Slightly past its glory days in a quirkily shabby way, but perfectly clean and functional. I imagine it was a high-class golfers' hotel some 50 years ago. Fantastic views of sea and nice terrace. Easy car parking although a little difficult to find yr way in on arrival (reception is off the street to the right of the two blocks, park on the main street until you have the gate access codes from recpetion, after that its easy!) Sweet swimming pool with loungers. An excellent base in terms of balancing exo ony with access to Biarritz - a lively 20 min walk along the sea front (long flight of steps to get down to sea level, just after the light house). Nice open air café overlooking sea on opposite side of road for breakfast (we didn't take the option to have it in the hotel). Slightly annoying tiktokker blocking back door with camera man and make up person - had to wait to exit on multiple occasions while she finished her lip synching 🤣🤣🤣

This was a great location, it was ideal for access to all of the beaches, right along the coast. Biarritz, Anglet and Bayonne are all within easy reach on regular bus rides. Bus route runs right outside the hotel running along coast north to Bayonne and into Biarritz to connect with an extensive bus network at a very reasonable cost (weekly pass for 5people €40). Two reasonable sized pools, great for swimming and just cooling down, they are deep too so ideal for teens and adults. Apartments are secure with 24hr access. Easily accessible from airport by taxi. Plenty of restaurants and cafes close by, options for most budgets available and supermarket and great bakery/charcuterie all within an easy 7 min walk from gate. Room had good facility and resources for self catering. Parking if required although we didn't need this facility. Staff helpful when asked questions or assistance needed. Happy to organise taxis, store luggage securely, provide clean sheets if needed and good local knowledge too. We had a great view from the first floor balcony down to Anglet and beyond. Apartments had sufficient space for us as a family of 4 adults and flexible sleeping arrangement was helpful.

Not much to criticise: We had a sea view room and apart from cafe/road noise that to be honest i'm jsut not used to - seeing as I live in a rural area - no complaints there but can see that this might be an issue for some. Only other thing that comes to mind is that the bunk beds a bit short and narrow for older teens but manageable with some improvisation.

Good location to the beach and to walk into Biarritz along the coast. Overnight stop and suited us for the night.

There was cleaned crockery left in the dishwasher from previous people. We didn’t need to use but maybe hadn’t been fully checked.

It being the height of summer traffic was very busy and although we had stayed here before the entrance had moved but we eventually got to reception got the keys and proceeded to our room it was like maze getting to the room, apartment was very adequate for us for an overnight stop, from apartment balcony is a golf course which offers pleasant view. - there were facilities on site which we didn't use, parking is a free for all, so you have to drive around grounds to park until you find a vacant parking plot. this apartment was the cheapest accommodation I could find for an overnight stop, for two adults & two children, I have no complaints at all. Across from apartments on the prom there is a very busy bar which serves food - quite expensive but given its location - overlooking the sea - understandable.

Only being there for an overnight stop, I feel it's unfair to give negative comments, the apartments were full of what looked like happy holiday families. We have stayed here before for an overnight stop.

Excellent location, good size appt, lovely sea view, efficient and friendly staff. Comfy beds, clean appt.

As other people have mentioned the property is a little shabby in places but it really didn’t detract from the holiday.

Fabulous location and views, with great access to the beach, restaurants & bars. The main surfing areas were great to . Free on-site parking a real bonus. Very accessible

External appearance of the property is very poor, After reception closes, there are no facilities. Signage for access to rooms is poor. Lift is critical, as stairs are very dangerous

Good value if you don't need luxurious surroundings. Functional, practical with lots of parking.

Nothing not to like. Older, somewhat 'gone to seed' golf property put to good use as a basic hotel in an expensive area of France.

There are some very nice details of the apartment, but some parts still need renovation. It was better than I expected based on the reviews. Comfortable, well-equipped. Very nice helpful staff, great pool. Comfortable big bed, I was very happy with the many pillows.

Location great, very peaceful, the guy a deck brilliant with us as well very freindly and helpful rooms and beds decent great for 2 travellers

Nothing really rooms a bit dated but still great value and beds you couldn't wall round room bit tight if your fat ya have no chance

Only downsize , no WiFi and although they did say to contact reception by the time we got back the reception was closed
