When we arrived, we found out the air conditioner in the room we had reserved was broken. Valentina, offered us a smaller room, next to the office with AC and since it was 97 F degrees and we were tired, we accepted. Without a doubt, she went out of her way to try and make it up to us. She got up early and had an incredible breakfast for us at 6 AM bc she knew we had a Vatican private tour. She had a cab waiting for us which she arranged. This was all above and beyond! The rooms were very clean with a small refrig, beds were comfy and her outdoor garden was lovely and we enjoyed a glass of wine there before dinner at a local restaurant within walking distance (which was out the door to the right and several blocks away). Within two blocks (to the right when going out the door) there are huge buildings which are simply magnificent in their architecture. I am not sure whether they were homes or condos but one you can walk through the middle of it and it has a huge chandelier! That is the way to the restaurant that we found, across the street from a bar (on the corner). You had to walk downstairs and while we didn't speak Italian, they were kind and helped us order. Very nice, cozy place which I would recommend. Day two, breakfast was again outstanding and our cab came early so we had to rush out the door again! I would stay again with Valentina. It's not a chain hotel but more like a private home. While they didn't have an ice maker (very important to Americans in a heatwave), they were kind in giving us some ice for our drinks. While it's in a residential area, it's a nice area and you can safely walk to shops, lemonade stand at Plaza Buenos Aires and the buildings nearby including a beautiful church are worth walking the neighborhood. Most activities that you will want to do are about a 20 minute taxi ride but you feel more like a native here than in some cold sterile hotel room.

I would rather have the larger room in the back of the house but I feel that Valentina went above and beyond to make it up to us with her service and kindness. She is a wonderful hostess and her staff works very hard to keep everything spotless. As I said above, I would stay again here, especially now that I know my way around a little bit. Sorry, I didn't get to the needlepoint shop nearby or time to visit the local church.

We loved the location (the historic Coppedè district) and architecture (a converted residence with it's original marble, wood, ironmongery, tall windows, high ceilings, etc) of this elegant, owner managed hotel. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. One can see that she takes great pride in her property. The air-conditioned room was comfortable and refreshing after a long train ride from Milano. The breakfast - served on the patio - was very good with something for all tastes. There are some lovely authentic non-touristy restaurants in the area; plus a couple of small supermarkets for anything one has forgotten to pack.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike with our stay.

This hotel is so beautiful offering escape from the hustle and bustle of the Rome city square. Everything about the hotel was comfortable including room temperature, beds, and bathroom facilities. It was also very clean and the staff were very accommodating. We also liked that this hotel had a lift as this was something we found to be not common in other hotels in Italy we stayed in.

The WIFI connection wasn’t the best as we were kicked off a few times due to too many devices being on it.

Great location. close to every sightseeings, old style but very clean. staff is so friendly and always ready to assist. they even helped me with iron without any cost. we arrived too late and we were nervous as check in time was shown only from 2 to 8:30 pm but it was open even at 11pm. the only inconvenience was communication language as receptionist didnt speak english, but only Italian. otherwise he helped us a lott. thanks for everything ❤️ would definitely stay there again and recommend others as well!

communication was not successful before we arrived, I was texting the property but no reply. finally a friend of mine (Italian) called them and somehow we managed to get the answers))

Super quiet and yet far from centre. Also possible to properly make the room dark. Bed comfortable. So a hotel with very good sleep which is rare. Breakfast great and relaxed. Neighbourvood very pretty.

Only tiny process things to make it perfect. Forgot about invoice, was not reminded or sent automatically.. Tiny detail which can be easily solved with digital tools.

Wonderful renovated early 900 building. The neighbourhood is very interesting and quite, a not-so-renewed part of Rome. The center is reachable by foot if you dont mind walking.

Even though recently renovated, there was bad smell from the bathroom drains. I must admit that I forgot to tell the staff, as I had a short stay it was not that much of an issue.

It is set in a beautiful pink villa, surrounded by other old villas and embassies. Whilst it is a quiet area, you can still find a number of good restaurants. The room had high ceilings and was clean. The windows were also very tall and not directly overlooked. A very charming and characterful place - unlike typical corporate style hotels.

I could not have my breakfast at the hotel as it starts at 8 am, which is too later for business travelers.

We have chose this hotel mostly because of the area, we wanted to live in Coppede. The hotel is small, located 200 metres from the famous Fountain of the Frogs. The room is also small, with designer fixtures, and quiet. In the morning we were served a good italian breakfast in the villa's yard - coffee, croissants, toast, fruit. Near the hotel there is a supermarket, bus stops, to the metro station about 20 minutes on foot. Very close to Villa Borghese, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps can be reached on foot in 40 minutes.

It's hard for me to rate the wifi because the lady who greeted us didn't speak English very well and didn't offer a password. By the way we didn't hardly need it and so didn't ask.
