I loves the location. I loved how Gino (think the owners name was), he was very accommodating to any inquiry. He was very kind. The price was decent. It had hot breakfast and juice and the staff was very kind and she did well keeping up with a busy routine.

The pool was a little weird. I think it needs new filtration system. We swam the one day but the second day it had some weird stuff in it and didn't want to take a chance no offense. I would come back tho and also would consider swimming haha No worries and thank you!

Great location. Great breakfast. Late checkout @12. That extra hour goes a long way. Side doors actually worked. If you parked on the side you didn't have to go the front. Pool opened until 11 for kids, and 1130 for adults. I love the adult only pool times. This place was quiet too. Also let us stay parked after check out for a day at kings Dominion. Definitely will be back.

We had a family of 5 yet we only got 4 wash clothes and towels. When we requested more they claimed they didn't have anymore.

The had Toothpaste. We forgot and they had travel size tube that the gave to us.

Some repairs needed and cleaning not quite thorough. There was trash under the bedskirt and hair on the shower wall and soap scum build up along the sink faucet, thick dust on the headboard and vents.

The room was a good size and AC worked. The shower was amazing- good pressure and hot water. Really appreciated the friendliness of the manager when we checked in. Also appreciated being put on the front side of the hotel due to the train. I never heard it when I was sleeping.

The AC rattled a lot. But- it was somewhat good background noise. The towels left a bit to be desired. The beds were a it soft for my liking, but some may like that. I would also put more outlets on both sides of the beds if renovating or remodeling. This may not be the hotel's fault, but we never went to the pool because there were so many people in it and it was a bit warm.

Breakfast was very good, eggs, bacon, sausage and waffles hot food choices. Cereal, muffins, bagels and yogurt cold choices. Walking distance to KD and plenty of hotel parking available. Bed very comfortable, ac works well, shower water psi good and water is hot..

No mirror directly in front of the bathroom sink (ROOM 105).

Room was at 59 degrees when it was 52 degrees outside. Room would not heat up fast enough so it stayed cold at around 62 degrees with the heat on 80. Curtain or blinds did not work properly. They would not close. Good thing we were facing the backside of the hotel towards the railroad tracks and not on the first floor. Granted we arrived late and left early so the room was the most important thing. Breakfast was great with the choices and was able to keep me full until I left my appointment.

The gentleman at the desk was very patient and helpful when I misplaced my entry card, needed a hair dryer, and had questions. The king studio suite is very large, and the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. It was nice to have both a refrigerator and a microwave in the room.

The room needed another lamp, on the desk, so seemed a bit dim. The bathroom needed more space for hanging towels, since there was only one small hook on the back of the door plus the shower rod. Very convenient to Kings Dominion and I95, but nothing else with miles but a 7-Eleven and a Burger King.

Room could have been cleaner. There were items on the floor that were there from previous guest. The bathroom was clean

Breakfast every day was super, and the hotel was across the street from the park, which was a big plus! The room was clean and neat, which was very comforting after getting off the I-95 traffic. A good array of TV channels with movies and series constantly airing.

There wasn't much I didn't like. The only complaint per-say would be the pool. There was a decent-sized indoor pool, but the water was frigid. It was enough to jump in and then immediately get out.

The location was perfect for our 2 day visit to Kings Dominion. The hotel is located across the street from the Park. The free breakfast was better than expected & the Gormet coffee is excellent. Our room had 2 comfortable queen beds. (Good pillows). Shower was hot!!TV worked and we could see our car from the window. However, the room could really use some dusting and a little paint. The pool was closed due to issues and our key card did not work from the gym. No biggie. Overall we had a good stay.
