This was our third Novotel experience as a family – after staying in Paris and Venice, this time we chose Novotel in Rome. The reception staff were extremely helpful; when you arrive in a new city, the hotel is the first place to get information, and they kindly guided us about transportation and activities. The location of the hotel is excellent, with a bus stop right in front, and since we traveled by car, we found the parking facilities more than sufficient. Breakfast was wonderful, and if I visit Rome again, this will definitely be my first choice. Whenever we plan a trip, we always check first if there is a Novotel in the city. :)

There was nothing negative I could say.

Breakfast is very good

Location is far from city center, No shops surrounding, If you need anything, then you have hire the Taxi.

Stayed 2 nights here with family, great hotel as all Novotels we stayed, when you are going somewhere and Novotel is present in that city, you can book and be sure it will not be a mistake, like the Novotel Salerno and Novotel Roma Eur, everyone here were very friendly, trying to help all the time, a big Thanks to everyone ! Special thanks to the restaurant, we had dinner there, made a reservation, and to our surprise the food was better than we expected, and better that in some fancy restaurants in the city, and much better priced! Cleaning every day, breakfast was great, parking, location, everything was great !!! Untill next time in Rome ! Will not even try anything else, when I know the place I should go to!

The only 2 downsides on this one is the lack of a pool, kids were really hoping there will be one, and the second downside I would say is that the rooms would probably need a little renovation soon, nothing dramatic but it would be a good improvement, overall a great stay with a great value for money !

Firstly we had 2 bookings at this hotel . The company booked a room with a balcony for 4 nights and we needed to add an extra night so booked a standard room for the first night and changed rooms. Plus - all staff were excellent particular bar and reception staff. Dinner was tasty , although breakfast ok . Room cleaned every day and the Eurama shopping centre very convenient.

Location for central Rome involved a 22 minute walk or 3/4 bus stops and the metro. Limited dining opportunities nearby except shopping centre which had several restaurants but lacked the authenticity and everything inside!! The sink in the 2nd room and taps a little shallow and seems a poor design. Plug socket for kettle in the wrong place if you are working at the desk. Finally the bed proved to be a little hard for my husband who ended up with a bad back - I had no issue but all depends on what you are used to.

Novotel was the best experience, federico the front desk manager was an angel to us. I booked wrong dates and he accomodated me allowed me free cancelation and was fast as lightening. My 2 daughters loved the bar and friendly staff here. There will be no other place in rome i will stay. Also got free parking for 4 days i stayed here. The room was perfectly cleaned. It was just magical

The breakfast was very less variety. Should cost you around 30 euro every time you go to city center ( coloseum, spanish stairs etc.) But i had a rented car so for me it was a 25 minites of nice drive

The location was great, in 7 min walk you can reach a commercial center, the taxi can pick us from the hotel, the restaurant was amazing the food is was so delicious, and the breakfast was perfect different choices and very rich, sooo yummy, the check in and out was easy because we booked online, the receptionist was very welcome they speak so many languages, french English, Italian and sure others too Thank you Novotel !!

For a Rome hotel, this exceeded expectations. Clean and modern. Nicely equipped and on major bus routes. Close to a major shopping complex. The was not too close to tourist attractions, but transport was easy enough to compensate. Better price/value ratio for Rome and many other options closer to the old town. Buffet breakfast was fun, delicious and had everything needed.

Would have loved a pool....but the fitness centre was great.

This is a good and functional hotel, very good if you come by car as there is plenty of free parking. It is very modern, maybe a bit bare minimum but everything is there. The breakfast area is very pleasant and the staff is nice. I liked it that it is very accessible.

The lifts are not very fast

as usual, Novotel had a lousy bathroom designer who seems to designed all of their bathrooms hotels worldwide. absolutely horrible bathroom design. half glass showers. lights turning off even when you are in the bathroom, too many faucets in the bath tub that hit your legs while taking shower. wash basin/sink faucet was poorly designed and hard to control. while getting in the shower, be careful as you may hit the sink and fall. absolutely horrific bathroom design at Novotel but it was super clean.
