The hotel's location is almost perfect and it was easy to arrive with train and lots of baggage. The staff was wonderfully friendly and lovely and the view from the room great. The breakfast was tasty and I enjoyed my stay a lot.

The shower was a tiny tiny box, almost impossible to even turn around and in the bathroom it smelled a little bit like sewers.

Had to air the room several times, it seemed a bit hot in comparison with the outer premises. Didn't catch the interface of the a/c at first glance (it was a little noisy at night)

I loved the location across the street from the train station. Yes, it was a bit noisy, but it was great to have transportation right there so worth the payoff for me. I also loved the morning breakfast on the rooftop. It’s not a fancy hotel at all, but that fits who I am. Heck, we got room cleaning daily which was a bonus as most place we stayed that was not a perk. The staff is also very nice.

The room is small. And, the little coffee service tray is not refilled, so once you drink your one cup of tea that is it! Oh well. Also, it doesn’t have a small fridge, nor a good place to put 2 suitcases (even the small ones.)

i always balance my comments on the price paid verus the service received so, if yuo are looking for a 5 star hotel, pay 5 star prices. This hotel is fabulously located, immediately opposite the train station, in the middle of an area full of bars and restaurants and, 400m from the beach and the main square. Staff when checking in are very polite and helpfull, the rooms are clean and comfortable and, there is a great roof terrace with panoramic views for breakfast (which is only EUR 8 for a very good continental buffet). Only 2 things to note, the rooms are very basic and it's a shame the roof terrace isnt open for evening drinks but, to my first point, for what you pay, this is amazing value and I would highly recommend>

We liked that there was 24 hour front of house with the option to leave your key at the front desk. we decided to take the option of breakfast each morning which was excellent and good value for for money.. A good quality safe in room for personal belongings was a bonus.

The lighting in the room was very poor and the shower doors were hanging off which could have been dangerous if they fell off completely. We did report this but guessing there was no one to fix this problem, also the net curtains didn't fit the window so anyone could see in.

We had a lovely stay at L'Esterel in Cannes. The room was small but comfortable, as well as the helpful staff who quickly fixed an issue with our toilet that we noticed upon checkin. Despite not choosing the breakfast option, we ended up going each day because it was good value for money for €8 and the rooftop view is lovely. The location is also amazingly convenient to the beach and many bars and restaurants. The blockout blinds are also excellent, as are the double glazed windows to keep out the noise.

The rooms are small, but it's nonetheless good value for money.

The location is amazing just 400meters from the beach and Walk of fame, and the area feels safe and relaxed despite being right next to the central station. Excellent bakery opposite and lots of dining options in the area. Room included basic facilities like water boiler for making coffee, we slept well in the beds, air conditioning was quiet and effective. Bathroom and shower was good. Wifi was fast but see cons as well. All in all, no complaints for a two star hotel!

The elevator is not for impatient persons, but hey, at least there was one, and you shouldn't be in hurry on a vacation anyways! Wifi is fast and stable, but you can only connect one device per person.

Located right in front of Cannes train station. Easily spotted from the train station. Room faces the train station but not noisy. Hotel has a lift. Bed is comfortable. Lots shops & restaurants, McD, Lafayette nearby. Walking distance to many attractions. Hotel staff is helpful. Lost one luggage & passports on the train from Paris to Cannes. Hotel staff was very helpful in assisting us to call Malaysian embassy to report the loss of passports. Staff helped in every possible way. Grateful to the staff of L'Esterel. tq v m L'Esterel, we appreciate it. Will recommend this hotel to all our friends.

Hotel is good. Nothing to complain about. Just be careful on the train from Paris to Cannes, esp when the train stops at Marseilles.

2 minute walk from Cannes Train station, 5 minutes from the beach and most of the city centre. Staff were really friendly and spoke good English, Really good value for money and close to Nice and Monaco via a direct €7 train ride.

Aircon blew out hot air making the rooms really hot, thankfully the temperatures outside were cool enough to keep a window open, Breakfast was tasty but had very limited options and the beds were a little old and squeaky. But don't let this put you off staying here 😇

Excellent hotel if you plan to stay most of the time outdoor visiting city or staying at the beach. Although bedroom is quite small and shower area as well, location is excellent, just 10-15 minutes walk from main beach and less than 5 minutes walk from bus stop that takes you to Nice airport. Breakfast of 8 euros per person also worth it mainly when you don’t want to waste time looking for coffees around.

Bed mattress was too soft and the individual beds are quite narrow. Shower area is extremely small.
