Mercure Hotel is in a very good location as it is very central like 5 minutes walk to the Metro stations, staff were very good especially the cleaners who cleaned our room every day. The buffet breakfast was good and has varied options to suit everyone’s type of diet. Restaurants all very close the hotel and options are so varied from Italian, French and Asian cuisine etc. Tourist spots like Eiffel tower, The catacombs etc are walkable and reachable by public transport so easily.

The AC does not cool the room well as temperature was fixed to 24 deg which very warm.

I had a wonderful stay, and the highlight was the exceptional service provided by Siham. She was not only lovely but incredibly helpful and went out of her way to make sure every detail was perfect. Siham’s warm and caring attitude made my stay so much more enjoyable, and I truly appreciated her recommendations and willingness to assist whenever I needed it. She made me feel so welcome

The hotel had a lot going for it, but it did feel a bit dated in certain areas. While the staff was excellent and the location was convenient, some parts of the decor and facilities could use an update to enhance the overall experience. A little refresh would make a big difference in bringing a more modern feel to the space

The room size was good with room to move around and plenty of room for suitcases.

The room was very hot and has no individual air conditioning. The air conditioning was unable to be turned on in the room, it is centrally controlled and was turned off. I was told it could not be turned on, we were offered a room change to a different class room, we opted for a fan as we were only 1 night. Unfortunately there are no walk in showers, only the shower over the bath, again was fine for 1 night. Currently there is a lot of sidewalk construction happening so it is a little difficult to walk with suitcases along the uneven ground. This is not the hotels fault or criticism just an observation to note.

The breakfast was the best part! A great selection, long hours, fabulous bread and Nutella, lots of great meat and cheese. We loved it! The room worked well for me and 3 teens. Two were able to share the bed in one room, and my teen-age son and I were able to use the two twins in the adjoining room.

Lighting was not great in the rooms. It was a little dim. Outlets were a little difficult to get to. Rooms are somewhat cramped, but probably what I'd expect in Paris. Worked fine for our two-night/one-day whirlwind trip through Paris.

The location is very good and centra near the gare montparnasse with lots of buses and metro access. There is a mall and centre commercial next to the hotel and small supermarkets which makes it very convenient.

The staff is not welcoming doing the bear minimum. Any request they will not fulfill and you don’t feel welcome at all. It’s not a tyupical reception but rather scattered employees behind a laptop not sure what they are actually doing but really unwelcoming. No parking No valet Non concierge No one to help with luggage expert the (rude) reception staff. Which will actually not even help you but rather guide you to the luggage carrier so you can do it yourself. If you have physical problems or disabilities or traveling with families and strollers be prepared to be on your own.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the metro and main line train at Montparnasse. The rooms weren’t huge, but what do you expect in Paris. It was very comfortable. Amazing breakfast selection with a great coffee machine. Cooked and continental breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

I was worrying about staying here as I read some bad reviews about the state of the hotel and unfriendliness of the staff. It isn’t perfect, there were a few cracks on the bathroom floor and the lift floor was a bit worn, but overall I was please with the hotel. If you want perfection you will need to pay a lot more money in the centre of Paris.

Lovely and helpful and kind reception staff , really helped us settle in quick . The beds were really comfortable and we all had a good night sleep. The breakfast was basic but of high quality produce . The location was great two car parks next to the hotel the costs are practically the same . 35 min walk to the Eiffel Tower and visable from the hotel road

The power plugs are of such position that it’s very difficult to use a plug with charger leads at the bottom of it as it hits the desk that they are based on . So take portable chargers for phones . Items such as hairdryers and plug in stuff should be fine as long as it’s not got leads that need to be attached from the bottom of the plug . Other than that this hotel is a superb experience and one of the best places to stay

Friendly staff. The room was delivered earlier than expected and without asking for extra money. The hotel has a good view of the Eiffel Tower, good access to the metro, and overall I recommend this hotel.

The breakfast menu did not change during our two-day stay. It would have been more attractive if it had changed. It would have been better if the main lobby door was opened with a card or if the elevator was operated with a guest card, which would have been safer. It seems that anyone can easily move around the hotel.

The room was cleaned daily, the maids were very friendly and efficient, as were the facilities service staff. The bed linen and towels are also very good.

The hotel's location is not conducive to going out at night. We also noticed that people are not instructed on how to use the elevators. We often advise guests that they need to use their card to access the floor where they are staying.

Our stay at Hotel Mercure Paris Gare Montparnasse TGV was exceptional. The ambiance was elegant, and the service was impeccable. Azouz, with his attentive care and friendly demeanor, truly made the experience memorable. The room was comfortable, clean and had boasting modern amenities. The hotel's central location allowed for easy exploration of Paris, with numerous attractions within walking distance. The breakfast spread was delicious, offering a variety of options to suit every palate.
