The friendly and very helpful staff - everyone was exceptional. The shower was lovely, room was very clean, location is absolutely superb. We walked everywhere and found it easy to reach everything we wanted to see. Walking times to some of our destinations were - Eiffel Tower (40 mins), Louvre (25 mins), Notre Dame (40 mins), Place de la Concorde & Champs Elysees (12 min) - Hope this helps.

We had a very pleasant stay at Best Western Plus Hotel Sydney Opera. The building is historic, but it has been beautifully renovated, combining classic charm with modern comfort. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile their hospitality truly made a difference. While the location is central and close to many attractions, it might feel a bit confusing for first-time visitors to Paris. However, once familiar, it offers convenient access to shopping areas, cafes, and public transport. Overall, a charming hotel with excellent service. Would gladly stay here again

It may technically be an American chain, but it feels like a European boutique hotel. Like most of Paris, the rooms were small, but no trouble for 2 people to move around. More importantly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and nicely decorated, with modern bathroom fixtures. The staff members were very friendly, welcoming, and super helpful when we had questions or needed recommendations. The location is fantastic - close to Gare St. Lazare, and an easy walk to the Galleries Lafayette, Palais Garnier, the Siene River and even the Eiffel Tower. But it's on a side street, with a lovely park on the next block, so felt quiet and tucked away. I would love to stay here again.

Great location in the heart of Paris, 5-minute walk to Gare de St. Lazare, a major transportation hub with trains, metro lines, and RER; next to Haussmann Boulevard, home to all the Grands Magasins, including Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, and Monoprix, as well as numerous restaurants and coffee shops, the Opera and La Madeleine. We stayed in a “Classic Double Room,” equipped with modern and comfortable amenities. The bed was excellent, perfect lighting, reading lamps and convenient charging outlets for smartphones. We appreciated the good bathroom, with a great shower and a towel heater. The breakfast offered was rich and good. The staff were exceptionally nice, helpful, and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future.

I loved that it is equally distant from all Paris important tourist destinations and at St-Lazar you can get a metro or train to literally everywhere. I loved the staff - so friendly and helpful, available 24 hours and always smiling. I loved the size of my room - spacious and comfortable with anything you can think of - large wardrobe space, modern safe, ironing board and an iron, good quality toiletries, fluffy towels, good coffee and good quality coffee machine, two types of pillows for every taste, good quality beds, large TVs, great quality Internet, comfortable furniture, exceptionally clean rooms and crisp white sheets. My stay was made really enjoyable by booking this hotel and I would recommend it to everyone. In addition there are great restaurants and cafes in the area, bakeries and super markets as well so you can spend a lot or a little for your meals. And the hotel is short walk from Galleries Lafayette.

Everything was great

The hotel is situated in a beautiful area, accessible to public transportation, and a walking distance to main attractions. Even though the room is small it has everything you need, with a Nespresso coffee machine. It's pretty and clean and the bed is super comfortable, the bathroom is spacious for the room size. But what make the hotel exceptional is the staff, everyone was caring, informative, and professional. I learnt that their staff work long hours but only 4 days per week, and everyone has a long weekend for 3 days, I think a business that treats their employees fairly should always have our unwavering support. Thanks to everyone, especially Madison, who helped me to get to the train on time, and even offered us water for the trip. Looking forward to staying at the hotel again soon.

Staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was clean and provided with all the necessary amenities plus plenty of extra ones. Hotel was quiet and peaceful. Convenient location in the 8th arrondissement a short walk from the Place de la Concorde and the Saint-Augustin Metro station, from where everywhere else is easily accessible. Good value for a hotel in central Paris in June. Wide range of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. Hotel Sydney Opera would definitely be on the shortlist for any future visit to Paris.

A very nice hotel — we stayed for just one night but would have gladly stayed longer. Great location, very friendly and pleasant staff. We arrived a bit before the official check-in time, but our room was ready and we were able to check in right away. The room was small (which is typical for Paris) but comfortable, clean, and quiet. Breakfast is available for an extra cost and was very good — not just the standard coffee and croissant, but also hot options like omelets, scrambled eggs, and more.

Everything was perfect

It is one of the most amazing places I have stayed. The location is perfect, and the room facilities are all good and clean. Communication is smooth and we got early information prior to our stay. We also got a quiet room as requested. Overall, it definitely beat my expectations. The hotel personnel are the best. They are very friendly, helpful and kind. During the stay, my son was sick and we received warm help and greetings from many of them.

Our stay was wonderful! The staff were so lovely and helpful, and everything was very clean and comfortable. Location was great - very close to central areas (walkable or by metro). Room was small but the bed was a large size however as it was a city break we were mostly out and we never felt like the room was too small. The bathroom was a very decent size. Aircon was a big plus in Paris summertime. Also very secure, you cannot enter hotel unless staff lets you in and they keep your key whilst you are out. They also provide safe box for the room to keep your valuables. We were also given use of the minibar which we really appreciated. Breakfast was really good too. The hotel is about 5 stories high and lift is quite small. The lift only goes up to floor 4 and we were on 5th floor so we had to climb last flight of stairs. For us this was not an issue but others may not like to be on the 5th floor for this reason. Marco (the receptionist when we arrived at 11pm) helped us up to the room and was so helpful with our questions. No complaints and they made our stay easy and comfortable!
