This hidden treasure has made some serious updates, including a new pool area that was amazing during the 4th of July weekend. It had almost a Vegas vibe (see pics). Guest services was good and able to help when needed. The extended parking is convenient! Highly recommend this place if you're in town for the weekend. Great views and amazing people!

It's a little off the path, and the hotel does not run the pool club.

The room and the view were amazing and the staff very flexible and helpful. Definitely will return whenever I’m in town for business.

Although I never felt in danger, the streets around are a bit empty at night, but nothing to do with the hotel.

I don’t like for a hotel of this magnitude why in the world the TV are not smart tv even motels have that . The rooms are time to be updated it is time.. the pillows can be better I stay here a lot and I like it but it time . Nobody wants to be watch tv from there phone cause the tv is not smart ..

Nice view from the room, staff are friendly

The floor tiles are broken in many places, and there are no dining options available at the hotel or nearby. Additionally, the hotel is quite expensive. I paid almost $400 for a night, and they don't even provide a complimentary bottle of water.

I love that it had a balcony and view of the city was great.

I didn't like the fact there is a techno outdoor club that is very loud which makes it very difficult to relax and watch tv.

The vibe at the Ravel is very positive. You are greeted by friendly faces from the valet,the front desk clerk,and even housekeeping. We love having a balcony. We've stayed several times and we enjoyed the most recent room with the views of the city skyline. The last time we stayed, we had views of the rooftop pool, which wasn't bad either. We listened to music and enjoyed the event they were having that night. We love that there is on site parking for a reasonable price. The room are clean, modern, and spacious. We have stayed here several times due to having to travel for medical appointments. I plan on staying here every time we visit if available.

Plan on walking a lot. There isnt many food choices within a less than 15-minute walk. However, the Ravel does have a coffee machine in the lobby thats pretty could.

Excellent location with beautiful views of Manhattan. Great and helpful staff.

No restaurant onsite. The lighting was soft in general.

I booked a superior king room, which was a really good-sized room, a fantastic wrap around balcony, with amazing views over Manhattan and Queens. The staff were very helpful and polite, and the bed was huge and comfortable, I would definitely stay there again if I'm back in NYC.

The only real issue that I would have to mention is the AC fan. It was so noisy I actually turned the AC off. Luckily, it wasn't hot, so it was not a problem for me, and there were a few midnight boy racers in cars giving it beans, with popping and cracking exhausts at 3.00 and 4.00 am, but that not the hotels fault, the only other thing to be aware of, is the distance to the nearest Underground MTA, it's about a 15 minute walk.

Overall great time no real complaints. Wish we had a better view but that's no too say that my view was bad. I would have just preferred if my balcony wasn't facing the eye level view of this major bridge crossing . But still great room balcony and staff.

The only draw back was I guess the completely random and unexpected street construction repair that happened to start shortly after our arrival. So due to the how close the hotel is to the Midtown-Manhattan bridge connection heavy construction or street servicing repairs with loud noise should be considerer taking into consideration in room choice for view and noise purpose

It was a really nice room. The bathroom was a shower, tub, and toilet all sorta separate but nice. The beds were really comfortable. There was a digital check in that was really easy to do. The room was fancy looking

A few complaints. We got there late and were told there was no parking. Weird cause its included but ok. The valet told us try after midnight. We moved the car at midnight because the neighborhood is dark and kinda sketchy as there isnt much else around. We go into the parking lot and the valet tells us to double park the car and leave the keys inside at the front desk. We double park and the guy at the front desk tells us to move into handicap but someone ended up moving into the spot. Not his fault but kinda frustrating as it was late. Our bathtub had hair in it and it was really hard to get hot water. I had to run the bathtub and then the shower to get it to heat up.
