Accomodation is located at the end of the main shopping street so atmosphere was less touristy, restaurants were cheaper and more authentic. Loved it. You could still easily walk to the touristy areas (1-2km away). Also within a five minutes walking distance to a great beach which was more natural, much wider and less crowded and less noisy then the stretches closer to the centre of Playa del Carmen. Also, accomodation provided private parking free of charge.

We had booked a double room for four people expecting that there would be two separate bedrooms or that at least living room and kitchen would be separate. Fridge was sometimes a bit noisy and travelling with a 20 months old child made it a bit more challenging to hang out in the apartment in the evenings. Maybe our mistake for not taking a better look at the pictures before booking. we also refused to wear a bracelet around our wrists for access and reception was fine with us just showing it on demand so we kept it in our bags/ pockets.

The Presidential Suite was lovely, The space was large and the large top floor balcony was great. A full kitchen with everything we needed was also very nice. Quiet at night as the hotel is located toward the quiet end of 5th Ave. The staff are all quite nice and helpful. The lobby doors are closed and watched all night. The rooftop pool is incredible. The entire roof space is exceptional with a shaded area and covered cabanas. Sunrise up here is as good as it gets.

Not really much to complain about here. In my room there was only a television in the bedroom but it had Netflix and lots of other options. Maybe a television in the front room would be nice too. Some construction going on across the road and up the street, but it really is not too loud. Some of the new buildings blocked the sunset from my balcony. I actually enjoyed watching a guy working throughout my week there as he laid tiles in the building across from my balcony. Very talented, indeed.

There was a good amount of space, the beds were very comfy and the rooftop lounge and pool are fantastic. We love this area of PDC for easy access to the beach at calle 72 or behind The Reef hotel at the end of CTM. Less than 10 minutes walk from the room to the best part of the local beach. Our room was back away from the street so it was very quiet at night. The kitchen only had basic supplies, but enough appliances and cooking utensils to get by.

I was skeptical about dealing with lobby noise when they gave us a room not far from the front desk, but it was not really an issue. There was a day when the tap water turned blue early in the morning and then stopped running until the early evening. It seemed ok again after it was restored. As noted in other reviews, it´s not really a 2-bedroom apartment as the walls don´t reach the ceiling and you have to go through one bedroom to reach the bathroom so better for people who are ok with that level of privacy.

I really liked this place! It seem to be new and fresh. Very cozy and nice atmosphere, beautiful reception, and perfect location. The room was not too big, but still good for our company of 2 adults and two kids. I want to admit separately the quantity of the service at reception - they are going just amazing job! They were so friendly 24/7 and helped us with everything were looking for! Also I want to admit the cleaning team - they are doing excellent job too. Exceptional service! I will come back in December this year, hopefully, with my mom! Thank you so much guys for this amazing vacation at your hotel!

There is a free coffee and tea station which is absolutely great! My friend said that it would be perfect to have a breakfast too, but I understand that this is more "suits" type of the accommodation and there is no restaurant to cook the food, so all good. There are tons of cafes around the hotel.

The pictures are exactly as shown on the booking site! Vanessa, our front desk personnel, was excellent she welcomed us even though we arrived before check-in time and kindly offered to store our luggage in the gym. Norma, our maid, was also amazing. The location was perfect! Everything was within walking distance: 5th Avenue, Chedraui, 10th Avenue, and the beach. It was peaceful and quiet, making it a relaxing getaway. We also visited Señor Frog, just a couple of blocks down on 5th Avenue OMG, what a vibe! The place was full of energy, live music, and great entertainment. Like they say, you come for the food but stay for the entertainment! A++++++ for both food and fun. I will definitely book here again on my next trip to Playa del Carmen!

The location was great. The staff is really friendly and attentive.

The room could have been a lot cleaner . We used wipes to clean the counter and table and they were dirty.

Great location! Just a bit outside the super busy and "cheesy" downtown playa del carmen, but still on 5th avenue, short walking distance to many restaurants and very cute coffee places, like P'tit Shoux. Also short walk to a nice and long public beach, WAY better than the tiny and disappearing beach downtown Playa del Carmen. Nice roof top. Very large room, comfortable king-size bed and pillows. Very large open closet. Covered and secured car garage. Friendly staff, especially Rafael at the front desk.

It seems that they don't check that everything is working as expected, and that nothing is missing. In my room, I had no hangers. I had to ask for them, and did get them. No batteries to operate the safe box. Only ONE coffee cup and ONE glass in the kitchen. Excellent Internet in the lobby with a little business desk, but not always very good from the room. Good coffee in the lobby, but nobody checks when it gets empty. As a result, I had to wait for at least 30 minutes for them to refill it. Also, one morning, there was no coffee cup. So, overall the hotel is quite nice, great location; it's just unfortunate that they don't pay attention to all these little things.

We booked the 2 bedroom suite, which is not really a 2 bedroom. It's a large hotel room with 2 beds, and there is a thin wall (not to the ceiling) between the beds. Which means you can still hear everything, see eachothers lights and you have to go through the one bedroom to get to the bathroom. Doors make noise, so you wake the other person(s). The room was in the lobby, which means hardly any daylight and we could hear the music and waterfall that are in the lobby.

To me this is one of the best locations in Playa. It is slightly outside of the super crowded, cheesy downtown on 5th street, and there are many super nice and cute coffee places and restaurants, and a short walk to the long public beach. Excellent location on a calm street. Indoor parking is included at no additional cost. Great coffee in the lobby, all day long. Very friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again.

A few things could be improved: - there was ZERO electrical outlets in the main room. Even the lamp on the end table by the couch could not be plugged in. Quite annoying if you want to plug in your laptop while seating at the table. - there were only 5 hangers, and only one of them for pants. It would not take much to add a few more. - the A/C unit in the bedroom was too noisy (vibrations) to be used during the night. Maybe it just required to be tuned/adjusted. - there is a nice view from the roof top pool. However, the deck is rather small with a limited number of sun-tanning chairs. Could be difficult to get one during the day...

Excellent location! In my opinion, and after more than 10 trips to Playa del Carmen, this area is really where to stay unless you want to be in an all-inclusive resort in Playacar. It's away enough from cheesy and loudly downtown Playa del Carmen, with plenty cute restaurants and cafe places, all within a 5-minute walk. It's also a 5-minute walk to the large public beach, that is miles long and very deep, that starts just North of the Coco Reef resort. Don't even think about going to the downtown Playa del Carmen beach. It is VERY narrow, most of the time no more than 15ft, and over crowded. My room was very large, very comfortable bed. Very good wifi. Great free coffee in the main lobby.

The pool area on the roof top is a bit small, with quite a limited number of pool chairs; I think it was only like 8. If you plan on dining in your room, just know that the plates and silverware are quite limited. This was not an issue for me as I was always dining outside. Just an FYI.
