Nice stay, centrally located hotel close to many bars and restaurants, walking distance from Akihabara and well connected with other parts of the city like Shibuya. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small but the layout was efficient and we felt comfortable.

We like having the room temperature on the cooler side, but we could not bring the temperature in the room down even with the air conditioning on. We ended up shutting off the airco and keeping the windows open and would occasionally have noise from traffic coming through.

The cleanliness of the entire property, from the lobby to the halls and the room was EXCEPTIONAL. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Being able to store my luggage before check in was a lifesaver. The proximity to Kanda station was really handy and just a short walk from Akihabara. I've stayed at APA before, but not this branch, and will continue to look at APA for future stays because it's always such a pleasure (and excellent value for money).

I would have liked a self service laundry option, but there was a coin laundry 5 minutes walk from the hotel so it wasn't the end of the world at all.

A small hotel with big wonders! Even though the hotel was small, it was very cozy and comfortable. The facilities and features were more than satisfactory to us which contributed to our enjoyable trip to Tokyo, Japan. The location of the hotel is also excellent as it is near the metro, a 7/11, a famous ramen shop, and numerous restaurants. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Tokyo and will stay in other APA hotels when we go to other places in Japan such as Osaka and Kyoto. APA has now become our to go hotel in Japan.

Lack of a safe and the earlier than usual checkout.

This was our first Japanese hotel and I was surprised what they can fit in such a compact space. The bed was comfortable and as we were out and about each day the small space was not a problem. The laundry rooms had washer/dryer machines that were the cheapest I have ever used. We had breakfast included and after some confusion on morning one as to how the process worked, google translate came to the rescue, and we settled in. Each morning you received a breakast plate of a strange mix of salad, pickled veggies, cold meat, hot meat or chicken rissole and egg roll, all of which were very tasty. There was also tea, coffee, miso, curry, rice and a small selection of breads. The train station was only five minutes walk away, but then the main centre of Tokyo, Parks and the Zoo at Ueno were within 2 kms - so also very walkable. Many small food places were in the surrounding streets.

I didn't like the pillows, but soon came to realise that the pillows in all the hotels were the same. They are flat or big and quite hard and the underside (or is it the topside) is full of beans or some kinds of hard balls.

Very convenient location, about a 4min walk to Kanda station which connects to basically everything. Comfortable room, very kind staff that was able to help with luggage service, in-room massage, and adapters for our electronics. The breakfast was pretty okay, I've attached pictures. The bathroom was a little small but very nice and had everything provided: fancy bidet toilet, good shower/bath combo with proper water pressure, and amenities such as a toothbrush, q-tips, and a comb. Around the hotel there's a lot of small restaurants and also a few convenience stores, so you won't go hungry here. All in all, very pleased with my stay.

The location makes it so that you can hear the trains from the hotel. I wasn't bothered by this but my partner had some difficulties sleeping a few of the nights because of it.

It it was the perfect hotel for a solo traveler. I wanted something close to the Tokyo Station Shinkansen, and this was incredibly convenient. It’s right next to the subway station. I like that it’s not a touristy neighborhood, there’s a lot of just local people going about their days. Also, the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve literally ever slept in.

The room was small; I didn’t mind this at all since I was traveling solo and don’t mind cozy spaces, but if you like spacious rooms, this could be an issue

Location was the best. And it was so close to restaurants. The train line was of course convenient and so easy to get to Tokyo Station area or to Jimbocho.

I really liked the stay. I was surprised there seemed to be bags left on other guest room doors when I arrived. I don't know if it was in relation to other guests staying a second night or was something to do with housecleaning, but I arrived at around 16:30 and to see that seemed a bit disheveled, disorganized if it were for housecleaning, slightly rundown image as if there weren't enough staff.

Good service and spacious for a business hotel solo room. Located close to stations and relatively close to adjacent neighbourhoods too.

Hotel was great, and location is very convenient for both metro, JR and walking to Akihabara or Jimbocho area. These are specific to personal issues experienced but my tap wasn't functioning right and only ran water consistently when it was on max pressure. Clothes took 3-4 days to dry despite bathroom ventilation being on (they don't have laundry in the hotel, so I used the nearby Pierrot). And I think there's only one elevator for the whole hotel - only had an issue with it once but it was a long wait haha

We loved that convenience stores and public transportation were within minutes of walking distance. The regular cleaning was also a bonus and ensured our apartment was clean throughout.

Not a dislike but potential guests should be mindful that the rooms are quite small. We stayed in a standard double non-smoking room. It had everything we needed but felt tight at times. E.g., We had to manoeuvre around each other carefully.

Small room but very clean with everything you could want as a traveller. Clean towels, toiletries, coffee, tea provided each day. Location is easy to find, just a couple minutes walk from the station. Check in was easy and staff were really friendly. I speak Japanese so it is easy for me to communicate, but it is also good to have the option of English explainations.

There is nothing i would rate as a negative except the size of the bathroom, but this is to be exoected in such a compact room.
