I liked the beautiful smile on the face of the young lady who checked us in. Everything smelled clean and was clean. The breakfast display was very attractive and there were so many choices...all good! The lady at the desk when we left had a beautiful smile, too. We will be back!

I can't think of anything to grumble about. Barboursville could teach a lot to the young man on the desk in Staunton, VA. A smile and a kind word mean so much when a traveler comes in exhausted from fighting the road. Barboursville has a crew who know how to please!

Room was very clean, breakfast was good. Beds are very nice..

The web says this hotel has a pool and a hot tub. There is a pool. No hot tub. Why is it still being shown? The attendant told us it was removed "yrs" ago. Booking.com has no customer service number which is bs. I would have 100% canceled my stay as soon as we got there. We are very disappointed, I will no longer use a 3rd party booking..

All staff were very kind and looked clean ready to work. We stayed in room 105. Oct 1 - Oct 4 had to get more towels and witnessed staff cleaning tub actually scrubbing tub and toilet (rm 107). Seeing this room being cleaned this well was a wonderful surprise. All staff were very nice and kind. The grounds themselves were very clean, no trash on ground. Everything inside and out very clean. Restaurants close by mall within walking distance. Just a great motel experience

If I had to complain it would be about the breakfast. Would have liked more hot breakfast choices

Staff was very accommodating and helpful

No garbage removal or fresh towels daily. We were told they do on 3td day, of stay, which was our checkout. We asked for towels and tp at desk and they were given. But seems odd that not part of the regular routine. Especially with 4 people in room

The pool was nice and the property seemed to be in a safe location. The staff kept it very clean.

The facilities were dated. Carpet needs replaced in hallways, the office chair in my room had a LARGE rip in the seat with the stuffing sticking out. I wouldn’t sit in it. Come early for breakfast it runs out.

I liked the location of the hotel, it was near where we had planned our vacation. Our rooms was clean and quiet, the staff was great in help with some questions for the area. The breakfast was great at the hotel.

Great location to stay. Staff was very friendly. The lady that worked around 9pm on Friday evening march 21 2025 is exceptional... she goes above and beyond and works her butt off. I think she deserves a raise.

I loved the area. The staff was wonderful. We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. They had complimentary cookies and lemon water out in the lobby each day. We slept well because the beds were comfy and it was quiet.

Sometimes the toilet would run until we wiggled the handle. When leaving, we noticed tiny ants in our room by the tv.

The room was clean, could have been a little cleaner, but it was nice. We stayed for one night. The beds were comfortable. The pool was fun too, I liked that the whole pool was all 3ft (3ft and 8 inches I think) deep, safer for kids. Pool was also warm/comfortable. Front desk staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was good too with muffins, pastries, waffles and coffee. Check-in was easy too!

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like, the room could have been a little cleaner. But aside from that, everything was great.

Everything was great. Very clean small right at the mall and lots of eating places around.

Parking lot was little small but again it was a small hotel. Other than that nothing was bad
