Very nice and attentive hosts, the possibility of having good dinners in the house restaurant. A suitable location for trips in the region (caves, river, old settlements).

If I am not mistaken, the pool was advertised as "heated", but it was not. True, weather was relatively cold already in the midst of September, but still... what other time (than during cold days) one would appreciate a "heated pool"? Sometimes the little parking place was too little for all the guests.

A lovely comfortable environment with a very welcome pool, having experienced temperatures of 41 dec C. The hosts are fantastic in every way - generous, kind, helpful, knowledgeable and English wasn't a problem. The breakfast was substantial with freshly baked croissants and bread, homemade jams, boiled egg, fresh fruit, yoghurt, etc. The room is spacious and clean and some amenities were provided- which you don't see much of these days. It was also very quite and has air conditioning. The location is perfect as a base for numerous sights and activities around the Dordorgne region. 10 out of10!

Gladis and Ian are great hosts and truly care about your well-being during your stay. Breakfast is very nice and taking dinner at the domaine is really a must-do, to enjoy the splendid cooking capabilities from Ian and deserts from Gladis. The pool and terraces are perfect to rest and enjoy the quiet surroundings. We will come back to this treasure for sure.

The hosts of this BnB are so friendly, polite and dedicated. A beautiful building with historical character, clean swimming pool. Rooms renovated recently with good taste and awareness that this is a countryhouse. Rooms (by staircase) of good size, comfortable and spotless clean, with a fridge and tea/coffee machine. Toiletries and linen of good quality. Great location with parking to explore Sarlat and the caves. Stable wifi. Food in restaurant tasty, well cooked and of good quality, but portions not as generous as other restaurants. Hosts can speak English (and other languages) to welcome you! Amazing place, open all year round.

Difficult to find what could be improved... I would say that breakfast is a bit limited, only white bread, for example. I like buffet breakfast because then you can vary your choices each day, add cereals, but that is probably too difficult in a cozy small BnB. Eggs are cooked the moment you arrive, so they are super fresh. Maybe offer a second pillow, they are so thin, but I wouldn't be surprised if these hosts have them already!

Gladis and Ian are wonderful hosts. They are very friendly and helpful. The property is located very conveniently, at walking distance from the town with its restaurants, supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and cash machine.

Our experience at Domaine Lacoste was 11/10. The property is stunning and immaculately kept. Our room was lovely, with everything we needed to feel comfortable. It included little thoughtful touches too. The pool area, gorgeous, we could happily have spent the entire time by the pool, but the region has just so many amazing treasures to discover. Ian and Gladis are the perfect hosts. We were made to feel so welcome. They really do go the extra mile to make sure their guests are happy and comfortable. Their food and hosting skills are top notch. Advice on things to see - no problem. A mojito by the pool? You got it! A home cooked evening meal by the pool for two? Absolutely! All in all, just an amazingly, wonderful stay! Thank you so much Ian and Gladis!

Friendly owners, great view and comfortable swimming pool. In reality room looked much better and was spotless. Breakfast with local seasonal fruit was fresh and delicious.

A very nice property with friendly and helpful hosts. The breakfast was good and the beds are comfortable. We especially enjoyed the use of the very lovely pool area after a hot day sightseeing. There are places to eat in the village within a 2 minute walk or Ian and Gladis will prepare a very nice meal served on their patio on a warm summer evening, its very attractive. It was a peaceful location and a good base to explore the Dordogne area.

Its being picky but maybe a bit of variety at breakfast would be good, such as french cheeses, or different fruits on occasion. The breakfast was fine but variety is also good!

Everything. The facility, the location, the staff, everything was perfect. Domain Lacoste is owned and run by a couple, Ian and Gladys who do their utmost to accommodate their guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay .

Nothing. I hope that nothing changes as this was perfect. We are already planning our next visit to the region and will stay at Domaine Lacoste.
