Part of a small chain, and great for a short stop, about 15 mins drive from Ouistreham ferry port. Rooms quite basic, but clean and comfortable with a good shower. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is a restaurant on site that does very reasonably priced and good quality evening meals and breakfast. There is also a secure car park.

Breakfast could have started earlier to accommodate early morning ferry catchers, but otherwise perfect.

Clean room, friendly helpful staff, plenty of breakfast choice. Good value for a short stay. There is free parking near the tram stop at Pl de la Republique (about 5/10 mins drive & a decent Italian restaurant there for the evenings.

Would have liked to have had info regarding tram & restaurant available on arrival. Though it was easy enough to work out with Google maps.

The room and bathroom were clean and adequate.

Bathroom was small difficult to move around. Only one average size bath towel per person. No hand towel and not of good quality. Bar non existent. Staff did not know what drinks they had. Eventually found some gin but no tonic. Needs a well sticked bar. Restaurant. Starters and desert good. But NOT ACCEPTABLE ti keep thmain courses hot. We went in at 7.30 so eating main meal about 8pm food had been kept hot for over 30 mins. Others came in at 9pm and same tray of hot food given to them. Just not acceptable. Main meat course not good at all. There was a noise in the restaurant like a very noisy dishwasher kept coming on and off. Totally destroyed the atmosphere. Staff did not clear plates away and were not in evidence for 95%of the time. Not impressed. 11

Clean and free parking. No evening restaurant at the weekends so we drove into Caen centre for the evening. We returned with a bottle of wine and the receptionist was a real gent and loaned us wine glasses and a cork screw and left a table outside for us to drink at.

Taxi to town quoted at 20 euros each way so. I drove and found free Saturday night parking.

Great little modern hotel just outside Caen. I walked in and out, but it's about a 6 mile round trip, so bring your your walking shoes. Or just park up in town.

Had a great stay here to end our road trip through France we arrived early but we were checked in to our room early which we were grateful for . Great base for going to explore D day landing beaches in very close a super market and about 10 min drive from a large shopping mall. Staff friendly beer good rooms tidy beds comfy can’t comment on breakfast though cause we are not breakfast people . Would use this hotel again if in that area of France again.

Excellent location for the ferry, helpful staff, value for money, breakfast good, tray dinner unusual but fine.

Was surprised to be charged 40 euros for breakfast and having small dog - bit excessive ?

We take part in the 10k race in Caen and had to rush to get out of the hotel, although we were never pressed
