Breakfast: very good variety, good quality, nice and clean Location: lovely place, beautiful surroundings - car helps to access easily the city centre. Beautiful facilities swimming pool the hall/sauna/steaming room/ the hall/ lovely all of them. Reception staff was very good and very accommodating. The only thing I would want a bit more improvement is the room cleaning to higher standard so it was 'good' it could be 'excellent' and replacement of some items on the room which needed replacement and a softer touch would look better for a family stay.

Gym, swimming pool, sauna and steam room on site Bar, restaurant and beautiful outside areas including a lovely courtyard. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the most comfortable stay! Fresh towels provided daily. The shutters to block out the daylight were outstanding I'm now looking to get some at home.

The cooked breakfast was slightly dry because it's left out buffet style BUT there were plenty of other options which more than made up for it. Parking charges are barbaric, we become an IHG member the day before our trip so we actually didn't have to pay the Parking fee, this may be helpful for people staying in future.

The communal areas were ideal for a family stay as we could comfortably sit together. Breakfast was a great variety and super fresh. The big standout for us was the top-notch customer service offered by every single member of staff who we asked anything of or who helped us, From the moment we checked in, the welcome, the response to anything we asked & the general helpfulness of the staff could not be faulted. It felt like all the staff were working at the highest level & it added to our stay wonderfully. The family bedroom was a great size, airy, clean and everything we needed.

The pool lockers were a pain to get working & there were no individual changing rooms.

Perfect location for access to the M11 and London Stansted airport where we were travelling to the following day. Friendly staff, great lobby area and a lovely buffet breakfast. Tea and coffee-making facilities in the room plus Dove branded bathroom products. Comfortable bed. Lots of car parking.

I was an IHG member so had parking for free, otherwise we would have had to pay £10 for car parking - odd considering this hotel is out of town with plenty of parking spaces. We had quite a bit of luggage as were travelling to London Stansted the next day and the rooms were quite a long way down the corridors.

My wife and I had an very early morning fight from Stanstead on the following day and decided to spend the day visiting Cambridge rather than an overnight stop at the airport. The hotel was booked well ahead at an almost worryingly low price but the facilities were perfect. A decent bar area and food was served later than I expected.

Hotel parking is chargeable and signage outside suggests that payment is via an app that needs to be installed. Someone later said you can pay in the hotel though I didnt verify this. The booking.com description needs to be more clear on how the parking charges can be paid as fiddling around with installing a phone app when carrying luggage is an unneccessary stress.

We booked an overnight stay to attend a friends funeral in Cambridge. We arrived at the hotel after a 3hour drive from Cardiff. The hotel was easy to find and well located (just off the A14). There was plenty of car parking and the staff manning the reception desk were very welcoming and friendly.The room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. The leisure club looked very popular; I would bring a swimming costume one my next visit! We had an evening meal on the evening we arrived, there was a wide choice of menu and the food was nicely presented and very tasty. The breakfast was mainly self service with plenty of choice and there appeared to be an additional menu that you could order. The time of check out from rooms was at 9am but when we explained the funeral did not take place until 2pm. The reception staff agreed that we could delay our check out until 1pm

The greeting by the member of staff on reception was fantastic, he couldn't do enough for us, even offered an upgrade. The hotel was clean and tidy. The breakfast was superb, lots of choice and good quality food. The location is lovely as well, not far from the park and ride to the centre of Cambridge.

I was a bit disappointed as myself and my daughters wanted 2 rooms that were next to each other and I had requested this quite far in advance. Unfortunately they did not put us close together and I was put in an accessible room which I really did not want or need.

I used to live in Impington and had returned to Cambridge for a Funeral and a birthday Celebration (a mixed Trip) The hotel has changed since my last visit - the reception has been updated and the bar relocated for the better The rooms were nice and the bed / pillows very comfortable The room prices were competitive We ended up eating in the hotel on the evening of my partners birthday rather than travel into Cambridge the meal - 2 steaks were great and both the Bar and Waitressing staff were lovely. when we booked in the guy on reception was equally nice and acknowledged us later to see we were ok Well done to all concerned at Holiday Inn Impington

The stay was all positive nothing bad to report

Staff were amazing. We travelled with our children, one of whom is Autistic and was obviously overwhelmed from the long journey in the car. The staff were just so helpful and considerate, particularly when we decided to eat dinner at the hotel and our child was struggling to decide what to eat. We were also given free drinks for our wedding anniversary (we had our wedding at the hotel 14 years ago!) and it was exactly the reception we needed that day!

The rooms are starting to show their age and looking a bit tired. Having said that, the rooms were spotless and the beds comfy, so not a problem. It just needed a face-lift.

Very friendly welcome from Alan, who offered his assistance as I use a wheelchair. He also arranged an accessible taxi - thank you, Shooey. Everywhere looked and smelt fresh, but a little extra attention in the bathroom could have made it perfect. There was a good selection at breakfast and kind, helpful staff. Other staff members checked that I was okay and could manage in my wheelchair. I shall be returning for another visit and enquired about holding a group charity meeting next year. My pre-booked Accessible Room was very good for my requirements. It was in a good location.

I prefer the price quoted to be the total cost and not VAT added afterwards. If adapting more rooms to be accessible, then a walk-in shower would be preferable. Cooked breakfast could have been hotter,
