the jacuzzi tub and steam shower in the room, and a very comfortable bed. Just a small walk to the local grocery store, saloon and breakfast spot. 1 mile to Benzinger Winery where we did tastings, and they give you a 2 for 1 at their sister property Imagery. Close to Sonoma city, but small town quiet and friendliness.
Not really a bad thing... We look forward to returning another time and experiencing the restaurant/bar at the front of the property, after renovations are finished.

Rooms are quiet, cozy and comfortable. Love the fireplace. Great shower. Ooodles of towels. I like that it is within walking distance to a couple of nice restaurants and a little market.
A good reading lamp would be appreciated. The many decorative pillows are cute, but there are too many; there's no place to put them, except on the floor. I wish there were some flexibility in charges. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to leave a day early and would have greatly appreciated a refund on the third night. As most of the other rooms were unoccupied, it's not like the room would have been booked anyway.

I love everything about this beautiful place! It’s very peaceful and just enjoyable to sit outside and drink your wine or tequila is very relaxing. The host was very friendly she greeted us as soon as we arrived. She left me a birthday hat with lots of goodies and coffee. I highly recommend this place this place is definitely a 5 stars ⭐️

Absolutely magical. Like a thicket from a Disney movie without the need for personal tragedy lol. Everyone around there in the neighborhood was friendly (I play a lot of Pokémon go so am out a lot) and all the staff I encountered were boisterous and helpful
The surrounding environment of course, but also that bit of magic that the personalized decorum imbued.

Quiet, romantic, and cozy. Love the view of the creek in the back, the in-room jacuzzi, and the cute quaintness of the property. Parking is easy, not crowded, and very close to the cottages.
My husband did not care for skylight in Cottage 1 because he wanted to sleep in, but I didn’t mind. Cottage 4 is perfection!
