Location - although hotel is quite far from Shibuya and Shinjuku, it is easy to get there from Kinshicho station which is about 5-8 mins walk from the hotel. Love the most for its direct access to Mt Fuji and Disneysea. Every morning one of the Fuji express train will stop by Kinshicho train station before going to Shinjuku, saving us the trouble and time for a transfer at Shinjuku. Direct bus to DisneySea takes only 35 mins. Staff is very helpful and very accommodating. Our Japanese apartment room size is just right for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers though there is not too much room for luggages. We had 3 large luggages but could only keep two open on the floor beside our bed. Room is extremely clean and the utensils are new.

Streets and environment around the hotel. The corridors outside the rooms are not enclosed so we need to put on our winter wear to just go down to level 1 for our laundry. Bed / mattress is very hard but luckily the comforters make up for it and we were all able to get some good nights sleep. If you do not like/ wish to spread your own futon beds or have sensitive nose, choose the rooms with single beds.

Property was clean and located not too far from a train station (about 5-8 minutes walk). The room was very spacious for Japanese standards and had enough beds for our whole family which was important! They provided plenty of towels and I appreciated the extra features in the kitchen such as paper towels, cling wrap and scissors (which are handy for families!)

The location isn’t near Shibuya or Shinjuku (about 40 mins by train to those areas) but we didn’t mind that too much as we were happy to be in a quieter area. Would have also liked a hotel even closer to a station but if you’re okay to walk a little then it’s ok :)

Super friendly staff the whole time who spoke English well. Helped with recommendations and even some bookings for us. Place was clean, really well laid out making great use of the space. Larger than most accomodation options in Tokyo. Coin operated washer and dryer. Basic cooking facilities perfect for breakfast in the apartment and snacks. Could fully cook if you wish but we found eating out cheap and easy. Full clean is every second day, the off day they still do towels and rubbish which is absolutely fine. Close to station for easy access, plenty of convenience stores, eating places nearby. Would definitely recommend! Note it has Japanese styling influence ie lower than normal (western) beds and seating area if mobility is an issue.

The best hotel in Tokyo — without a doubt! I’ve stayed at many hotels in Japan, but Mimaru was truly special. My father wasn’t feeling well and needed to see a doctor, and the entire staff, including the manager, went above and beyond to help us. They made sure he could see a doctor immediately, even accompanying us to the clinic and helping with translation — not just once, but twice! We were deeply touched by their kindness and care. They constantly checked in to make sure my father was okay throughout our stay, all the way until checkout. We are truly grateful for everything they did. As for the location — it’s perfect. Close to shops, malls, Uniqlo, Don Quijote, and just a 3–5 minute walk from both the JR Station and the subway. The room was spotless, and the check-in instructions were very clear. Everything about this hotel was absolutely perfect. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for everything!

Mimaru Tokyo Kinsicho is a hidden gem. We were family of 4, And we really loved our stay at Mamaru Kinsicho. The Aparthotel was clean, nice, tidy, and have everything we need. Their 24 hours receptionists can speak English fluently and very helpful. They have a laundry room with many washer and dryer machines. 400 Yen for washing, 100 Yen for drying for 30 minutes. Tips: For drying machine, Better directly put in 200 or 300 Yen for better drying conditions. We still need to hang our clothes after take out from the dryer to be completely dried. We love Kinsicho neighborhoods. Nice, not crowded, but you can find everything you need. Near Metro and JR Stations, Near several Malls with Uniqlo, GU, Muji, Daiso , J-beauty stores, also Don Qiote is near by. Various delicious foods across the streets, Some of them open 24 hrs. There is a small Park with some Sakura trees at the back of Mimaru, across Lawson. Also Kinshi Park with many Sakura trees is near by. We love everything about Mimaru Kinsicho, and definitely will stay here again next time.

We had an amazing 7-night stay at Mimaru Tokyo Kinshicho! The staff were absolutely fabulous—so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was spotless and well-equipped, with the tatami room offering a really comfortable and authentic experience. The location couldn't have been better—just a short walk to the train station, surrounded by great restaurants, shopping malls, and convenience stores like FamilyMart and Lawson’s on the corner. Plus, it's only a 20-minute train ride to Shibuya, making it an ideal spot for exploring Tokyo. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!

Nothing at all

We booked a family suite for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The location was superb as it was near the train station and also many places for food and shopping. The streets are quite, the hotel was super clean and smells good also. Some of the staff spoke Chinese and was very helpful throughout the stay. The beds are comfortable and the bath area is also spacious for a family. They have big projector that can watch YouTube and Netflix in the room. The price was also a steal for a room like this. If my family comes again, we will surely book this place again.

We loved the location! There are three convenience stores within 1 minute walk, train station is within 3 minutes walk and there are grocery stores, shopping malls within 5 minute walk.... forget going to shibuya if u want to shop at Donki, just go to the Kinsincho branch and they pretty much have all that you would shop for without the crowds and the long waiting lines.... would stay here again...

The low japanese style furniture... for middle aged people like me, it's hard to get up from the low bed and dining table.. I did manage though, but western style furniture would have been more comfortable.

The size of the room is quite spacious in Tokyo standard. We enjoy the decent dining table in our room for family activities. Plenty of choices of appliances can be borrowed to make the stay feel like home. Beds and bedding are super comfortable. Location wise, it is easy to access public transportation.

The noise is the biggest and only issue of our stay. The noise from the street was so loud and it was so annoying at night. The AC in our room was easy to operate but also with disturbing noise. Even though the hotel can provide ear buds, but still….

Stayed here 1 months as family of four with two kids (4 and 5yr old). The staff is very nice, service-oriented and helpful. The apartment is well equipped and clean. A detailed scheduling of cleaning was given to us on arrival. Lot of practicalities make your stay comfortable, e.g., free tea and skin care products, free rental of board games, pajamas, umbrellas, toaster, etc. There are washing/drying machines on the 1st floor at a reasonable price. The place is well located near many restaurants, transport options, parks, a mall with an indoor playground, convenience stores, etc. A 24/7 supermarket is also very close by walking. Skytree tower, which has an aquarium and another indoor playground, is not far either (one station away or a 25 mins walk).

At first impression, some people might feel the bars in front of the building or surrounding area towards East are a bit dodgy. Please do not be afraid at all about this, it won’t affect at all your stay. We circulated with kids, any time day or night there is no noise or any issues coming from there.
