Perfect location right next to the beaches and old town or longer walk to beach clubs, the bed was very comfortable, staff are friendly and approachable, check-in/out was smooth and helpful. We loved the wine-tasting held each night this was the highlight and such a nice touch to the stay. The room was always kept clean and fresh daily the hotel has a nice atmosphere and has such a lovely vibe to it and it is definitely where you should stay to soak up that old town city/culture experience. I loved the little balcony in the room it had nice views of the city and buildings.

I really liked everything in the hotel. The old style with its colours is gorgeous ! Everything in the room and in the bathroom worked well and were entirely comfortable. I want to say about cleanliness. It's perfect! Even the tiles in the bathroom were shiningly clean. The bed was really comfortable with a lot of nice pillows and snow-white bedding. The window and the balcony are one love ever! The best thing after cleanliness is always quietness This hotel is really quiet! It was really lovely, peaceful, and quiet in the room . I couldn't hear anything from next door rooms or outside. If you open the window, you realise that the noise from the road outside is quite annoying ,although the window is so good that it blocks all the noise. You can stay in the room like in your own peaceful world of relaxation and calmness . One more wonderful solution is the cupboard, which is a separate room ,where the small fridge is hidden. You can leave your belongings such as suitcase and other stuff there not having a mess of clothes around in the room. The fridge doesn't make any noise as well. The guys at the reception were amazingly helpful and friendly. I had my UK plug ,so I was not able to recharge my phone. When I told them about my issue, they found an adaptor for me immediately. Complimentary wine tasting was great! I really liked to stay at this lovely place, which is close to everything, the amenities, the train station, the main street,and the sea is not too far away.

They were incredibly helpful and attentive, offering personalized recommendations and going out of their way to ensure that our stay was perfect in every way. Whether it was arranging activities, assisting with restaurant bookings, or simply offering a warm smile, their hospitality was second to none. A special highlight was the complimentary wine tasting offered every evening. It was a wonderful way to unwind after a day of exploring, and we loved sampling the local wines in such a relaxed and welcoming setting. It provided the perfect setting for our minimoon, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

When we arrived the valet parking was unavailable and we were not told about this beforehand. We ended up parking in a nearby carpark which was relatively cheap but was a bit of a pain as we were not prepared.

Location. The rooms are very modern looking.

It’s an old building, they should restore it.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and professional especially Marie who gave us a breakdown of the Cannes city map showing us places of interest and also restaurant recommendations which was invaluable as we were only on an overnight stop as we were joining a cruise ship the next morning! Also the free wine tasting is a delightful added bonus and a lovely start to your evening as well as the central location of the hotel.

The Cavendish is recently refurbished and is all nice and clean. Rooms are a good size, nicely decorated and have aircon. The building has an interesting history and the 1920's lift still works and is very cool. The staff are all friendly and Ralph in particular is amazing. He's been at the hotel over 30 years, speaks to the history and gives tours. He is also quick with a great glass of wine😁

Its all pretty good. The location was slightly further from the front than we thought, but really only takes 5 minutes to be in the very centre.

Our room was large and beautiful and we had a nice view from our 4th floor terrace. The daily wine tasting was not to missed. The friendly and informative staff and the guests, many who came back year-after-year, kept us enthralled with their tales of travel and history of Cannes. We will definitely stay again at the Cavendish should be return to Cannes.

The staff very kind and helpful after an error on booking.com with the price , booking .com tried every trick in the book to wriggle out of their responsibility to me after their mistake and didn't help at all , and tried to blame me saying my credit card was invalid, my account had been hacked and even when I complained to them asking to be compensated , they blamed the hotel ! It was only the kind hearted staff who helped me get a bed for the night .

We didn't have breakfast but it looked delicious. A coffee and croissant is all we need and there was a bakers not far away. We prefered the Le Suquet area which is a 10 minute walk. There is paid parking in a multistory at the back of the hotel - the spaces are quite tiny

It was a bit of a walk to the front and it wasn't easy to find things, theres lots of construction going on but you are in the heart of Cannes.

The wine tasting and drinks after 7pm was amazing where we could connect with the manager and their lovely staff! Not only drinks but even snacks.

The Rotunda room on 2nd floor had an extra door and the terrace had a very foul smell.
