Wonderful hotel just off the beach, with a large and cool reception. and fresh cold water available which is welcome on returning to the hotel in the temperatures. Rooms are large although the bed was strangely quite small, and room was quiet. Pool is small but a great ambience with a bar and quiet music, super service and you can see the sea from the pool. I used the gym which was also cool and adequate for a quick workout. Great service from David, Domingo and Sandra, Good breakfast in the lovely garden area. We also used the free access to the Wynwood Walls gallery in Miami proper. It all felt very safe in the area which is a plus.

Some of the other staff were a little grumpy to say the least. Some might be bothered by the slow elevator which was out of action at least twice in our stay although we were happy to use the stairs.

The location was excellent and being just one street off of ocean drive on Collins ave the hotel was much quieter at night than other hotels I have stayed in the area. The hotel is a little older, but has been thought fully updated. It is close to many shops, restaurants, beach etc. Staff was pleasant and accommodating and provided some recommendations for food in the area. Beach chairs and towels included was a really nice bonus. Pool area was nice but we spent most of our time on the beach. Good value for price!

Elevator was slow and took you for a ride to some random floors on the way up/down (take the stairs if you are able, there are some cool old photos in the stairway). Rooms were sufficient but on the smaller size, however they did have good storage options built in.

I booked the Tony during the Art deco weekend. Rooftop pool was excellent. Towels provided as well as views over South Beach! The Concierge Jamie was exceptional and made our visit very enjoyable. We were able to check in slightly early which was good and Jamie looked after my luggage all day following checkout due to an evening flight. We were permitted to use the facilities even after checkout including being able to shower before the flight. Sunbeds and towels also provided for South Beach which was a very nice touch. I will definitely be back at The Tony Hotel.

The rooms are getting a bit tired and could do with refurbishment in the not too distant future.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Before arriving I had called to request early checkin for both of our reservations, and I was informed they would do their best but no guarantees, but we could use the pool and store our luggage while waiting. Lily and Masma and the front desk bell team were excellent. We also received 2for1 drinks and a discount in the restaurant. We appreciated that we received our room at a decent time. The room (ocean view king deluxe) was spacious and well appointed. My only dislike of the room was the lack of "ocean view", it was more of a "around corner- peekaboo" view. During our two Individual one- night stays, we had cocktails at the lobby bar during happy hour, ate breakfast in the Wish Cafe, enjoyed relaxing at the rooftop pool, and had two meals at the attached News Cafe (20% discount). Everything was excellent and all service was friendly and professional. The location is excellent, in the heart of South Beach, and we would stay there again.

Great little hotel! We stayed in a suite which was sizable and had modern appliances. The roof top pool area was awesome! Everything is on our doorstep! The complimentary fruit basket was an unexpected treat. Couldn't fault anything!

Consider this is a lively neighborhood and can be noisy for some. Staying on the Collins Av side is quieter.

Everything! We were really pleased with the Premium Suite room and all the space we had. I don’t know why more people aren’t talking about that specific room. Everyone on the staff was so friendly & welcoming. The facilities were fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay & highly recommend.

We would have preferred to stay in the main building on Collins Ave. Staying on Ocean Drive & having to walk around the building to get to all the facilities was a minor inconvenience, but we were prepared for this. Another minor issue was that the ice machine was broken our entire stay. We could have called for someone to bring us ice but felt that was a bit ridiculous to do every single day. It would also be helpful to add an ice machine to the Ocean Drive building.

Great stay in one of the family rooms at the Hotel (we were in the second bit facing the beach but first is the next building over so close by). Very spacious two room set up with three beds and with bathroom - really recommended. Well equipped with bar fridge, safe, decent furnishings and quiet despite being right on the main beach and centre of the lively South Beach vibes. Pool great and staff at hotel helpful particularly concierge who was warm and friendly. News Cafe downstairs was great food albeit pricey (as you would expect right on the beach). Perfect for South Beach experience with family.

Bathroom could have been cleaned a lot better. Room faced the alley (but having said that - meant it was quiet at night too)!

I enjoyed my stay here. I was in the Collins building with a room backing onto a side street. There was very little noise from the bars and clubs, it didn't bother me at all. The welcome on arrival was friendly and the lobby was nicely scented and air conditioned. Air conditioning worked well in my room too. I had breakfast one day at The News cafe (using discount for Tony guests) and enjoyed it. On departure I was allowed to leave luggage for a few hours and also to use the shower and bathrooms.

Location and pool. The service was excellent.

The pool closes too early. As guests, we should be able to eat our own breakfast next to the pool in the sun. Unfortunately, no outside food or drinks are permitted. In a restaurant, this rule is reasonable but not for the guests of your hotel. Breakfast is not included and the price is high. No parking is included. They charge $28 a day for parking in a public lot (no limit on daily in and out) 1 block away. If you don´t need to go in and out of the parking more than once a day--you can park in the same lot for only $20 a day.

Close to bars/restaurants. Concierge Jamie was very helpful.

Just felt our room in the separate block did not feel part of the Tony Hotel. The view of Ocean drive was amazing but our room was directly over the News Cafe, music started at 8.00am till late, which was ok during the day when we went out but a bit “boom boom” later at night. Hence the earplugs supplied by the hotel, but overall the room was big and lots of clean towels provided each day.
