Everything about this hotel, from the perfect location in District 1 with massive views of the Saigon River and Cau Ba Son bridge, to the kind and caring staff is top shelf. The room was modern and linens were spotless. They made us feel right at home. The pool was lovely, with delicious cocktails and food available with just a glance at the friendly pool staff. The breakfast buffet was incredible with so many tasty western and Asian options. They accommodated our late checkout and arranged a taxi to the airport. We wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend this hotel.

The thing I liked the most about this hotel was the staff. Everybody on the reception desk was helpful and friendly Tanya, Emily Candy and most importantly Mia. Mia was my main reception contact, she helped me check in early (there is a fee but completely worth it) and gave me an amazing room with a fabulous view of the river. Nothing was ever a problem. I hope hotel Lotte really value her as a staff member. But you could tell all of the reception staff wanted your stay to be as comfortable and happy as possible. Besides the staff the property was very spacious and clean. There was everything you needed including a fitness centre, a swimming pool and several restaurants. Breakfast is good and plentiful also. The hotel is also in an excellent location. It's close to everything but quiet enough to be away from really busy places.

Probably one of best 5 star hotel in district one facing the river. Our second time stay at this place. Ithas a very spacious lobby and dining area. The ambiance is really nice with nice decor and lightening, flower arrangements and nice light piano music playing in the background . The biggest swimming pool which is located on ground floor with plenty of sun beds.The breakfast is so extensive and a variety of items to choose from. All very fresh , inviting and delicious. The executive lounge is worth paying the extra serving after noon tea, and evening drinks and canapés from 5.30 pm to 7pm. The staff are friendly and approachable. Our room was nice and clean facing the river on top floor with good bedding. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again.Opera house is around 10 minutes walk away

Absolutely loved the experience here - great customer services from car drop off to checking out. You are made to feel like you are taken care of. Super professional, clean, and easy. Gym was great - has a good amount of the, better than your average hotel gym. Breakfast was really good - highly recommend. Super diverse selection and actually tasted pretty good. 12PM check out is great for a leisurely exit. View was amazing At this price, was much better than some of the other hotels in HCMC that was at a similiar price. Wish I was in Saigon longer so I could have stayed longer!

Bell boys upon arrival fast & friendly taking our bags to check in - check in was the same. Our bags were taken to our room on the 7th floor & we were met with amazing views of the river. A massive bed which can only be described as a Super King. The room amenities are great - there is a mini car & plenty of space in wardrobe & bathroom is well served with shampoo conditioner, body wash & lotion and all the other little things you might need. 2 bottles of water every day. Street noise or corridor noise not an issue. Breakfast is impressive & caters for all types of food options. We had pizza one night in the Italian & spent a few afternoons by the pool. All of the staff were friendly & efficient. There is a gym & plenty of outdoor seating & lounges. Bar service in the lobby area is very good. House cleaning is exceptional. The pool area is well serviced by pool attendants for access to lounges & towels on several occasions (over several days) when needing to get a drink or food from the bar staff we had to go inside only to find they were on their phones & ability to understand English was a challenge at times . There is a lack of poolside service & cleaning of tables after eating, we had to take it inside ourselves after about 15 mins & had to continually ask for ice to be brought out on an exceptionally hot day. The hotel location is good -it’s within walking distance to many sights or a few $$ by grab to the key locations such as markets & imperial palace. Toilets & public areas always spotlessly clean. Overall a highly recommended hotel despite a few minor issues poolside.

The location was good, but it took a good 10-15 minutes before you reached the more central locations in the city. The view towards the river was amazing, though. Breakfast was outstanding, with local and international options. The staff was incredible. Because our daughter is named like the hotel, the staff gave her small presents with the hotel name on them. She is playing with those all the time; it was such a nice gesture!

The rooms were great, but for a 5-star hotel, you'd expect them to be just a little bigger, a little more luxurious. But in terms of quality and cleanliness, there was certainly nothing to complain about!

-The staff are very friendly and helpful. MiA and Hart took time to upgrade my room for a much better view and helped book all the services I need. I appreciated their gestures a lot. - Room is compact but has everything you need. Amenities are of high quality. I noticed their hairdryer even has a difuser. Very thoughtful touch. - Bed was so comfy. I had a great nice sleep - The view is amazing, both during the day and night. Thanks again for the room upgrade. - The high-tea was nice. Their portion was huge. It could literally serve as a late lunch. The tea was good, and the cakes are all nice. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay

Classic reception area and dining area for breakfast light and airy with soothing background piano music. Breakfast choices were superb. Great river view from the room. Nice pool and sun terrace. Above all, the staff were all amenable and professional in their work. The beaming smile from the young lady greeting me at the breakfast reception every morning provided a lovely start to the day.

Bath tub with shower curtain ; I had expected a walk-in shower for a five-star hotel.

Lotta hotel is located facing the river.It is a few minutes walk from the main busy area of district1. We were allocated a room on 16th floor with stunning views of the river with access to the club lounge. Our checkin and out was from the club lounge.we were very well looked after by all the staff . Plenty of drinks, choice of spirits and food is available in the club lounge. My wife is vegetarian and the staff did their upmost to meet her needs .They ensured that vegetarian food was available for her.Complimentary birthday cake and flowers in our room were very much appreciated . The lobby is huge and very welcoming. The pool area is quite big and ample of sun beds. Bottle of water each is provided at the pool .Breakfast is varied and plenty of item to choose from. It took us about 8 minutes to walk to the opera house and Ho Chi Minh statue using the rear exit of hotel. Really enjoyed our stay and will stay here again. Thank you all at Lotte to make our stay enjoyable. Really appreciate

The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are really clean. The river view is excellent. It is very close to the central areas. It is easy to get around by foot. The staff are very helpful.

The showers are difficult to operate, I would imagine it would be harder for many elderly people. Particularly, the shower is located at an awkward height above the bath. You need to jump into a bathtub, and turn the valve to direct the water to the shower head. All the water does not get directed to the shower head, so you have the bath tub filling up halfway up your legs while you have a shower. It is not ideal. You have to be super careful not to slip or fall. There are some really nice open spaces. But you have to buy a drink or dinner to enjoy the spaces which I think is a shame.
