As all Superhotels the main point is that they're are affordable AND comfy, this is the case as well with the Kinshicho Ekimae. Strong points are: - Location, right next to a JR station so Japan Railpass users can rest assured, the square in front of the station is full of coffee shops (including one little coffe shop called Mountain Coffee which I CANNOT stress enough how much of a lovely coffee shop it is, it really elevates the experience in the Superhotel having that little shop so close, wonderful homemade pancakes and coffee breakfasts, I tell you it's really worth it only for that), there's also a mall, a Don Quijote in case you want to buy some weird knick knacks, fast food restaurants the likes of Yoshinoya and Matsuya, izakayas/ramen restaurants/sushi restaurants all in the same street as the hotel. ***Interesting/Recommended spots near it: The Hokusai museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, Sumida river promenades, the Sumo Arena Kokugikan, Tokyo TeamLab AND Tokyo Skytree (which contains one of the few Ghibli official shops in Tokyo) . Also worth mentioning it's only a 30' train/underground trip to the traditional Asakusa/Taito ward. - The staff: super helpful and friendly, we had a little trouble with the TV in our room and in 5 minutes it was already fixed as if nothing had happened. Fast and efficient performance! - Traditional bath available: one of the services this hotel offers is a traditional onsen inside the hotel which is open 24h so you can enjoy a nice bath after walking all around Tokyo during the day. IN SHORT: The Kinshicho Ekimae is a really convenient hotel located in the Sumida ward, super well-connected thanks to the Kinshicho Station, surrounded by all the businesses you may need, in a nice and lovely neighbourhood and also close to main interesting spots to visit while in Tokyo.

The location is great, hotel was clean and calm, washing machine available for laundry. Small onsen which is just enough to relax. Breakfast is decent. Lawson store in the building. Great bed, just be sure to pick a pillow at the reception desk. Toiletries are plentiful in the room. Staff is very kind.

There is only a single elevator, and it can take some time to get down from your room as it can be crowded. But there are some stairs if in a hurry. Also a minor point, there is no trash in the laundry room, so when you clean the drier filter, you have to take the filter content with you, so take a small plastic bag. They have bathrobe to go to onsen, which is great, but the large size was way too small for me.

The hotel is located right across the street from Kinshicho station, which provides easy access to the rest of Tokyo. The double room is decently sized and the bed is comfortable. The included buffet breakfast each morning offers a nice variety of options. The public bath is not very big, but it was always clean and offered a very relaxing hot water temperature. The coin laundry is great too, and very modestly priced. There is convenience store just outside the hotel entrance, and a myriad of dining on shopping options within walking distance.

There were no ice machines except during breakfast service.

Location is prefect! A short 3 minutes walk from the JR station or 5 minutes to the Metro station. Our room has a beautiful view of the Tokyo Sky Tree. Supermarkets and shops right next to the station and plenty of dining options around the area. Although the reception lady doesn't speak much of English, she is very friendly and helpful. Reasonable priced and good breakfast options, we do like the fresh pastry !!

Typical business hotel, room is on the small size. Almost impossible to have two luggage open at the same time. As others mentioned, there is only one lift so it could be crowded during peak breakfast hours.

Location was great! It was literally half a block from the Kinshinko station. There are several malls/ shopping centers within walking distance. The staff were all nice and accommodating. The breakfast was super tasty. The rooms were a little small but I believe this is common in Japan.. I only used their hot spring once. Even though it was small it was very clean and I had the whole place to myself. They also have free toiletries.

People complained about the elevator. I noticed it only gets busy during breakfast and check out times. Even though we had to wait a few minutes it was not a big deal for me.

The hotel's location is amazing, with a department store opposite and plenty of local restaurants nearby. It really feels like home. After spending time in the city, we always return to the area around our hotel for dinner. It's less expensive and offers lots of choices. Lawson and Don Quijote are right next door. We loved the free breakfast with its Japanese style offerings, nice pastries, and coffee. The only downside is the distance—you might need to take two trains or subways to reach major areas. However, it’s manageable, and we were able to take the subway directly from the hotel to Shibuya.

The location was fantastic!! Just take the north exit from JR or exit 3 for subway , then cross the street and turn left , walk around 3 minites pass burger king and the the hotel. There's a supermarket and lowson beforehand the hotel. Walk pass the hotel , there's a bigger supermarket and 7/11. The department store is just in front of the hotel. I booked the triple room and it was bigger than I thought. Many space for my luggages. We can take the direct train JR Line direct from the Narita airport without changing any train. Super convenient!!!! The direct train , I think once for 1 hour but still convenient. Japanese style breakfast was also my faves!!! I really love the hotel begery, which I asked to buy them home but not for sale!! haha. I hope I'll book this hotel again for my next trip!! Oh!! The public bath also veryyyy good experience for me!! Love supper hotel!!

The location was nice, only one stop away from (Oshiage) Sky Tree and the Hanzomon line took us many places. There were many malls around the area, which meant a lot of food options and shopping. We were lucky to have Sky Tree view from the room. The bottom bed is a queen sized bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There is only one elevator. Breakfast wasn't that exceptional with only few options, it's a bit hit or miss. Thin walls, you could occasionally hear the next room.

Great location, relaxing onsen, and a traditional Japanese healthy breakfast selection. Plus we had a great view of the sky tree from our room.

Our stay would have been wonderful if not for the stained linen in our room. The stain—possibly blood or a coffee spill—was quite noticeable. I informed the front desk, and while they offered to replace it, I declined since we were checking out the next morning. Still, such visibly stained linen should never be used, especially when it's that obvious.

14 years ago super hotels was outstanding in price/quality, these days i'm a bit less enthousiastic. very good: staff is very nice. cushions cabinet is still great. i was surprised to find the public bath (last minute reservation, was in a hurry). it was the most pleasant surprise! no checking out procedure; Breakfast okay, except:

why canned fruit at breakfast? we had other hotel of the chain and they served defrozen mango? de rooms are tiny but the observation deck is so big? made my child say: they should have better give us an extra meter hotel space. second super hotel with a not fresh smelling room: this one smelled like urine, although the bahroom was really clean. precious one smelled like smoke.
