One of the best stays! The host Rhian was incredible - communicative, friendly, flexible, and generous in sharing her tips and recommendations. She's also knowledgeable about the history and the surrounding areas. Environment - the house is a beautiful old stone house with lots of characters. The interior is homey, comfortable, and clean with all the amenities you need. There's a friendly doggo in the house so might be something to note if you're not comfortable with dogs. But he's very gentle. Breakfast - everything is home-cooked by Rhian and it was very tasty with sweet and salty options. The portion was so generous we had to have a very late lunch and asked for a smaller breakfast the next day :) Location - it's located in a small village less than five minutes drive from Bayeaux and less than 15 mins from some of the Normandy landing beaches. It's recommended to travel in this part of Normandy by car or bike. Overall, it was super lovely to stay there!
Nothing at all!

We loved our stay. The facilities are good and Rhian helped us around through the region and also with small practical issues, like reserving a restaurant. Furthermore the breakfasts are just amazing, really nice to sit around the table and getting home cooked breakfast with lots of options. Altogether a very warm place to day.
The hotel is next to a road with some traffic, sometimes you hear the trucks quite clearly in you room.

Very attentive owner who was really friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was really good, home made and an excellent choice. The building is very old, full of history and quite quirky, we absolutely loved it and would come again if wanting to return to the area and we'd happily recommend it to others.
It would have been nice if there had been a restaurant nearby that we could have walked to buy there are plenty of good places to eat in Bayeux or Arromanches

Beautiful recently remodeled B&B. Wonderful breakfast of plenty hot and cold dishes, cafe and juices. Delightful hostess Reanne was very helpful and an excellent cook for her guests. Lovely 1-night stay.
Everything was wonderful. Our 1 doublebed room and private bathroom was in the tastefully decorated attic, albeit up two flights of narrow wooden stairs. Maybe not ideal for those physically challenged, where the house has other lower floor options. The bathroom and shower was clean and cozy, though the headroom around the sink is slightly limited and narrow on the attic roof angle... otherwise perfect.

Nice room in a lovely house a short drive from Bayeux and D-Day beaches. Host was lovely and welcoming and helpful and made fresh breakfast everyday. Good value for the area.
The room we stayed in didn’t have a private toilet (just a room with a shower). It was fine but I didn’t realise this when booking as assumed a shower in the room would also mean a toilet, but that was perhaps my fault for not checking property.

Our hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Our room was comfortable with a good shower. The toilet was just outside the room which was not a problem for us. Our hosts gave us great tips for the local area and made sure that despite our very early start (to catch the ferry back to the UK) we had some delicious homemade quiche, crepes and a coffee to go. For the accomodation offered and warm hospitality received, you won't find anywhere better for this price.

Absolutely loved the stay, Rhian (host) is exceptionally courteous and professional. In addition, she is a world-class chef so the breakfast was fabulous and full of so many options. She even packed a crepe to take away for the day. I had some car troubles on the way, Rhian was so kind to accommodate a late check-in for me and graciously offered to lend me her kitchen late at night for dinner when I arrived. The location is perfect for all tourists, but especially for the ones going to Cherbourg Port or WW2 History enthusiasts. :)

Splendid breakfast. On our whole 10 day trip this breakfast was the best. Great and large room. Free parking. Very helpful host who's really enjoying hosting guests. A pleasure!
The bathroom is a bit small. We're not really a fan of the latest trend to keep the bathroom open. A door or a drape would give a bit more privacy. But we managed to close off the bathroom with the door of the closet... This should not stop you booking the room, as the stay was great.

Comfy beds, big rooms, towels provided, joint rooms if you are with family, very nice. Hostess is super lovely, friendly, very helpful and cheerful, really does with her heart all the things. Has a really sweet family. It was a such a joy to stay there :) Breakfast really delicious, many things own made, amazing!! Also possible to eat dinner which was superb, everything own made, wow, really awesome :) Located near to Overload museum and different cidre farms and also sea and beaches. Parking nearby in school yard, secure, 2 minute walk to the house. Really lovely stay in such a beautiful home and with such a lovely hostess :) Thank you so much :)
If it is over 30 degrees outside then rooms are little bit hot. If you are a light sleeper then noise from streets (cars mostly) may disturb.
