Came back and was told they could not check because the morning lady don't understand me. The lady in the evening can understand and speak good English. Was told I can change a new room just beside my current one. Just to be sure my air con indeed don't works She came up and checked and confirmed. Room was immediately change.

There was a lot of APA hotels in the area. Went to.the wrong location . Directions was not clear. Was allocated a room with a spoil aircon. Informed the front desk to check when I am out for the day . But the ppl at the front desk don't really understand English.

Great location from Kyoto station. In the middle of busy bar area. Safe to walk around. Typical APA style hotel - efficient room. Clean and cozy. There was breakfast options, but I did not join. Great wifi. For the value - it was great price and location. I would stay here again. Wonderful customer service.

I wish this place had a laundry facility. Great customer service and I would recommend for anyone traveling in busy Kyoto area. I would stay here again.

Cleanliness, staff, convenience of booking, location

The iterature in the Room is deeply offensive. Mainly an article on kamikaze pilots by Fuji Seiji. My interpretation of the article is that he sells the kamikaze pilots as heros and were a total success which benefited the Japanese people. No way Fuji Seiji and Motoya Toshio. This is perverse interpretation.

Super conveniently located. Right near Kyoto station. Clean everything. Rooms are small, but I don't care about that. The pillows were really uncomfortable but idk if that's just how pillows in Japan are. Breakfast was good. In my opinion though, I feel bad about all the disposable amenities they give you every day

The price is great for Kyoto, the location is right by Kyoto station. It's close to everything. The TV is huge and the bed is comfortable.

Bathroom is a touch small if you're a bigger person, and the one elevator is a bit slow, but neither of these things are unusual for this style of Japanese hotel.

Extremely well located. Just one street away from Kyoto Station. Many restaurants nearby, as well as temples and malls and a convenience store. Extremely cost beneficial for the location. Despite the room being on the smaller side, it had all necessary amenities and more (such as hair dyer, full bathroom kit, and even slippers etcetc)

The only restaurant inside closes rather early. But it's not a big problem due to the location, you can find food for any taste in less than 5min walking. Staff isn't too proficient at English, but the language barrier can be easily solved with translation apps for out of the normal questions, and the staff was very willing to try and help

Compact rooms, but efficient usage of space - the hotel has managed to provide a more premium experience in a small business hotel setting. Bed is well sized and very comfortable. Bathroom was a small all-in-one affair but again, efficient use of space meant it had everything you needed, although slightly bigger sink would have been welcome. Breakfast was provided with a meal ticket in a small cafe in the lobby. Decent range of self-service buffet offerings which changed daily. Location was excellent, only 5 minutes walk to JR Kyoto and the bus terminal out front. Lots of restaurants in the area, although being near the station meant they filled up very quickly by late afternoon. Better to eat off peak or travel further afield.

Only one lift that was very slow. Breakfast café was a little small, might be difficult to find a space at peak hours. Rooms might be too compact for some.

Handy to the station. Clean etc. Laundromat a few blocks away (6-10 min walk).

Note a dislike, just a note for customers: There are two APA hotels opposite each other on the street and both have names involving ‘e’ — so double check which one you’ve booked before entering ;)

Fair room for the price paid. Its close to Kyoto station and Yodabashi Kyoto, there is also a convenience store right beside the hotel. Staff is friendly and nice and super honest. I accidentally left my phone and some other things in the room when I checked out and when I came back a few hours later, my phone and all the other stuff I left were all neatly packed by the cleaning crew when they gave it back to me. Thank you!

Room is reaaally dusty. Roll in bed wearing black and youll see how it turns to gray.

Over priced due to Sakura season and spring break. This hotel is extra small. I understand most japanese hotels are small but this one was smaller than normal specifically the bathroom. The parking garage that is affiliated with the hotel was a bit confusing. I was initially charged 6000 yen for my stay. I was then called to desk and was told that I owed 2000 yen more and that if I kept my car parked there for the rest of my stay it would be double what I already paid. So if you drive to this hotel use the coin lot next door its a flat rate of 1800 yen per day.
