The staff are really nice. The breakfast is good and restocked often. The location is great and only a short walk to the centre, or 12 euros in an Uber. The rooms are basic and it's really no frills but excellent value for money and clean. The rooms are very small when using the fold down bed for a child so it makes moving around difficult but this is reflected in the cost.

Only one pillow which isn't the best Small rooms for families Alarm outside somewhere that goes off every few minutes which is really annoying.

Ibis really understands how to deliver a very good product at a budget price. The rooms are small, but you expect this. The bed is comfortable, The bathroom is amazingly complete is such a small space. The place is very, very clean. The breakfast was great - better than many other places. All in all, I would highly recommend any Ibis Budget Hotel for people who want quality without spending a fortune.

Everything was great.

It was close to the station, easy walk to the centre, the two young ladies on reception were lovely and very helpful, even with attempting to sort out a personal problem for me. The bathroom was very well lit which made grooming so much easier. I noticed two men come in with food and the receptionist directed them to the dining area where they could sit and eat comfortably.

I use Ibis budget regularly so know what to expect. They are clean and basic but ideal for budget travellers. Buffet Breakfast available. The vis & railway stations are 10 minutes away as was the centre of an interesting town to explore.

Bus services are sparse for towns around Amiens so plan your journies carefully. Buses every 90 minutes to/from Beauvais airport are the bonus.

In general, it was a pleasant stay. It has the necessary for a business trip, it is close to the train station, a walking distance from the old centre. It is modern, clean, tidy, newly renovated feel, and the staff were friendly and professional. There is a free a water dispenser on the reception which is cool, and a large lobby to work etc. I would recommend it for someone looking for a good quality/price ratio.

The only negative small details: - The mattress cover (under the sheets), it is a kind of plastic, and my partner is skin allergic to plastic, so it could be a better quality, and there was some hair on it that could be removed. - The towels are small and not thick enough, I get it's a ''budget hotel'' so equipments are minimised but probably better to add some hand towels, a better quality shampoo, and a hair dryer.

If you are driving, the hotel is easy to find using GPS but be aware, the traffic in Amiens can be heavy. This hotel is a budget hotel so don't expect a nice lounge or swimming pool. It is presently located near to a building site but there was no noise to interfere with our comfort. There is ample free parking within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel in a covered car park so this was not really an issue. Amiens is a busy city, especially in the evening and there are many good restaurants next to the river. Amiens cathedral is magnificent and must be visited on any tour of the city. Museums are plentiful and there are numerous war sites around the area with interesting, heroic, sad and depressing stories to learn about.

There is no restaurant for evening dining so you have to go into the town but its only a five minute walk so no great hardship. There is a small canteen like facility for breakfast. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Do not leave your car in a parking spot next to the hotel, if you can find one and unless it is for a short stay and you pay for a ticket. You will be hit with a parking fine.

We arrived on cycles (by the way that is not an option in your questions above) and before booking we asked if they could be stored securely. The staff said yes and when we arrived they helped us put them in their storage room on the ground floor. A good location in a side street quite close to the railway station and the Somme river/cycle route, and easy walking distance to the town centre. Quite close to the Hortillonages waterway/garden complex too. A good base. The window opening limiter could be removed in order to open the window wide to let in plenty of fresh air. Aircon also in the room.

The room was a little cramped as there was a third (foldup) bed against one wall and the room was designed for this to be in use. Also our particular room was above the cafe patio, where people smoked, so we did get cigarette smoke in the room at times.

The reception check in was pretty straight forward albeit the receptionists did not speak English but with a little French it was fine. The room is a reasonable size and was very clean with a lovely outlook across the city from the 5th floor. All very comfortable with a nice ensuite shower room. Breakfast is the usual continental type but with a wide choice and very pleasant. There is only on-road parking but this was crazy cheap as a visitor during the week and free at weekends. The city centre is only about 15 minutes walk away and the main station about 10 minutes.

Very close to the water gardens and station, handy for central Amiens. Staff were great. Dog welcome, infact more than that our dog was given a little goody bag of chew/toy/poo bags! Standard Ibis Budget interior- so good enough. Breakfast fine.

We weren't sure about eh location to start off with, looked tatty and run down, but it's all being done up and there's other chain hotels opening nearby. There was building work happening while we were there on the plot next door.

Excellent value for money and everything we needed for a one night stay. Little extras such as the vending machine and water refill make a difference too. Only 10 minute walk to the Notre Dame of Amiens, an outstanding building and well worth the journey and cost of the visit. Lovely breakfast and plenty of it.
