The room I had was with a hot tub; the room itself was beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable and the balcony (terrace) area was great. Mini-bar stocked daily, including with a beer, Prosecco, fruit juice, still water and sparkling water. Breakfast was not as basic as the reviews suggest. Yes, it’s not a fry up, but eggs, sausages and bacon are on offer.

The shower - in the room I was in, floods the entire floor of the bathroom. TV didn’t work. No compatible plug sockets near the bed. Had to plug in on other side of the room.

Lovely large bright room with great terrace. Restaurant sweet love the outdoor terrace.

Loved the spa on our terrace but the cover was awful … blue plastic perished and went everywhere into the bath… please replace or remove it. Also why have a coffee machine if only allowed two pods per day… come on!! 😡

The hotel bar and restaurant made this a great add on feature that we used and loved. The breakfast was exceptional. The largest selection of food we have ever had. All of the amenities and the room size, comfort was above what we expected. The upper terrace was like a whole extra bonus room for us. Our terrace was on 2 sides and included a hot tub, outdoor couch, lounge chairs, robes, slippers, to towels to use. Would highly recommend. Photos do not due it justice for the space!

A few minus points but not something that would prevent us from returning. One was the staff ordering us a private car when we specifically asked for a taxi. The overcharge was not nice but we took it anyway. Second was the window coverings in the bathroom were see-through. so one would not take a shower at night with the lights on or if company was out on the terrace at all. Third was the over watered plants on the terrace which were decaying and gave off a subtle septic smell.

Pros: + Room was nicely decorated, very clean, balcony was very spacious, hot tub was great. + Excellent wide variety of choices for breakfast: sausages, bacon, eggs, cereals, fruits, cakes, pastries, meats and cheeses etc. + Staff were all friendly, professional and helpful. Spoke good English. + Pizzeria on site was excellent, we had 1 tea there. + Bedroom had blackout curtains. + Hotel was only 5-7 mins walk from the metro stop. + Didn't realise spa-like robes and a free mini bar were included, a nice surprise.

Not cons, but medium to neutral points: > Bed and pillows weren't super comfy, but weren't uncomfy, just ok. > Air con wasn't turned on in the room because the weather was "variable" (we went late April/early May so it ranged from 25 and sunny, to 17 and rainy). It was generally fine, but a little too warm when sleeping. > The hot tub was great, but it's bath-like in that it's not very deep, and you empty and fill it like a bath each time you use it. Took about 15 mins ish to fill. Instructions were ok but not super clear. You have to fill it to a certain level before the bubbles turn on. > In terms of the hotel location, coming from central Rome, you get the Jonio metro to get to the hotel. They came about every 15-20 mins, so we ended up taxiing a bit.

i really like the hotel, the staff and breakfast was amazing, the location is lovely. i will sure come again , hopefully after renovation the hotel would be even better

there were works around the building all the time - the hotel really needs renovation, I think the rooms are quite old and the furniture as well. as there were works would be great to know it in advance or at least know about it and get a discount for the inconvenience and large noise

Nicely decorated hotel, friendly and lovely staff, especially Taich and Danielle (apologies if wrong spelling), located in a good and quiet residential area, however, as long as you are happy to use public transport or taxis to travel to the centre (about 5 min walk to metro station St. Agnese, then 15 min on metro to main attractions). Metro's ticket cost £3.50 return per person. Conad and Carfour supermarkets are very close nearby.

Breakfast was ok, but unfortunately, one of the breakfast service staff was ill coughing all the time, which was a bit of put off.

Due to renovations the breakfast offerings were a bit limited compared to the previous times I stayed at this hotel. Hopefully when things are back to normal it will revert to the original offerings. Stayed in upgraded room which was very spacious and quiet. Just wish they would offer some rooms with walk in showers, rather than the shower in the bath tub.

Shower in bath tub ! No bathroom amenities ( shampoo/bath gel/ toothbrush cups). May have to do with COVID, although when I was there Italy had scrapped most of their restrictions.

Strategic position close to Luiss university and walking distance from the underground station. Pleasant atmosphere of the recently renovated common areas Excellent pizzeria

Small imperfections in the bedroom (e.g. marks/hole on the wall)

The room is beautiful, tidy. Breakfast is delicious, wide selection. The service staff is pleasant, quickly provides answers to all questions.

Didn't like the mess on the balcony. Of course it's huge! However, the fact that the tiles are brown, the edges are overgrown with grass, and full of fallen leaves - did not leave a good impression. I always hope that everything that is rented, and even more so for a fairly decent price, will be in order. When I asked to clean the room, I thought that the balcony would be cleaned as well. However, this was not done before arrival or during the stay. Not satisfied, I pulled out the protruding grass myself and already wanted to buy a broom.

The bed was very comfortable, room was clean and the bathroom was lovely and very stylish. Best shower I've experienced in any hotel I've been to! The restaurant had some lovely pizzas which we had on the first night. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay and were kind enough to help us perfect some Italian phrases. 100% would stay again!

The room was very warm over night, felt like the heating was on. Had to sleep with the balcony door open as the air conditioning wasn't working.
