Room was very clean and quiet, bedsheets etc. - everything was clean and made a cosy impression. Waterkettle was there with coffee/milk/tea - very essential for a city trip. You can easily go by bus to many places, nice Sri Lankan restaurants around, much cheaper and more tasty than at most tourist places in Paris. Neighbourhood is main station surrounding like in other big cities, but I didn' t feel molested or insecure.

Strange unhealthy smell from painting work next door building at the time I was there.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Although small, there is a lift in the property, which helps if you have a room that’s on the upper floors. The Hotel is very close to La Chapelle Metro Station and Gare De Nord Train Station, as well as having a bus stop right outside, so public transport links are very strong. The hotel itself is very clean, right down to the mattresses (no bed bugs to be found, even under intense scrutiny). Those that are familiar with Paris know that La Chapelle is a less glamorous part of town, but the hotel is on the main road, and as an experienced traveller whose visited the city serval times, at no point did I feel unsafe in the general vicinity. If you’re looking for a budget friendly place to stay, and are not averse to staying in a multicultural part of town I’d highly recommend.

It’s clean and near to Paris Nord station. 5 - 7 minutes by walk, near to Metro La Capelle and also near to the laundry coin. It’s worth with the price

Excellent location, very close to Metro and walking distance to Gare de Nord. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was out class . Hotel recently refurbished, everything was new other than the old small lift.

Lift in the hotel is very tiny , can only accommodate one person with one bag , it was out of order most of the time .

It was what we needed. We had an early train to catch from Gare Du Nord so we really enjoyed staying just around the corner from the station. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms are small but we only needed somewhere to stay for one night and for that it was ideal. We had some issues with our shower which didn't drain well and flooded the bathroom and unfortunately there wasn't any other room to move into so showering was a bit of a challenge. Overall we still would come back for a convenient one night stay near the station as the location was really key for us. A bonus was air con which we found is very rare in France.

Good location for gare du nord. Room a good size for the price in that location. Room clean and modern and had a kettle. Nice quiet room on the top floor

We had to pay a €150 euro security deposit for the room to be refunded when we left - we’ve not been asked to do that in other Paris hotels. The bathroom was very small and the sink was very small - not made for washing and shaving! The lift to the first floor was not working and it was hard to carry our cases up to the lift we needed from floor upwards

Location staff breakfast cleanliness beds were comfortable showers were hot and good water pressure coffee the best l had all holiday. I liked Adam at reception nothing was too much trouble he was kind friendly and carried our 25kg suitcases up to level 1 with no problem at all.

One of the lifts not working from ground to floor 1 and too small for two ppl and 2 suitcases, had to make 2 trips up to 4th floor. While location was great the area wasn't, alot of Indian shopkeepers and alike, though didn't feel threatened at all.

The room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Unlike most properties, the room was very quiet and you could not hear the streets at all. Had a very comfortable night sleep

The location was not a big issue but there were not enough restaurants of my liking near the property. Its better to have dinner within the paris center before coming home to the hotel. The area can be a bit sketchy but we travelled in a group so was not a big issue, but if you are a solo traveller this might be something to consider. Very close to eurostar station so it was convenient to leave your luggage after checkout and then come later to collect it. If you are travelling with older people, ensure that they use the lift because we happened to get the top floor room and i regret using the stairs.
