The location is amazing. Luckily, for me it was within walking distance to anything I could've possibly needed. I was able to walk to my events within 15mins. Everyone I talked to on the staff was super friendly and very professional. I didn't hear other rooms and the street noise was surprisingly low. The fridge, tv setup, and usual amenities were fantastic.

It really sucked to find out this was the only Marriott in Newark without an airport shuttle after catching a bus and the air train to the other side of EWR. The bathroom was rough. The shower curtain was too short, so the floor got soaked every time I showered and the ceiling was covered in old rusty water marks. Ultimately, It's the beds. Neither of the two beds in felt like they had any support in the middle. Considering this is my 4th Courtyard stay in 18 months and I had to play Goldie Locks at two different locations...I'm starting to think ya'll have a major problem. Or maybe I missed the mattress preference button on my profile. In any case it wasn't great sleep at any of them.

The location is fantastic if you are attending an event at Prudential Center. It is very close within walking distance plus there are also various restaurants in the surrounding area plus Newark Penn Station is only a 10 min walk away. The surrounding area was quiet as well and safe

The Starbucks location at the hotel could have been better in terms of actually providing better amenities. My friend order a cold brew but it ended up being made from the bottle you can purchase at the super market not from the machine. When I tried ordering a coffee to go there was no lids available. Just seemed to be an inconvenience for a Starbucks location.

Every day house keeping,being able to find parking , breakfast Ms tr bucks available. Also stuff securing pitches delivered to the property.

Online the pictures of the property being downtown looked o good. We were excited until we got there . It's a lot of vagrants and the surrounding restaurant selection was not good. The breakfast selection is expensive and selection not that great. I wanted turkey sandwich with lettuce that was not possible.Also one of the securities in the parking area needs customer service classes. When you speak to people sometimes it's not what you say things but how you say it. He didn't listen speak down / or over you. Cutting you off or disregard what you are saying. But the hotel inside and the staff made me over look that.

I like that the hotel is directly connected to The Prudential Center, which is why I stayed there to begin with. We went to see AEW Full Gear which was amazing, & so was the hotel. This is the second time I did this in 2024 for AEW events at The Prudential Center & chose this hotel both times. Definitely will do it again next time AEW is heading back to Newark.

I did not like that I had to use my phone as a hotspot for wifi, so they could improve the wifi. I also thought it was lame that there was no microwave in the room but that's not a deal breaker for me.

The room is big for a hotel (like 3x bigger than we had in New York). The beds were good. The location is amazing if you need Prudential Center. All in all it was a good stay.

The breakfast included is just one item from Starbucks, they didn't even let me have both yogurt and sandwich. There is a possibility to go to the Arena directly from the hotel, but somehow no one could clearly explain how to do it.

Loved the way we were able to park next to hotel. Also that we could connect to Prudential Center through a covered walkway.

Loved that Starbucks was on property BUT it should be open 24 hours or at least day and night hours. It really isn't setup to service the entire hotel as the only restaurant especially being open only for Breakfast from 7-11. There was a long line and only two people working. A Breakfast Buffet would better serve the restaurant.

Staff were really nice the 2 ladies were absolutely dolls. They couldn't find my booking at first and they navigated me to find my booking. Free breakfast at Starbucks was a perc. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable the staff around the hotel were pleasant. Free parking was a breeze and he was nice too and informative. The small 2 min walk to the prudential center was so easy and convenient.

The room was comfortable. The location is convenient for the Prudential Center. But a few blocks away seemed a little unsafe.

I still don't know the exact cost of the room. Upon arriving, the front desk person informed me that the cost of the room was $209 + $50 incidental, which would be returned to me.upon check out. At check out, another front desk person told me that the cost was before tax, and I would get $50 back to my card... Which has not happened. Will be calling the hotel tomorrow.

Great location, we bought tickets for a concert in Prudential Center and love the ability to just walk the hall without the hassle of finding a parking spot or getting out afterwards.

Very expensive, limited options inside the hotel for food. Coffee machine was dirty. Staff is not necessarily friendly. Lack of info when it comes to the parking. Be aware is not free but this is not clear if you book through Booking.com They also charged my room for room service when they do not have room service and the coffee I purchased was paid on the spot. I called them to inquire about these charges and the rep I got was rude and kept inhaling and exhaling like he was aggravated. I was only inquiring about these charges and did so with grace even though he was not nice at all. Kept saying the parking rate is on their website but I reserved through Booking, not them.

The best part about this hotel is its proximity to the Prudential Center and Newark Penn Station. The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff is friendly and does a good job of making the hotel feel secure, and the breakfast at the hotel restaurant is a good deal.

The elevators can get crowded with people going to or coming from the Prudential Center.
