A traditional hotel with most of the services and facilities we wanted for our three-night stay. Our room (107) was on the ground floor and had an external door - handy for taking out our dog. The room was quiet, spacious and had a chair and two stools, fabulous air-con and a great bathroom (whopper bath). I had breakfast once - it was plentiful; we had dinner twice, seated in the courtyard - the menu was very ‘of the region’ with potato, cheese and bacon featuring extensively. The hotel was busy with guests, and the restaurant always had plenty of people at lunch and dinner times - unsurprisingly so. The car park accessed from a road behind the hotel was extensive and had shaded areas, and the lawns were ideal for early morning and late evening dog-walking. The staff were truly excellent - friendly, courteous and helpful. The location was good - just a minute’s walk from the pedestrianised mediaeval centre, yet within a minute’s drive from the roads leading elsewhere in this attractive wine region,

Just two sachets of coffee for our entire (3-night) stay - and a note to say replenishments were available at 1.5€ each; at the very least, I would expect two sachets per diem. Paper cups … so bring your own mugs (and supplies).

Our experience at Hotel La Ferme du Pape was excellent, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the charming village of Eguisheim. We stayed in a suite for five people with breakfast and were very satisfied. The suite was spacious, clean, and well-equipped — perfect for a family. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom spotless and functional. Although the hotel has a traditional style, everything was well-maintained and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. We had our dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Dinner choices were very traditional and portions literally generous. Breakfast was generous, with a good variety of sweet and savory options: fresh pastries, local cold cuts, cheeses, yogurts, and quality coffee. The staff were polite and helpful, offering us useful information about the area and making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location is one of the hotel’s biggest strengths: right in the heart of beautiful Eguisheim, with easy access to the village’s sights and an ideal base for exploring the Alsace wine route.

A charming little hotel with a cozy atmosphere. One of the big advantages is the private parking space behind the hotel - very convenient! Breakfast was quite good, and there was air conditioning in the room, which worked well - especially important since the weather was hot during our stay. The hotel was pleasantly quiet, though that might have been good luck with peaceful neighbors. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Quaint, nicely decorated, cozy hotel a few steps from the centre of the village. Very friendly staff and I enjoyed my stay very much. Good value for money! Would love to go back!

I liked everything, though i was glad i had my own pillow.... the hotel ones were very high and quite hard, so my friend had to construct hers from spare clothes..... Easy to find the car park! Thank you!

Carrying luggage up two flights of stairs was not easy but gave me a workout! It seemed difficult to just get a drink in the evening if you were not eating. They didn't seem keen for you to sit in garden if you were not eating even though you were a guest there.

The girl at the reception was super caring and friendly!!! She gave a free upgrade for a room with air conditioning because it was boiling hot outside and made our stay most pleasant!

I would recommend to send the directions to a parking spot before arrival as it would definitely save time and traffic to the centre of this charming village!

Wonderful overnight stay, large, clean and spacious room and bathroom. Easy parking at the rear of the hotel for motorcycles and an easy short walk to the amazing fairy tale village.

There are not that many eateries in the town that are open later in the evening, so book ahead for the hotel's restaurant if you want to eat.

We have visited Egishim several times, but we have never stayed at this hotel. We are pleasantly surprised. The location is great, as is the service. The food is good. There is parking, which is important to us.

The room was on the first floor and overlooked the restaurant, so we had to keep the curtains closed.

We enjoyed the hotel rear garden, parking was excellent, evening meal in the dining room very nice. Most of all, the staff were all very nice people that did their best to make our stay wonderful.

I chose a budget room, and I should have paid more to have a room with windows. I was offered the only upgrade that was vacant at the time, and decided to keep the room I reserved. Our travel companions had an upstairs room overlooking the street that was very much what I would normally prefer. This outcome was my mistake.

Beautiful hotel, great location, very kind staff. Would highly recommend!

If I’m trying to find something to suggest, some of our pillows weren’t great, with 4 in the room (but yo can’t please everyone!). And the walls were a bit thin, but we understand it’s an older building, which is part of the charm.
