Alex was amazing and truly went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Having never stayed in a hostel before, I was a bit apprehensive when I arrived and found myself in a female dorm. Alex quickly noticed that the dorm setting wasn't for me and took time out of his day to help upgrade my room to a private one. He was super nice and lovely throughout the entire process, ensuring I felt comfortable and welcomed. Additionally, the rest of the staff were super friendly and always ready to help with any questions or concerns. Their combined efforts made my stay enjoyable and stress-free. I can't thank Alex and the team enough for their exceptional service.

The hostel staff was very friendly and helpful. Reception was open at all times.

The common facilities (dining room, entrance would benefit from renovation). The room was in a very good state and nicely decorated.

Nice place to catch some shuteye without having to spend an arm and a leg (considering it's Paris). Really well connected to the public transportation network (metro station and bus stop just down the street). I got to the Eiffel Tower in no time. The historic building where the hostel is located has the air (or aura) of something right out of a novel by one of the great French writers from the 19th century: Hugo, Flaubert, Dumas, or Balzac.

Did not have time for much interaction with other people there: I'm sure they're all fine, decent people, except for the bas… Guest who snatched my bed while I was out, visiting the Eiffel Tower. He stole my towel too. Used! Luckily, I was given two towels as compensation by the super friendly and nice reception guy. Beware – the lift is very cramped and claustrophobic

As a single female traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable in the studio room. It was very private and quiet with the exception of some noise from the street outside at night (soft earplugs at night did the trick!). It was nice to have a somewhat private outside patio space (shared with one other studio- although each studio has their own seating area) along with the private kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave) and Nespresso machine with stocked coffee pods. There is a grocery conveniently across the street - great to pick up a few essentials. I had never booked a hostel before and my expectations were far exceeded not only for the room, but also the close proximity to the metro. This was a great location for exploring not only Montmartre but also all of Paris. The shower was great - good water pressure and never ran out of warm water. There was a wonderful air conditioning unit in the room. The WiFi was efficient. The bed & pillows were comfortable.

Was truly a great stay. My only critique is that the door lock was a bit tricky to use. It worked fine, just difficult to get the key out at times.

The room was super cleaned and tidy. The building has is like 100 years old, so it makes a complete real experience in Montmart. We really loved the place. We rent an apartment but the hotel is just the next building. Quite place, it feels safety. WiFi works perfect. The apartment have all what you need to spend some days in Paris.

Probably, just the stares. It’s a problem if you have mobility issues, like I do. The apartment in the pictures is not the one you’ll see. It looks better, but the description doesn’t mention it’s in a separate building. The first impressions were shocking.

Alex checked me in, and remembered I wanted to practise my French and was friendly whenever I saw him. Other staff were also really friendly and helpful. The hostel was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for what I wanted to do (visit Moulin Rouge and Montmartre in general) and was conveniently close to several metro stops for when I wanted to head elsewhere. Really good breakfast. Free wifi. It wasn't too noisy but it was also easy to meet people in the dorm and common areas. Lockers for valuables in the dorm were great, providing you had a long shackle padlock, which thankfully I did! Free baggage storage if you need it before/after check out. All in all it was excellent. I would happily stay here again.

Very minor issues in the ensuite bathroom: the sink was very slow to drain, there was no soap and the hairdryer was one of those wall ones that should stop when you replaced the handheld bit, but it wouldn't stop and sometimes would start by itself. The bathroom lock was also not 100% effective.

Really amazing comfortable bed. (as good as home). Staff were all lovely, particularly young Nelson, who was vibrant and helpful! We loved the opportunity to meet other guests in a relaxed manner on the shared balcony. Breakfast was simple, but enough and always well organised A deciding factor for this accommodation was price and we felt we got good value for our money compared to other accommodation venues in Paris.

Nothing really! We thought the area looked a bit dodgy on arrival, but always felt safe. The position was great, very close to trendy Montmarte's shops and eateries.

Great vibe on the place and really nice staff :)

There was a guy that snored like a tractor

This hostel truly stole my heart—I can’t wait to return. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the entire space was cozy, clean, and peaceful. The dorm room was very comfortable, and even though I was given a top bunk at first, I was able to switch to a bottom bunk the next day with no problem. Beds were comfy, and someone came to clean the room daily. You even get free towels, which is rare in hostels! The outdoor terrace area was such a gem—even when it rained, it felt magical. I loved being able to sit out there, eat, or just chill with others. The kitchen was small but super charming—very artistic and full of character. It felt like home.

There wasn’t a charging outlet near the upper bed, which made things a little tricky, but thankfully my cord reached from a lower plug. It would be nice if they added one above. Otherwise, no complaints at all!

Incredible location. Very close to Eurostar and metro train stations. Can see Sacré-Coeur from the deck area! Clean sheets and aircon made for a comfortable sleep with the heat outside. Friendly staff at reception

The bunks were the type which moved a lot if one person moved - so if someone on the top bunk rolled over, the person on the bottom got rocked like a boat. But that’s pretty standard for bunks, and typically what you get in a hostel! There were no individual lamps and minimal power points in the room, which did make it a bit awkward at times.
