I recently had a delightful stay at this hotel and appreciated their pet-friendly policy. It’s fantastic that they welcome pets, but I suggest considering complimentary amenities for furry friends, such as water and food cups in rooms or small blankets/beds. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, a slightly larger closet would be beneficial for those with an extensive wardrobe. Overall, a wonderful experience with room for small improvements in pet services and storage.

Fantastic place, not only as a hotel but city full of surprises and very calm and friendly citizens speaking fluently in English. Hotel itself is very tidy, clean and equipped with a high quality furniture with a touch of modernity. We had room number 505 with a large bed, comfortable chair and spacious bathroom. Hotel is located next to the street but still, we've had peace of mind and suitable environment to rest properly. Hotel provide professional service with a very friendly staff. Free parking and very good breakfast is just another advantage. We're highly recommend this place to anyone.

Nicely located in a quiet area and good parking facilities and free. Super welcoming staff. Newer rooms with, very nice, usb charging sockets and a very nice bathroom/shower. Everything worked very well. Good breakfast. Easy access to bike rentals and busses for sightseeing if you are without a car.

The pillows. Thou there were two, one firm and a so called soft, the soft however was very high and therefore got the feeling of being firm as week. Not ideal if sleeping on the stomach, BUT the hotel did offer options for feather pillow, which may had done the trick, however there were not directly available in the room.

Extremely clean, nice and cozy, the staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in the hotels we’ve stayed (at this price or even more expensive) - for every taste and needs. We travelled by car and we stopped here just for 1 night and it was the perfect accommodation. (Parking included). Totally recommend! The best Holiday Inn Express Hotel we’ve stayed in.

For us it wasn’t a problem, cause we traveled by car, but it was a bit far from the city centre, although we didn’t look for public transportation options too, if you need them, do your research, it’s worth it.

The hotel is excellent and ideally located just a 5-minute drive from the city center. It offers a quiet and safe environment, with easy access and clear directions. The parking area is spacious and conveniently located behind the hotel. Check-in is quick and efficient, with polite and helpful reception staff. Rooms are exceptionally large, clean, and well-maintained, with a special commendation for cleanliness. Hallways are spacious, clean, and fragrant. Despite being fully booked during our stay, the soundproofing was excellent. Heating was great, beds were very comfortable, and breakfast offered plenty of variety for everyone.

Highly recommended for both short stays (passing through) and longer visits (a multi-day tourist trip to Ljubljana).

The breakfast was satisfactory, with a solid selection of dishes that meets the expectations for this type of hotel.

Given that the hotel is located in Slovenia, it would be expected that the staff speaks Slovenian or at least makes an effort to communicate in the local language. This would significantly improve the experience for guests, most of whom were from Slovenia. Even a simple greeting and polite phrases in Slovenian would make a noticeable difference. Additionally, the carpet in the room was dirty, which gives an impression of untidiness and lack of cleanliness. Furthermore, the room was located in the basement, which was not particularly pleasant due to the lack of natural light, affecting the overall comfort of the stay.

Thanks to Holiday Inn Express - Ljubljana our trip was pleasant and nice! We loved: 1. Cozy and stylish room with pillows on your choice of firmness and softness (these are usually found in 5-star hotels) 2. The room was created not only by a designer, but also by an engineer. We finally found a sink tap that is not too low or too close and allows you to wash your hands without touching it! 3; Breakfast was nice and tasty! 2 types of coffee (filter and coffee machine) and all types of milk, local pastry, veggy and standard options allow you to have a hearty and tasty sun-up. 4. Attentive and friendly breakfast stuff, that regularly checked the availability of food 5. Free parking ! 6. City map with sightseeings at the receptions 7. Good location in a quiet, peaceful area about 20 minutes walk to the city center. Thank you, your hotel left pleasant memories of a wonderful trip to Ljubljana, which we also really enjoyed! I would be happy to come again.

Shower gel and soap for hotels of such a popular chain could be better

Quite place but you can reach the city center in 15 mins by car. Great room with different kind of pillows which definitely helped. The room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was great with lots of options. The staff were polite and really helpful. Free parking with electric charging stations.

Even though parking is free, they have limited parking space. Although we didn't had any problems finding space, but it can definitely get crammed.

The free parking is definitely a bonus. Having an iron and an ironing board in the room is so useful!! This was a very nice surprise. I loved that the hairdryer was a "normal" one, not one of those you usually find in a hotel's bathroom. The hotel is a bit far from the city centre, but it's in a quiet, nice and safe area, so if you don't mind walking about 40 minutes to the city attractions, this might be a great opportunity to discover another part of Ljubljana. Spacious breakfast area.

Just a minor thing: there was no chair in the room and I think having at least one is very practical and useful.

The room was clean and comfortable. The toiletries were all Dove branded, so were of good quality. The staff were all very nice and helpful, we arrived mid morning after an overnight trip, luckily our room was ready so we were able to check-in nice and early which we were so thankful for! The breakfast was good, nce seating areas.

There was no fridge in the room, which was disappointing as it was so hot outside and we wanted to save plastic and money by cooling tap water, please consider adding fridges. The location is 10min bus ride from the centre, but we knew it wasn't central when we booked.
