The hotel is clean, I always stay this hotel whenever I go to Singapore, the location is so good, there’s 7-11 opposite hotel, and always hawker center and supermarket. Mrt station is just walking distance

It was what we wanted when we arrived after a long flight. The room was spacious.

There were a lot of items in the room which the hotel charge extra for, and need to be signposted a bit better.

It's a 5* hotel so of course the standard is high and we were happy about it despite how crazy expensive it is. It's Singapore after all. The room was very big and very comfortable, and the staff made sure we were happy throughout.

The breakfast has to be seriously improved. For a 5* hotel in Singapore, you expect a lot more. The bread and pastries are dry, there are not a lot of fruit, too many Asian dishes that us European are not a fan of at breakfast (it's great that they have the option for those who want, but they have about 60-70% Asian), scrambled eggs tasted horrible and there is no egg station with the person making your own order. Do yourself a favor and don't pay $36+ for that, it's absolutely not worth it.

Room was nice and the bedding was pretty comfortable. Food was fairly decent. Location is superb as you have great connectivity to MRTs and bus stops. It's pretty good to walk around and explore the neighborhood. The locality (Tanjong Pagar) has great food options and this locality will never let you run out of options.

Breakfast menu was pretty much the same everyday. The Indian section was honestly terrible. Naan was rock hard. It'd have been nicer if there was a dynamic menu everyday. All you get to eat is MEAT. Everyday you'll have the same cold-cuts (ham/bacon/beef-salami/poached eggs/assorted-cheese/egg-station/noodle-station). The live counter is honestly a big disappointment. It feels nice only on day 01, but then from day 02, it keeps getting boring, for real! Housekeeping doesn't vacuum the room everyday/regularly. I think that could be improved (especially when you have guests staying for more than 2 nights/3 days). We've stayed for 5N/6D and our room wasn't vacuumed for once!

Great location. Tanjung Pagar MRT station it’s just a few minutes away. So catching trains all over Singapore is very easy and convenient. Nice big room with a great view of the city (I wish I had binoculars!) Staff were really accommodating and wonderful. Breakfast was pretty good as long as you eat it in the restaurant. A little bit expensive, but that’s to be expected in this kind of property. Many cheap options for all meals within easy walking distance to Chinatown or Hawker Stall centres. There is a restaurant directly across the street called Bar-Oque. This place is indescribably good, providing us with life-changing culinary experiences on multiple occasions. Not cheap, and worth every penny!

Laundry service ridiculously expensive. But there’s a coin laundry open 24 hours a day just three minutes walk away. This is highly recommended. Ordering breakfast delivered to your room turned out not to be very good as they wrap it in plastic wrap. This destroys the texture of everything from toast to bacon. Not recommended

Like - Decent room sizes, Great location very close to Maxwell Food Court, which is very good. You find all sorts of food there fresh juices as well and beer as you prefer. All the business area is within walking distance MRT close by. Staff in general is good and cooperative, but don’t expect five star service. General provision stores 7Eleven and fair price are across the road. You have fresh healthy. Top water provided near your sink, refill your water bottle. Dislike - the people at the reception have to be trained train better, to be more efficient verbal and accommodative towards customers. There was a deposit taken on my credit card for $300 for which receipt the lady at the reception did not give thereafter on checking out when I said to reverse it, she did, but again forgot to give the receipt . important things. Otherwise, this is no issue. Bar area at the hotel lobby, where happened to ask for a glass of water as I had to take some medicine was in was informed they don’t serve tapwater at the bar have to buy sparkling or bottle water, which is shocking because in Singapore, we have tap water everywhere. You can literally drink from the tap in your bathroom. —————-END———— Did not use the hotel restaurant for eating any food or drinks. There are thousand better options outside.

The location was great and very convenient. The hotel itself looked and was amazing and very secure. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff were very kind, understanding and helpful.

The only thing I didn’t like was the incredible humidity in the room. I understand that humidity is generally an issue in Singapore, since during our stay humidity outdoors was very very high as well. But inside the room it was so humid to the extent that the sheets felt wet and a very thin piece of clothing that I hung up to dry for two days stayed wet.

Hotel has a luxurious feel and was a great way to finish a 4 week European holiday. In a great location near Chinatown and Marina Bay. Pool area was peaceful and easy to get a sun lounge. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Had a great city view from L23. Amazing breakfast buffet with a wide range of options. All staff were welcoming and helpful. The Concierge (especially Loges) made great recommendations for local restaurants and visiting attractions such as Marina Bay Sands and Sentosa Island. Overall, it was a fabulous couple of days and we will be staying at the Carlton City the next time we are in Singapore.

We arrived early, after an overseas flight from Canada, and the staff greeted us at the door and held on to our bags until our room was ready. They let us have earlier checkin with no charge. The room was spacious, with a nice view, and was clean and comfortable. I’d recommend it both for the property itself and the location near to many great restaurants, bars, shops, and easy access to the sights by the very efficient train system in Singapore . The lovely rooftop pool was a welcome refresher after a day of sightseeing, especially as it is so hot in Singapore.

Nothing.. I would stay there again.
