Great (if not the best) place to stay and play in South Beach. It´s obviously an iconic hotel/building and the Staff is really friendly and supportive. We have nothing to complain. The included breakfast is ok. They offer croissants, muffins, toast, jam, a nice joghurt where you can take oranges, apples making it nice. Filter-Coffee, tea and water is also included. We´ve been with our 2 kids (10/16) and they enjoyed everything. Also the restaurant is highly recommended but pricy. We paid for the 4 of us (2 adults with 2 kids) 370$ and we didn´t go crazy at all with what we ordered (kids were also only drinking water). On a separate note: I know tip has to be given and we are more than happy to do so, but found it not professional when getting the bill with automatically having 20% tip added.

Really nothing to complain other than the money you have to spend for an overnight. Rates could be more reasonable. 1.600$ for 3 nights is way too much for a 3star hotel, even we had the nice frontline sea view; understanding it´s the Ocean Drive and an iconic Art Deco Hotel.

The room was in the perfect location. The staff was nice and the room was clean and to my liking. The beach was literally across the street.

The walls are very thin, also at you can hear the air conditioning from other rooms and it was very loud.

Included breakfast was ok with limited options but there was an option to upgrade on any day to the full breakfast menu. This option gave you one hot main and a side for USD15. Tea and coffee is included. As we were staying for 5 days the basic included breakfast became repetitive, so we chose the upgrade for the last 2 mornings. Location of room on 3rd floor was quiet and very bright even though we were not facing the front or beach side of the building. I'm sure this made a difference in ensuring the room was quiet as the street was very noisy especially in the evenings. The hotel is well located at the south end of South Beach. Very close to the beach and restaurants. Staff were excellent. We also ate dinner at the restaurant. Excellent meal and service. Special mention to Manny and Diego at breakfast and Richard at dinner.

Obviously being an art deco building certain aspects of room cannot be changed due to limitations with size etc. Not enough storage. Small closet with small amount of hanging space. The bar fridge was in the closet which further reduced the available space. Bathroom is small but adequate. Small area for toiletries. Shower is over bath.

A classic, stylish Art-Deco hotel in the perfect, central location for everything Miami Beach has to offer. The room was spotlessly clean, as was the whole hotel, with everything needed for a short stay - the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was top notch. The deal offered to residents for breakfast was very welcome as eating out is quite pricey, as you would expect in this high-end location. Complimentary coffee in the morning was a bonus and unlimited filtered water in a re-useable drinks bottle provided by the hotel was a great idea. The hotel was just a short walk to the beach so the beach chairs and towels provided by the hotel were very useful. Definitely a great choice for a Miami Beach stay!

The air-con in the room was a bit noisy, but was obviously an add-on to the classic 1930's room and definitely required with temperatures over 30'C every day. Everything else was perfect!

Perfect location on Ocean Drive. Room comfortable and clean. Excellent soundproofing so no noise at night. Staff helpful and friendly. Nice continental breakfast. Excellent on-site restaurant.

The location was great and they had delicious coffee in the AM. Public paid parking garage was not too far from the hotel. Right in the heart of South Beach with lots of restaurants, the beach across the street and shopping.

Our room faced the wall next door with spotlights that shone into our room at night. For some reason we did not see any room darkener shades but when we mentioned it to the front desk when we were leaving we were told those shades existed as well but we did not easily see them. The hotel is definitely not something”fancy”. It is pretty basic but the location is great and definitely more reasonable cost wise than the more upscale hotels.

The staff! Front desk, restaurant servers, cleaning staff, maintenance, etc. Every employee was friendly, helpful, and professional. They truly made us feel welcome and anticipated our needs. Rooms are very quiet. Hotel was sold out, yet we did not hear anyone else. Location is fabulous. Breakfast was wonderful each day. Lunch was delicious.

There is only one thing missing that would have been helpful to me - a suitcase rack. There is a round pouf in the room that fits a suitcase, but a rack in the closet would have been more helpful to me.

loved the location on south beach all activities and shops including grocery store are nearby... i used valet 45 usd per night but public parking was also available around the corner (it was cheaper than valet)... thanks to Julio for being generous and courteous.. room size was ok .. rooms were clean .. sound proofing was good, i hear no outside noise when windows were closed

Continental breakfast includes crossiants, bread and butter, tea/coffee, youghurt, fruit salad and cereals...no hot meals for me it is as good as no breakfast or like a snack

The hotel is in an excellent spot, I was lucky to have the best room in the hotel with a corner window looking both at the beach and the Ocean Drive. The staff was very nice and helpful, I've made a couple of friends. Special thanks to Rene and Ernie for showing me around the city after their working hours.

The breakfast is not bad, but do not expect anything great. I was more often grabbing something to eat from other places nearby. Also, because the beach is very crowded at times, I understand why people would sometimes prefer hotels with their own pools. This hotel lacked a pool.

Loads … I was greeted by Camilo, who is a class act: elegantly attired, reassuringly experienced, helpful and gracious at all times. The rooms and common areas were meticulously cleaned and the prices sensible for a decent art deco hotel. Pleasantly surprised that two small bottles of water are placed in the room daily. The dinner menu varied and reasonably enough priced compared with others on Ocean Drive (and they haven’t succumbed to using gaudy menus with colour photos!). Compact but nice bar in the front and evening guitar entertainment outside. Breakfast selection was straightforward, but enough. Always fresh apples, oranges and bananas as well as a good selection of bagels, bread and croissant - it was overseen by a lovely lady. Beach towels are available on request, as are foldable chairs to avoid the extortion of the beach hire crews! My room had a small fridge which was effective and helpful. Bathroom and shower all fine. Bedding crisp and looked quite new.

Not much. Inevitably the age of such hotels means that some doors and furniture / fixtures may appear weathered, but the hotel is kept cleaned and well-maintained. Minimal warm food at breakfast ie scrambled egg and sausage patty. The rooms are not awash with electric points but there was a spare under the bedside lamp. Hanging space is basic and compromised by ironing board, safe and fridge, although these are all useful
