Everything about this hotel, from the perfect location in District 1 with massive views of the Saigon River and Cau Ba Son bridge, to the kind and caring staff is top shelf. The room was modern and linens were spotless. They made us feel right at home. The pool was lovely, with delicious cocktails and food available with just a glance at the friendly pool staff. The breakfast buffet was incredible with so many tasty western and Asian options. They accommodated our late checkout and arranged a taxi to the airport. We wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend this hotel.

Was not impressed that the US dollar was asked for Breakfast. Secondly the buffet dinner was impressive but the food such as the meat and vegetables in the dishes was not warm enough it was actually cold. That supposed to be kept warm . Concerned here about potentially food poisoning. And it was not cheap. To expect to pay for such a spread you at least expect the food to be kept warm at all times!! It was not up to scratch. Secondly I found communication with the waiter staff in English was not up to scratch either

The thing I liked the most about this hotel was the staff. Everybody on the reception desk was helpful and friendly Tanya, Emily Candy and most importantly Mia. Mia was my main reception contact, she helped me check in early (there is a fee but completely worth it) and gave me an amazing room with a fabulous view of the river. Nothing was ever a problem. I hope hotel Lotte really value her as a staff member. But you could tell all of the reception staff wanted your stay to be as comfortable and happy as possible. Besides the staff the property was very spacious and clean. There was everything you needed including a fitness centre, a swimming pool and several restaurants. Breakfast is good and plentiful also. The hotel is also in an excellent location. It's close to everything but quiet enough to be away from really busy places.

Our family had a truly wonderful stay at Lotte Hotel Saigon. From the moment we arrived, thanks to the complimentary airport transfer, we felt welcomed by the elegant atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, perfect for families, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you need. Many even offer fantastic Saigon River views. The hotel's facilities are excellent, especially the large outdoor swimming pool, which was a huge hit. We also appreciated the convenient on-site dining options. The location is superb, right by the Saigon River and within easy walking distance of major attractions, making city exploration a breeze. Lotte Hotel Saigon perfectly blends luxury with family comfort, and their attentive staff made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for any family visiting Ho Chi Minh City!

Probably one of best 5 star hotel in district one facing the river. Our second time stay at this place. Ithas a very spacious lobby and dining area. The ambiance is really nice with nice decor and lightening, flower arrangements and nice light piano music playing in the background . The biggest swimming pool which is located on ground floor with plenty of sun beds.The breakfast is so extensive and a variety of items to choose from. All very fresh , inviting and delicious. The executive lounge is worth paying the extra serving after noon tea, and evening drinks and canapés from 5.30 pm to 7pm. The staff are friendly and approachable. Our room was nice and clean facing the river on top floor with good bedding. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again.Opera house is around 10 minutes walk away

It's a very grand building, the entrance is astounding with a historical and sophisticated feel. The Staff are beyond exceptional!!! We were treated like royalty, by every staff member. The best treatment on the 10 day trip all throughout Vietnam. I can't remember everyone's names but Finn stood out the most for us. Perfect for couples. The pool, gym, steam room, sauna, breakfast area was top notch!!!! Bidet toilets with heated seats, large sized room, bath and showers with excellent pressure and lovely river view from our room. I wish we could have stayed longer! Luxury 5 star kept to an immaculate standard of cleanliness.

Some signs of wear as it's an older colloquial building but you can see they have tried to correct issues. The bidet in our room didn't work, the bed was incredibly hard/firm. The price of drinks by the pool was a bit eye watering. Location is mostly good but we did still need to order Grab/taxis for the most part. I wish we could have stayed longer!

An unexpectedly wonderful experience – down to the smallest detail. At first, I thought this was just an older hotel. But from the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was pleasantly surprised. The architecture and interior design are thoughtfully crafted – with elegant, calming tones that create a warm yet modern atmosphere. What truly stood out was the service. Every staff member, from the reception to housekeeping, was genuinely friendly, attentive, and professional. Their hospitality made a real difference. My favorite part: the hotel gladly offered a room with an extra-large bed, which was perfect since I was traveling with a kid. That small gesture made our stay so much more comfortable. I’ll definitely come back.

Absolutely loved the experience here - great customer services from car drop off to checking out. You are made to feel like you are taken care of. Super professional, clean, and easy. Gym was great - has a good amount of the, better than your average hotel gym. Breakfast was really good - highly recommend. Super diverse selection and actually tasted pretty good. 12PM check out is great for a leisurely exit. View was amazing At this price, was much better than some of the other hotels in HCMC that was at a similiar price. Wish I was in Saigon longer so I could have stayed longer!

The location was good, but it took a good 10-15 minutes before you reached the more central locations in the city. The view towards the river was amazing, though. Breakfast was outstanding, with local and international options. The staff was incredible. Because our daughter is named like the hotel, the staff gave her small presents with the hotel name on them. She is playing with those all the time; it was such a nice gesture!

The rooms were great, but for a 5-star hotel, you'd expect them to be just a little bigger, a little more luxurious. But in terms of quality and cleanliness, there was certainly nothing to complain about!

Bell boys upon arrival fast & friendly taking our bags to check in - check in was the same. Our bags were taken to our room on the 7th floor & we were met with amazing views of the river. A massive bed which can only be described as a Super King. The room amenities are great - there is a mini car & plenty of space in wardrobe & bathroom is well served with shampoo conditioner, body wash & lotion and all the other little things you might need. 2 bottles of water every day. Street noise or corridor noise not an issue. Breakfast is impressive & caters for all types of food options. We had pizza one night in the Italian & spent a few afternoons by the pool. All of the staff were friendly & efficient. There is a gym & plenty of outdoor seating & lounges. Bar service in the lobby area is very good. House cleaning is exceptional. The pool area is well serviced by pool attendants for access to lounges & towels on several occasions (over several days) when needing to get a drink or food from the bar staff we had to go inside only to find they were on their phones & ability to understand English was a challenge at times . There is a lack of poolside service & cleaning of tables after eating, we had to take it inside ourselves after about 15 mins & had to continually ask for ice to be brought out on an exceptionally hot day. The hotel location is good -it’s within walking distance to many sights or a few $$ by grab to the key locations such as markets & imperial palace. Toilets & public areas always spotlessly clean. Overall a highly recommended hotel despite a few minor issues poolside.
