A very old hotel in the centre of Arramonche. It has recently had a refurb. Our room was spacious and comfy. There was no wardrobe in the room but staff brought us a hanging rail to use. Some rooms look onto the beaches and the main square. Parking is a 5 min walk away and if you are lucky, you might be able to get one of the 32 free spaces in the car park nearby. Plenty of places to eat nearby, we didn't eat at the hotel. The staff at reception are very helpful and all members of staff we found to be very pleasant. Plenty of D DAY museums and monuments within walking distance. The Brittish Normandy Memorial a 15 min drive away.

We liked everything. Perfectly placed for all the D DAY Commemorations.

We loved the location and view. The lady at the desk (Sylvie?) was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good and plentiful, and we especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and the coffee machine.

It was a bit noisy early in the evening with people stomping up the stairs and some sort of loud music. It settled down later in the evening. We found the room a little cold, but we are from a hot climate so it might not be an issue for most people.

Firstly, what excellent reception staff - they really helped us and made us welcome on arrival. They gave us a diabled car parking space behind the hotel which prevented us from having to park some distance away - a real bonus!! The hotel also has an elevator (lift) which again was a real bonus as my wife requires a new knee so stairs are a difficulty. Location is fabulous with sea views. Room clean, warm and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Difficult to drive a car to, having to drive in pedestrian areas to unload suitcases due to disability.

I did not like that the elevators were not accessible early in the morning when we had to leave. We had to lug all of our luggage down a narrow spiral staircase. We did not expect it and which caused delay in our planned departure time not to mention it was exhausting and hard to do. We did not leave terribly early. It was 0700 in the morning. Once would have expected to be able to use the elevator.

The place had a beautiful location and the view from the room was nice. The room was a great size. Nice to be so close to history.

Not a complaint, but a minifridge in the room may have been nice to keep things cool. We tend to travel with some food to make lunches for our daily road trips to save on time visiting monuments and such.

Excellent first class restaurant…great great food. Very helpful front desk…we found free parking especially when cars cleared out about 3:00 on….. Beautiful views of the sea…very very convenient for ALL D-day sightseeing. Best D-day museum we found was about two blocks from this hotel right in Arromanche……great stay!!

Location was right on the water and great for WW2 site seeing attractions. staff was wonderful, dinner at the restaurant was great.

Our room was small with out a sea view but that was not unexpected due to booking last minute. Although the hotel has an elevator please note that when the reception area closes for the night at 11:00p.m. the elevator is inaccessible until they re-open in the morning.

The hotel is perfectly situation in the seaside town of Arromanches-Les-Bains. They have a nice dining room and an outside terrace that face the sea. The ladies in the Reception are very friendly and helpful.

I would like to have ordered a cocktail each evening, but choices seemed limited. I ordered wine instead each time. The meal was good, and the desserts too!

Location was fantastic, near to shops, bars and restaurants in a couple of minutes walk. Comfortable beds, lovely breakfast was good and good shampoo and soap for the shower and a hair dryer. We had a lovely view over the beach.

No access close to the hotel as it’s in a pedestrian area. There was pay for parking areas close by but you have to get up before 9am to replenish the meter.

The room was very spacious, clean, and up to date! We also had a view of the ocean which was beautiful. The staff were friendly and very welcoming! This hotel is the best! Would absolutely stay here again. It was also very close to restaurants and shops
